6/17/17...Went swimming at the campground and went for a walk. After that I left to go home. Went to Bill Eaton's memorial service and then to Jocelynn's graduation party

Cute picture Kimmy took of the boys walking their sheep
It was nice in the morning so we went swimming.  Went for a walk after that.  I headed home and got ready there to go to Bill Eaton's memorial service.  Bill and I headed to Midland to the church for the service.  The memorial was very nice.  Bill got up and shared how Bill Eaton had worked for him and while he was witnessing to him about the Lord, Bill Eaton spit tobacco on Bill's shoe.  Bill invited him to come to church and see the movie, A Thief in The Night.  Bill and his family came and they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Before that Bill would put his fists through the wall and also had a fist print in his refrigerator.  After that night God made such a change in him that he became gentle as a lamb.  He was always giving us tapes, videos, etc. to watch and listen to.  He and Phyllis had a picture of the rapture in their kitchen where the believers were being taken up to Jesus and planes and cars were crashing because they no longer had drivers.  It was quite the conversation piece.  Bill painted a picture of the Lord's Supper for us and gave it to us too.  We have so many good memories of him and Phyllis.  Phyllis looks the same and was as happy to see us as we were her.  Mike is doing great and he and his family are serving the Lord.  Very proud of him!  We sat with Becky Pickett's parents and they said Becky and her family are coming back from Iraq for six weeks. They are doing amazing work in Iraq.  Chris Turner was there too.  I had told Greg last night that Bill had died and he said he was going to tell her.  I was very happy to see her too.  We all sat together for the dinner.  We went to Jocey's graduation party at our church after that.  We had a nice time there too. When I got home, I went out to the garden with my boots on (it was very muddy from all the rain) and I weeded around the plants and thinned two rows of corn.  Have 6 more rows of corn to go, but it got too dark to work any longer.
