8/30/18 Left for BayShore, Bill rode the motorcycle and I pulled the camper. Set up next to Wes and Gayla

Bill is getting too big for his britches...He bent over and this is the result.  I think Kimmy already sewed the rip on the pocket of the other side.
Got up early and finished packing the camper.  Bill helped carry everything out which was nice.  Left a note for the guys asking them to fix a tile section that bulged in the bathroom shower.  Made coffee for them before I left.  Bill didn’t want to bother them, but Vikki and I thought it should be done right or it would always bug me and I agreed. We left for BayShore.  Bill drove the motorcycle and pulled the little camper behind him, and I pulled our camper. We prayed first of course. I was a little nervous because it is longer than our old camper.  We stopped half way at Tim Hortons.  It’s our tradition.  I was happy the city and expressway driving were over, and I had a nice country drive with great roads the rest of the way.  It started raining even though the app on my phone said it wasn’t going to.  Poor Bill got wet and stopped to put his rain suit on.  We made it safely and everything in the camper was still in place, so my driving was pretty good.  Bill even complemented me on driving it good.
Wes and Gayla are camped next to us facing us which is nice and we have their canopy between us for shade. Our picnic table is under it. What great friends.  Bill helped park people.  They are letting us camp for free and giving us all of our meals for free because we help out here.  Gayla, Elaine, Barb and I set up the War Room for people to pray in.  I went in and prayed for Melissa and some other people and thanked God for what He has done already.  Wes rented a fire pit and we sat by it for a while.  Renee, Dan, Barb, Wes, Gayla, Bill and I played cards. Gayla was the winner.

It rained hard during the night.  It was still raining in the morning, but stopped after I got to the rehab.  Bill and I went to get gas at Krogers, but when we got there, all the pumps were roped off and the lady told us they were closed for 2 hours.  I had to get a couple of gallons of gas at Speedway as I had 4 miles showing that I could still go.  Bill left it like that and sure does push it.  Melissa was in OT when I got there.  She was throwing bean bags in the sink from a distance away.  She was doing pretty good. She did great at therapy.  We went back upstairs and Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came to visit.  We all went down to the lobby and got popcorn and sat there and ate it.  I came home and started packing the camper.  Bill was cutting the grass and it was raining.  I got things together to take out to the camper and waited until the rain was done to take it out.  I had to go pick up Melissa's kiddos from school.  I picked up a marble decorated cake from Sam's club for Bill.  I went to Aldi's and got ice cream and then dropped the cake and ice cream off at Vikki's to bring to the rehab tonight.
Bill and I got to the rehab and Wes and Gayla were waiting in the lobby.  Melissa, Bruce and the kids came down and Bill said we should go to the cafeteria.  Stacie and Kody were in the cafeteria already. Kimmy, Jared and the kids came and then Vikki,  Rody, Peyton and Isaac got there.  We all had cake and ice cream and celebrated Bill's 70th Birthday.  We had a fun time even though I didn't bring an ice cream scoop so Kimmy and Vikki had to scoop ice cream with a plastic spoon.  We cut the cake with a plastic knife and had to imagine candles on the cake because I didn't bring those either.

8/27/18...Drove through Outdoor Adventures in Mt. Pleasant,Went to the rehab to visit Melissa. Came home and packed , went to Mt. Pleasant to stay in free room,

Outdoor Adventures in Mt. Pleasant

This is the little pond. Forgot to take a picture of the big pond.  It would be fun to kayak on.

Our free room at the Soaring Eagle Hotel was so nice.  Loved staying in it.
This was the best hot tub I have ever been in.  Such a nice gentle bubble flow that went all through the water. Very relaxing

