Sunday, 5/17/26, Our Nation Redicated to God! Yay! Bill and I went to church, Stacie came over, went to Jack and Evan’s concert, fish pond lost water somehow,

When I got home from church, I went out to feed the fish and saw that their bond was half empty.  They only had water in the lower part and the bubbler was working.  I sure would like to know what happened.  I filled it and it has stayed full since then.  So weird.
Pretty Calceolaria Stacie brought me today.  Can’t wait to plant it outside!  Thank you Stacie!

Stacie and I went she came to visit

Hailey and I at Tony’s after we left the concert.  We had so much fun!

We went to the first service at church.  It was hard for Bill walking but he made it.  We sat in the back row agains the wall.  Lots of people came and said hi to Bill and prayed over him.  So many wonderful friends at church.  The worship was awesome.  I went up to the altar and worshipped, but Bill couldn’t;t do that today like he usually does.  Pastor gave a great message.  I went up to pray for people after the service was over.  A couple came up for prayer for the guy, Andrew’s, grandma, Dorothy.  We felt God’s presence while we were praying together.  The Holy Spirit is moving in such an amazing way.  We need the Holy Spirit to move in our church and it’s happening.

We talked to people on our way out of church, and Bill finally said he had to get out to the car because he was in pain.  He was walking much straighter than he had been.
I went out to feed the fish, and saw the fish pond was over half empty.  I started filling it right away and called Kimmy and Jared to see if I should put the fish back in the basement.
We decided I should just watch the water level and see what happens.  Well, it never lost water again.  We got a thunderstorm in the evening and an inch more of rain was added to the pond.

I sat outside for a while on the swing.  Lots of birds were eating.  Stacie texted me to see if she could come over.  I checked with Bill to see if he felt up to company.  At first he said no, then he changed his mind and said yes.  She came and we had a great visit.  She brought me a beautiful plant for Mother's Day.  So sweet of her. I had to get ready and leave to go to Jack and Evan’s concert, so she left.  I got to the Messiah Church just as Melissa, Bruce, Hailey, Jack, Evan, Debbie and Ron got there.  Good timing.  They had drinks they got at the Church Cafe.  I went and got an Ice cap, but instead of it being cold it was hot.  It was still good, so I didn’t tell them they made a mistake.  They were pretty busy serving people.
The concert was amazing and the boys and Lydia did such a great job.  All of the kids did!
Debbie and Ron left after the boys were done and the other band started.  They were heading to Georgia from her.  When it was over I left.  Then I got a call just as I had got out of the parking lot and Hailey was so hungry and wanted to know if I could take her home because they had to take Jack back to his school.  I was happy to turn and go back in the parking lot and get Hailey.  We went to Tony’s and she had pancakes and fries and I had a burger and fries.  I brought home a burger and fries to Bill.

We ate, then watched Freedom 250...America being rededicated to the Lord.  Praise God for what He is doing in our Nation.  Humbling ourselves and praying to God for our Nation.
We acknowledge we are totally dependent on the Lord.  Without him we can do nothing the Bible says.

So exciting.  We couldn’t finish it and will continue watching tomorrow.

I got up at 9.  Bill was getting ready to go to collect money for the Marine Corps League.  He asked me if he could take my car.  I wasn’t up yet so said yes.  After he left, I got up and went outside and saw that I caught a raccoon in the trap.  I was going to water the grass, when I remembered I was supposed to meet Bill’s Sister, Debbie, because was surprising me and taking me somewhere special for my Birthday that was in March.  I called Debbie at 9:15 and asked for sure the time I needed to be at her house.  My calendar said two times.  Well she told me I needed to be there by 10.  I quickly did my hair and got ready.  Then I went to the garage and saw the Jeep with just bars for the doors was what I had to take. It had rained but was finished, so I prayed it wouldn’t rain any more and I would make it to Debbie’s without getting splashed by other vehicles.  I had my raincoat on, so after I was driving, I pulled the hood over my head.  Bill had the heat on high, so I was glad of that.  I put sunglasses on to keep my hair out of my eyes.  Well God answered my prayers.  I also was only 13 minutes late.  Debbie was outside waiting for me.  She drove me to Zehnder’s for a Spring Tea Party.  Everything was so pretty.  It was sold out and many people were there.  She told me we had until 10:30 before it started, so we weren’t late.  Chef Lance was the opening speaker and he went through the menu and explained what we would be eating.
We each were given a tea cup and tea pot to take home.  They had a delicious muffin for us on a plate with a veggie croissant that was yummy.  After that, they brought out pea soup with delicious croutons and little plant parts that were edible. Bill wouldn’t have eaten anything there, but Debbie and I both loved it.  It was healthy.  Debbie asked our waitress to ask the chef to come out so she could have a picture taken.  It wasn’t long and he came out.  He was really nice and very humble.  We ate more food and dessert, then we talked to the ladies at our table more and then left.  When we got to her house, I went in to say hi to Matthew, my nephew, but he wasn’t home.  I am glad he has a busy fulfilled life serving Jesus now.

