Sunday, 2/28/21, Went to church, relaxing day of rest!

Some cousins sure had fun playing minecraft together even though they were in their own homes

 Isaac and Peyton

Got up early so I could read my Bible and pray before church.  Made our coffee before church. Bill went to pray with the Elder's for Pastor, and I went to our intercessory prayer.  God was sure moving during prayer directing us what to pray for and confirming it.  After church, we came home and I made eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast.   Took a nice nap and caught up on my sleep.  I am not an early bird, getting up a 5:30 and then staying up until after midnight, tired me out.  We talked to Travis and Kenzie until after Midnight about the Bible, Bill shared his Vision, and some other things God has done in his life. To day I talked to Vikki and Melissa.  I am super happy that Hailey is singing with the worship team at Bethlehem on Sunday, and next week for the first time will be playing her guitar with them.  Way to be a blessing Hailey!  I can't wait to hear her online.  Praying for a friend at church whose 6 yr. old little niece went into the hospital and now they are saying she needs a heart transplant.  Praying for a miracle for this little sweetie.  Her name is Trinity and I know they appreciate all the prayers they can get.  After we ate the last of the chicken noodle soup Vikki gave us, I had a bowl of the Butterfinger Ice Cream she sent home for us.  Bill was too picky and only wanted Vanilla like usual.  I will have to force myself to eat the Butterfinger kind all by myself.  It's so yummy, it won't be too hard on me.  Thanks Vikki!  Did my lesson for Discipleship.  I texted with Adam.  Face Timed with Melissa and then with Vikki.

Sat., 2/27/21, Up early, got breakfast...everything individually wrapped at the hotel. Went to Seasons of Refreshing

No pictures today.  I was just focusing on staying safe and social distancing.  Good messages from our National Evangelist, Jay, and State Coordinator, Wayne.  Bill led the Pledge of Allegiance and the Pledge to the Christian Flag.  They served baked potatoes, with different topping choices...chili, cheese, chives, sour cream, bacon, ham.  You just told the person what you wanted on your plate.  You could just have a bowl of chili if you didn't want it on your potato.  It was delicious!  We left at around 6 and headed home. Stopped at McDonalds in Perry and Bill got a shake and I got a cheeseburger.  We split fries.  Was so happy to get home.  Unpacked and settled in our recliners with our electric throws.  Bill read his Bible because he didn't have time.  I read mine in the morning while he was taking his shower.  You should Go to You Tube and Type in Going Beyond Ministries with Pricilla Shirer...Let Revival...  Listen to the first Part about a Professor who took a group of students to visit the home John Wesley used to live in.  It is so touching.

Fri., 2/26/21, Went to CMA Seasons of Refreshing in Jackson

Ha Ha...this is our television in our hotel room.  Our reflection is in it so I sent the picture to the girls and told them we were watching us on tv.

Cool mirror in the bathroom with white stripes.  When I turned on the switch I realized they were the lights.
It also has something built in the mirror that takes the need for a fan away.  No steam after a shower. Squeeze containers of soaps, lotions, cream rinse on walls so no take home soaps and lotions to collect for missionaries to give out.  No coffee pots in rooms.  Lots of changes because of Covid.
Adam sent me this cute picture of all the pillows he was using.  8 1/2...and I thought Bill used a lot...4
Vikki sent me this picture today of me with Peyton and both her and Isaac's birds on my fingers

Left at 12:30 for Jackson to go to Seasons of Refreshing for our CMA.  Stayed at the Hilton.  Nice hotel room.  Everything very updated, clean and many USB port plugs. Plain and simple, but efficient.  No dressers or bedside tables.  Probably because of Covid also.  Looked pretty easy for the housekeepers to clean and sanitize.   Happy we are here for just a short time.  Can’t wait to be home sweet home.  So thankful for Lela's nice comfortable masks since I had to wear one the whole day.  No steamed up glasses and it covers so nicely.  Many compliments on them.  Thanks again Lela!

Not as many here this year and it’s a huge church, Grace Church, so very easy to social distance.  My heart is so sad that Brenda Roever passed away today from Covid.  Praying hard for Dave and their family and all of us who were so touched by their ministry.

I finally got to watch Kimmy trim some pottery!  She's amazing!
Isaac, Peyton and Wyatt.  They were watching Aunt Kimmy trim.

Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac over and we went to Kimmy's.  The pictures are actually in reverse order, so our day started with the bottom picture.  I didn't want to go to all the work to change them around because there were so many pictures.  We watched Kimmy trim pots and bottoms, put holes in the bottom and little grooves. It was so much fun for us to watch.
We visited after she was finished and drank our coffee.  When Kenzie and Travis got there, I gave Travis the Bible Bill and I got for him.  He was so happy and so was I.  He shared his background about when his family came here and why.  He also share that He is watching the Chosen, and didn't know who the people were.  Kenzie said she knew them all though.  Travis didn't even hear about Jesus until Middle School.  We had such a nice talk, and I love listening to him talk about his background and family and how they came here.  He sure is interesting to talk to and is just the nicest person.  Kimmy put out lots of meats, cheese, lettuce, onion, and condiments for us to make subs.  They were delicious!  Kenzie even ate two.  I don't see her eat that much usually.  We had chips and cheese balls with our lunch too, and pop.  Thank you Kimmy!  After lunch, Jared came home, and we all started carving on succulent pots and bottoms.  It was so much fun.  Eli brought out some of his amazing drawings he's done and showed us.  I went to his room to hear him play his clarinet, but he put it away and just wanted to give me a science test.  After I got the first two questions wrong, I went back to carving.  Peyton and Isaac had so much fun making their pottery and also carving Aunt Kimmy's.  We all went out to see the lambs after that.  Lots of Ewes and lambs.  The kids loved holding the chicken too.  So much fun on the farm!  What a great day.  Bill put the closet door in upstairs.  He still needs to adjust it and put the knob on it.  He did a great job!  I'm going to paint it, because it is whiter than the trim and other doors.

Cute pictures of Peyton and Mylee that Kenzie sent me today

Another warm day compared to what we have had.  43 degrees, but a little windy out there.  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac.  She had a cup of coffee before heading to work.  The kids wanted to read before doing spelling today.  We switched it up and had fun, other than while we were reading the Bible about David.  It was where Nathan was telling David about the rich man who had lots of sheep and the poor man who only had one that he loved.  When we got to the part about the rich man taking the poor man's sheep, Isaac started crying.  I asked him what was the matter and he said he was sad about his bird dying.  We talked about how sad things happen, but then we know how to comfort others if something happens to them, because we have gone through stuff and we get comforted.  I prayed for him and then he started feeling better.  We had time to play 3-13.  This was my day to win.  They sure are good little players though.  The carpet guy called and said our carpet came in.  We are glad it is not backordered and they will be able to install it on the 9th. We went to Barnes and Nobles and got a nice Bible for Travis.  We wrote in it and will give it to him tomorrow.  We went to Culvers afterward and picked up a burger for Bill, and Olive Burger for me, fries to split and we each got a Concrete Mixer.  We did the first lesson in our Discipleship book.  It's a very good book we are using.  I went to Bible Study at 6:30 at church.  Sat in the back row and left right when it was done.  Waved to some people on the way out, but didn't stick around.  Vikki B. sent me a video of Iain's band concert where he played the drums.  He did a good job, and I was happy to see him play.  Got the newsletter out for Faith Riders.  Sad to hear today that our friend who was in Faith Riders had another stroke.  Praying for him, his wife and their family.