Bill

Beautiful new chairs that were so comfortable

Bill way over in the hot tub.  Hardly anyone in the pool because everyone is at the other end of the building in the casino.
Grout on the shower
Bill and I at the Aurora Buffet.  We each got a free meal for his birthday.  The buffets each cost 24.95.  Huge blessing for us.  I sure am appreciating my hero!
Went to the rehab to visit Melissa.  I got to watch her do her therapy today.  I haven't seen her do it since August 17th.  Then she just tried standing with the walker.  It wasn't easy and she couldn't walk with it.  Her Therapist, tried doing a step with her with the walker, but she couldn't even pick her feet up over an inch to get them on the step.  Today he had her do the steps with the walker and she went right up them with her walker by herself.  I was amazed and was holding back tears.  She did them so good and got to the top, turned around and went back down them.  Her therapist was so happy and proud of her, he was teary eyed too.  Then he had her walk with the walker down the hall which is 90 feet.  She went even farther because she went to the wall past where the 90 feet ares.  We went upstairs to her room and her OT came and got her and took her back down for Occupational Therapy.  She stood to do the ring sliding on the half hoop.  She hadn't done that when I watched her before.  She got upstairs and the doctor who had been negative came in and had her walk.  I was worried because she had just done all that therapy.  Her OT Therapist was there and wanted to hang on to the gait belt because Melissa is Minimum assist, but the dr. didn't want her too.  Melissa had to walk with her walker and turn in the hallway by herself which she hadn't done before.  She did great and then the dr. had her stand talking to him for five minutes.  I was so worried about how tired she had to be.  He was still pretty negative.  Melissa's therapist were all positive and so encouraging that she would get back to where she was.  The are going to speak up for her at the meeting tomorrow.  I got home and we packed and left for Mt. Pleasant.  Our free room in the Soaring Eagle Hotel for Bill being a veteran was very  nice.  We went for a ride to the Honda Dealer to look for motorcycle accessories.  They didn't have the organizer the girls and I were going to get Bill for his birthday and they didn't have much of anything else either.  We went to Penneys and shopped for sales...found shorts and other stuff for 5.00.  Bill found a pair of swimming trunks for super cheap.  He forgot his at home.  We went for a ride through Outdoor Adventures after that.  It is a really nice park.  Very clean, with all full hook ups and cement slabs.  Very big sights.  All the roads are paved.  They have a beautiful sandy beach on a big bond and then a little pond too.  The pool lis in now. We went back to the hotel and went to the Aurora Buffett.  There was a one hour to one and a half hour wait.  They gave us a buzzer so we went in the casino and played the $20 they had put on Bill's card for his birthday.  Bill won  $10 and then he quit.  Finally after close to 2 hours, the buzzer went off and we got to eat.  If was hilarious watching everyone eat these big crab legs.  I tried some, but I think it is too much work and too messy for what little meat you get.  They had great chicken, potatoes, pork roast, and lots of other great food too.  Also a great salad bar and a great dessert bar and ice cream bar.  We had a nice time together celebrating Bill's 70th Birthday.  Went to our room and got ready to swim.  We swam and went in the hot tub.  They have beautiful new comfy furniture by the poo.  We went back up to our room and got the hot tub in our room ready.  I had left the stuff to do my hair in the morning out in the cr. Bill was sweet and went out and got it for me.  The hot tub was the best one ever with lots of gentle bubbles in the whole thing.

It looks beautiful!  Thanks to Angie and Ray, Debbie and Tom, Fred and Lourdes, Pam and Dick, and Carol.  Nice of Bill's family to get this amazing gift for him to c celebrate his 70th
Got up early and put a roast in, peeled carrots, potatoes and made dough for rolls.  Went to church and worship was awesome and Pastor had a great message.  Prayed for three people after church.  Came home and got the roast out and packed up a big container for  Bruce and the kids and two individual containers for Bruce to take to Melissa to have at the Rehab.  We had to be in Frankenmuth to meet Debbie and Matthew at 2, so I left the kitchen a mess and left with Bill to drop the food off to Bruce.  We made it to Frankenmuth on time.  We ate downstairs.  We all had chicken except for Matthew.  He had a salad.  They gave Bill a Bronner's Christmas Ornament with Happy 70th Birthday on it.  Debbie showed Bill the plaque for his gift with all the names on it who got it for him. We had a very nice visit and celebrated Debbie being cancer free for 7 years and also Bill's 70th birthday.  We went to the Rose Garden afterward and Debbie gave him his gift.  He had to lift it out of the car.  It was a beautiful Infinity cross for the yard.  We had the motorcycle, so Debbie followed us to Melissa's house where my car was.  We took it home after that and put it in front of the house. It looks beautiful.  We went up to visit Melissa for a while.  Kim Reminder came up to visit her too.  She brought cookies and cupcakes and a special bag with goodies in it for Melissa.  We came home and I cleaned up the messy kitchen.  It was funny because Vikki and Rody came over while we were gone and she couldn't believe my kitchen would look like such a mess.  She didn't know about my busy morning, so I filled her in.  Melissa's day went better and the doctor who was so negative yesterday apologized and was very nice to her today.  Thanking God for the answered prayer.

