Ha ha, Peyton told Vikki she made a soap dispenser!  We thought of Jared and his dream where he was a soap dispenser and had another good laugh about it

I called Evan before we left for church to wish him Happy Birthday but didn't get an answer.  Melissa called me back a little while later and I got to sing to Evan and wish him a happy birthday.  He was very cute on the phone!

We went to prayer, then to church.  Peyton and Isaac sat with us, because Rody was doing sound and Vikki was having bad pains in her sides, so didn't come today.  Worship was awesome today!  Isaac went up front by the altar to worship during the last song.  He loves worship!  Pastor preached another great message today too.  We prayed for people after the service, then I had another elder, Chris and his wife and Bill pray for me for healing of this eczema. Following what the Bible says to do.  The youth were putting on a pancake and sausage breakfast after church to raise money.  Peyton and Isaac both worked at it and did a great job serving people.

We went to fill our cars with gas at Kroger and got our $1 off a gallon up to 35 gallons.  Sure saved a lot on our gas.  Got it for $2.59.  Bill headed to Kroger to collect money for the Marine Corp. League.  I headed home, but stopped at Aldi to get Almond milk.

I walked around the yard when I got home because the sun was out and it warmed up a little.  Things are sure growing nicely.  I talked to Vikki for a long time when I got in the house.  Texted lots with Stacie too.  She has Eczema and was very helpful with things to avoid and things to do.  Love that sweet girl!  She is always caring and such a blessing.

Bill and I took a nap.  When we woke up, we ate a bowl of soup and had a chicken salad sandwich with it.  Melissa called and invited us over for ice cream and brownies for Evan's birthday.  He didn't want cake this year.  Everything tasted delicious and we had lots of fun.
I gave Evan a pinch to shrink an inch, which he didn't like at all.  He opened his present from Melissa and Bruce and card from us.  He is having a party with friends, so will get the rest of his gifts from Bruce and Melissa then.  Hailey FaceTimed while we were there so I got to see and talk to her.  Melissa sent her phone out to the trampoline where he was and she wished Evan a happy birthday.

Bill played Jack in ping pong and Jack beat him.  Bill won the other 4 games.  He was amazed at how much Jack has improved since the last time they played.  Evan played him too and he has also improved lots.  This is their 50th day they have played since getting their ping pong table.  Evan showed us how he does flips on the trampoline.  Jack went out too and did flips.  We girls watched through the window and Papa went outside.  Brrr to cold for us.

We came home and did our Bible reading.  Then relaxed.

There was a car show too.  Bill took a picture of me standing by a 1967 Pontiac Lemans.  My first car was a 1968 Pontiac Lemans, only it was blue
Barb, Gayla and I by our biker friend at the Country Creamery.  We had to stop for ice cream.

Our nice surprise.  Vikki, Kimmy and Jacob stopped in to say hi to us when we were getting ice cream.  We were so happy we got to see him before he went to his Senior Prom.  It made our day.  Ha Ha, he even got to meet our friend that hemmed his suit pants.

We sure enjoyed eating our ice cream outside

Some of Jacob's Senior Prom pictures.  What a handsome grandson!!!

I love this picture of Kimmy and Jacob!  Such a special mom/son picture!

We got ready and then went to meet up with Faith Riders at Meijer to ride to the Maple Syrup
Festival.  It was 50 degrees out and had just stopped raining.  It warmed up and got in the 60's.
We ate yummy pancakes and delicious sausage, then walked around to all of the vendors and did some shopping.  I bought a crocheted bag holder which is really nice.  I talked to the lady selling it and she may come to our Street Party at BayShore this year to be a vendor there.  We also went to the car show which was really nice.  We all got very warm walking around.  We talked to some people about CMA and what the ministry does when we had opportunities.  Some headed home earlier than us, but we did a stop at the Country Creamery which is one of our favorite ice cream places.  We just had room for it to fill in the spaces.  It was in the 60's by then, so we sat outside.  I loved our great surprise of getting to see Jacob on his prom night.  It certainly made our day.  Thanks Kimmy and Vikki for bringing him.  We love seeing you too!  We came home and read our Bibles and relaxed in our recliners.  All that fresh air made us tired.