I drove home, and stayed dry thankfully.  It was a windy ride home but it had warmed up so it was enjoyable. Bill was going to mow our lawn, but the PTO wouldn’t work on the lawn tractor.  I told him I would be happy to mow it, but now neither of us could.  Jared was going to come look at the mower, but Bill had already called Brad from church who has a lawn business and he was bringing his tractor and was going to mow our lawn.  Bill drove our tractor to show him how to cut it and when he made it around the house, the PTO started working!  We were so happy about that and thanked God.  Kimmy called and the boys, Eli, Isaac and Jack wanted to go ride bikes on City Forest rail trail.  Jared was bring Kimmy and Eli here and then taking all the boys there.  Vikki, Peyton, Rehvyn and Isaac got here shortly after.
Melissa, Bruce and Jack go here next.   Jared and the boys loaded up the bikes and left.  Bruce left too.  Melissa, Kimmy, Vikki, Peyton and I visited inside for a while, then sat outside because it was warm and beautiful out.  We watched the birds, visited, snacked and enjoyed watching Rehvyn play.  He sure is a good boy and so happy.

After Brad finished mowing the lawn, we girls and Rehvyn went out to look at the fish.  He had blown the cut grass onto the pond.  I started using a net and scooping out the grass, then Kimmy took over and finished it.  It was after 8 when everyone left.  I read my Bible and then worked on my blog, then went to bed.  Bill still has to sleep in the recliner.  Prayed for him and that he would get good sleep, because I remember how awful it was sleeping every night on the recliner.

Friday, May 15, 2026, Kimmy and Vikki came over, went with Bill for his 10:30 appt. at the VA, he’s doing slightly better today, Travis dropped Rehvyn off at our house, played with him and watched birds outside with the girls, Bill sat outside of Pats and collected money for the Marine Corp League, I went to visit him, went to Sam’s, to TSC, and to Chic Fil A.

Rehvyn loved the slide today
So precious even when he’s sleeping
Ha ha, this is my new feeder to keep big bad birds from
eating all the food.  My first bird to eat on it was the red bellied woodpecker.  His beak was so long he could reach the food when he stuck
An Orchard Oriole came to my feeders lots today.  It’s kind of rare for here. It is darker colored than my normal orioles
Mason in his Marine hat...He is getting close to 5 months when he will be able to have his surgery
My hummingbird was here lots this evening
Vikki FaceTimed me when Rehvyn was playing with Lydia and Barrett.  Lydia and Rehvyn were waving to me for a long time and I finally decided to take a picture just then Lydia stopped and turned around in her chair.  It was so cute to see the waving together.
This police car I got Rehvyn at a garage sale has different sirens, plus if you hit the blue arrow button on the top, its back wheels turn and it goes by itself.  I had to help it get up the steep parts of the bridge.
Rehvyn with his “Ain’t No Nana Like the One I’ve Got” sweatshirt on.  It was a dollar at the garage sales.

I decided to get up earlier than I planned, so I turned my alarm off.  I got ready, and planned on going to Melissa’s to pick up the wheelchair.  I had talked to her last night and we decided I could get there a 7:15 to get it.  Then Melissa called me this morning because she forgot the boys didn’t have school today.  I had her put the wheel chair on the front porch and told her to go back to bed.  Then Bill decided he could use his sit down walker and I could push him if I needed to.  I called Melissa back to tell her.

I came in the living room and sat with Bill.  I put Elevation Worship that was amazing on the TV.  Both of us enjoyed worshipping to their amazing worship.  When Kimmy and Arnie got here, then Vikki, I turned the worship off and went in the family room and sat with them.  Vikki had oatmeal and Kimmy and I had yogurt with fruit, plus tangelos, and granola in it.  It was so good.  Kimmy and Vikki don’t like the smell of it.  At 10:00 Bill and I left for his appointment at the VA with the urologist.  That went well and his numbers were good.  They did some lab work, then scheduled everything he needs to have done.  When he got his results it showed a borderlrine infection.  We prayed with Melissa on the phone that it would go away and not get worse.

Travis brought Rehvyn over while we were at his appointment.  We were so happy to see them when we got home.  Vikki and Kimmy gave me a lemonade with strawberries in it they had got from Panera and shared with me.  Yum!  Strawberries make all the difference.  Rehvyn stayed here and we had fun with him.  Then he went home with Vikki and spent the night at her house.  Peyton is watching Lydia and Barrett tonight so it will be good for Rehvyn to play with some little friends.  Kimmy had to leave to go meet Jared.  Before she left she dug out my dead knockout rose bush and dug up a     part of one of mine that has spread and had good roots.   I watered it and now hopefully it grows good.  Thanks Kimmy!  We walked around and looked at all my plants and checked on my fish while she was here too.  Today is Eli’s last driving night, so she is meeting Jared to walk.  Eli texted me and let me know he drove by our house on his last drive and that he would be getting his permit on Monday.  He will be a great driver!!!  Bill was able to go to Pat’s and sit on his walker chair and collect money for the Marine Corps.  That was good for him and got him out and a marine friend sat with him so he got to visit a little.  I went there after Kimmy and Vikki left, to see how Bill was doing and see if he needed anything.  I talked to them for a while and then left when I saw Bill was win too. After that I went to Sam’s Club for some things we needed, then went to take the live traps back that we got a week ago because they don’t even work right.  They don’t make things like they used to.  I did buy a heavy duty one they only had one of. They were really nice about exchanging it.  I called Bill to see if he wanted me to pick up Chic fil A for him and he did.  I got him a chicken wrap, chicken noodle soup and a vanilla shake.  I got me a 2 pk of chicken strips.  I sat outside more and watched birds when I finished eating.  Then I brought the feeders and jelly in so the raccoon doesn’t knock them all down again.  It broke my oriole liquid feeder last night.

I read my Bible and then did my blog.  Then went to bed.