It was raining and thundering when I got up.  Went too see Melissa at 10.  Watched her do the bike in therapy.  I was hoping to see her walk .  We went outside for a while since it quit raining.  It ws really nice out and we had a nice time visiting.  Came in so Melissa could eat her lunch and I went to pick up Hailey and take her to Taco Bell.  I have been missing her and needed my Hailey Time.  We ate and talked about her new school lots.  I went back too the hospital and let Melissa beat me at two games of Tonk.  She beat me bad both games.  She was pretty happy about it too.  Vikki got  there and she distracted Melissa but it still didn't help me win.  I left so I could stop and get a birthday card.  Stopped at HealthSource and visited John from church. Had a nice visit and he was really happy when I took him to the gift shop and got him a bag of popcorn.  He was really hungry and was looking for food when I got there, but the cafeteria was closed.  Saw Kim Seager there working at the front desk.  Bill was already home from Mt. Pleasant where he was helping collect money for the Marine Corp. League.  We got ready and went to pick up two pizza from G's.  Went to Wes and Gayla's and we had pizza, bread sticks and then a yummy blueberry cobbler that Gayla made for dessert.  We had fun celebrating Joel and Bill's birthdays.  Saw triplet fawns in their back yard while we were there.  They came very close to the house.  Visited for a while and then came home and Bill put his back rest on the motorcycle. Watched a Hallmark Movie.

Max and Abby hanging out

Evan

Jack

Today, they got the stool done and are leaning the shower so they can grout it Monday!

Went to McDonald's Nursery and walked around looking for deals.  Didn't find any.  Went to Melissa's house to watch the boys.  Made Oatmeal for Max and Evan.  Jack had already eaten before Bruce left.  He was working on his language folder.  Changed and washed Jack's sheets..He helped me.  Folded the laundry in the dryer.  Started a load of laundry.  Went through the laundry and had the boys put their laundry away in the right drawers upstairs.  They did it cheerfully.  They played their I pads for a while and then I had them put them away.  Jack worked on language, Evan read 3 books to me and Max went downstairs to create something with legos.   We left and went to the Rehab to see Melissa.  Max and Jack played Minecraft and Evan and I watched Melissa on the lokomat.  One therapist let Evan ride the big 3 wheel bike Melissa was on the other day.  He crashed into a few things because the seat was too high for him.  I went to take a picture, but Gayla called right at that moment so didn't get it taken.  They had a few problems with the lokomat so I decided I had better take the boys home and feed them.  While we were there, I took the sheets and bedding out of the dryer and Jack and I made his bed.  He was a great helper.  Abby was cute and brought her favorite toy to me to play with her.  Love sweet Abby.  Jack and Max stayed home and played with the legos. Evan and I went to my house.  I baked a birthday cake for Rody to take over to their house tonight. Bill went to get plates for the motorcycle and forgot the proof of ins so I had to run it to him.  Evan and I stopped at Meijer's and got ice cream and popsicles.  Got home and frosted the cake.  Evan had a popsicle while he waited for me.  I took Evan to Bruce's and dropped him off and picked up Max to take to Vikki's to spend the night.  We had tacos at Vikki and Rody's and then had cake and ice cream.
How nice of them to have us to eat.  We had a fun time and it was fun watching Lenny and Lucy play nice together.  Came home and watched and listened to Elevation worship on the TV.