Fri, 4/28/23, Met Kimmy and Kenzie and went to garage sales, Vikki and the twins came after work/school, went to Vikki's, picked up Iain from his band party

Kenzie met Kimmy and I and spent the day going to garage sales with us.  We had so much fun hanging out together.

Kenzie brought me these two yummy cookies from the Owosso Cookie Company.  I shared with Bill of course.  Thank you Kenzie.  So delicious!
We found this MSU Flag for $4.  Kimmy got it for Jacob.  Then when she got home she found out he got one in the mail that MSU sent him.  Nice to have two though!   We were trying to find Hailey one for CMU
We saw this house with an MSU and a CMU flag both flying
Some nice CMU finds for Hailey we found

Jacob in his MSU sweatshirt Kimmy found
Peyton in her cute garage sale outfit.  Kenzie got the skirt for her.  I had a skirt just like that only red when I was a kid.
Vikki and Peyton eating homemade vegetable soup I made.
Isaac...he didn't want anything to eat
Vikki and Bill playing deer in the headlights.  I lost the first game and Bill won.  Vikki lost the second game and I won.  We had lots of fun playing.
Isaac and Peyton
I met Kimmy and Kenzie in Freeland and we headed to garage sales.  Kenzie gave me a box with two beautiful yummy cookies in it.  So sweet of her!  We walked around in the subdivision by the school first.  We found some nice things.  Kenzie brought us each an apple juice to enjoy on the drive.  We walked quite a ways to another subdivision, but the garage sales were pretty scattered.  We decided to go get the van and drive  around to them.  Kenzie was cute and pulled our carts part of the time.  She told us she called Uncle Jared's mom and how nice it was talking with her.

We went around noon to McDonalds and used their bathroom.  We ate lunch in their parking lot again.  We went back and did more shopping.  When Vikki got out of work and picked Peyton and Isaac up from school, they came and met us at Leaman's.  We all shopped together  until Kenzie had to go back to her car and leave.  Then Vikki, Peyton, and Isaac got in the van with Kimmy and I and we went to lots more garage sales.  We sure did find more when Vikki was with us.  She has the knack for finding things we miss.  Kimmy got a new pair of Skechers shoes like she has only in a different color.  She had walked right past them.  She got them for $2.  Great deal.  I found a wallet like we love.  Then Kimmy went to the same spot on a little table and found a cork board for Eli.  I had missed that.   We were happy with all of our finds.  We didn't run into Bruce and Melissa this time.  We talked later and found out we started on different sides of the river.

Kimmy had picked up Jacob's corsage for his date to the prom tomorrow night.  They had stuck a jewel right in the center of the main white flower.  We sure didn't like it, but thought maybe it's a new style.  It still bugged Kimmy, so when Vikki was with us, we all went in and took it back and the girl took the jewel off.  It sure looked better afterwards and Kimmy was much happier.

I left at 5 and Kimmy and Vikki went to more garage sales and found more stuff.  Vikki found me a really pretty plaque with green in it that matches my family room.  She surprised me with it.  While she was here, we had some soup and crackers.  Then we all left for her house and had our dessert there.  We had birthday cake (we chose to celebrate Melissa's and Evan's birthdays since it was in the middle of both ha ha). The birthday people were missing, but their cake and ice cream were sure delicious.  Bill brought the new game, Deer in the Headlights and we played two games with Vikki, and had fun.

We left there and went to pick up Iain from his Band Party at school.  He was so sweet and invited us to his band concert next week.  He thanked us and told us we were blessings.  Pretty nice for a 14 year old boy.

We came home, and put our helmets on.  Bill found a new helmet at a garage sale today with a build in Sena.  I already have one on my helmet, but not built in.  We had to pair the new one up.  It took a while.  Bill went out of the room and I read his directions and got it paired pretty quick.  I did pray, so that's why I got it.

My doctor called today and the biopsy showed I have Eczema.
