3/12/10

Kimmy, Jared and the kids came over so Vikki and Kenzie came and also Melissa, Hailey, Jack and Max. We had fun family time and the kids enjoyed holding their new cousin, Eli. Hailey was a baby hog of course...she takes after her mom. Ha Ha! Can't get over what a peaceful and content baby Eli is. He's so loveable. They all are though. Bill left for his men's retreat at around 4pm and I left for my pajama party with all the wives at around 7:30pm. Had a fun time...lots of good food, Worship time, prayer time, game time....etc. Missed my sweetie though...I will be glad to see him tomorrow night. Can't wait!!!

I made some vegetable soup for Kimmy and Jared so Bill and I took it over. Good excuse to see the boys and Eli again huh? We had a nice visit and got to take some more pictures.

3/5/10 Baby Eli's first vist at nana and papa's

Kimmy and Jared had to take Eli to his dr. appt. so they stopped afterwards. It was Baby Eli's first visit to Nana and Papa's. We were so excited to see him again and to see Jacob and Adam too. He is just the best baby. So content. Grandpa always wondered how Kimmy lucked out having two content babies. He would be amazed at baby #3.

3/3/10

Hailey and I had gone to All Stars and Kenzie to youth group. While there I got a call saying Bruce and Melissa had to take Jack into the ER for his asthma. Hailey and Max spent the night. I took Hailey to school the next day. Max spent the day with me. He was so good. He was a joy to have.

This picture is when Max was waiting for Kenzie's bus to come. He was watching out the window except when I tricked him and made him laugh so I could snap the picture

Grandbaby #7 arrives...3210...Yeah! Eli's here

Today was so special as baby #7 arrived. Kimmy, Jared, Kenzie and I went to the hospital early in the morning. Kimmy did awesome, so did Jared (the coach) and Kenzie the fanner did a great job too! I haven't seen their video yet so I don't know how I did at my job. I usually take some of the floor so they always remember what it looked like. Don't know yet if I captured it this time. Baby Eli was born with lots of dark hair. He was beautiful...such a miracle from God. Don't know how anyone can look at a baby and not see what a miracle they are. Thank you God! He weighed 7 lbs. 10 oz and was 19 and 1/2 inches long. Once again I couldn't hold the tears back. Watching the birth of all seven of my grandchildren has been an awesome experience. I am blessed. I loved watching as everyone in the family took their turn meeting Eli and expressing their happiness. It was such a joy when I took Jacob and Adam up to see mommy, daddy and their new baby brother. They were so thrilled and wanted to look their baby brother all over. After a few minutes Adam was off playing, but big brother Jacob stayed right by Eli, holding him with such a look of love in his eyes. It was very touching. These are the pictures I captured with my camera.

Aunt Vikki must have thought we wouldn't take a great picture of her and her new nephew...She decided to snap one herself.
