Kit Kat hasn't gone in her house for a few months.  She loved laying by it today though.

Kimmy did an amazing job staining the bookcase for Vikki

We met our new great niece Emma today.  She was so sweet and so beautiful!

Evan
Melissa had so much fun doing Just Dance on the Wii.  I did too, but I got tuckered out faster!
She is definitely good at it and had lots of energy too.  Compare her to the ones on the tv and she is doing the same motion.  Those are my feet in the resting position lol.
Hailey with her new boot.  Jack in the background!  Nice to see her able to walk on it so good.
Hailey and I ate M & M's and cashews.  The others were too full.

I read my Bible and did prayer time.  Ate my oatmeal and drank my coffee, then rode the stationary bike and walked on the treadmill.  Bill got home from coffee with Charlie and came down and rode the bike while I was on the treadmill.  I went upstairs and he got on the treadmill.

Vikki called and said Kimmy was at her house, so I headed there.  We visited for a while, then we headed to Habitat so we could take pictures of the table there and show it to Melissa to see if she liked it.  I dropped Vikki and Kimmy off at Vikki's and headed back home.  I took a short nap, then Kimmy called me and we talked for a while while she was on her way. home.  I had to hang up after a while because we had to go to Bill's cousin, Sonny's retirement party.  Shani and Steve sat with us.  We were happy to get to visit with them and eat by them.  Amanda was there with the baby, so we were happy to get to meet her and see Amanda.  Nice seeing Matthew, Debbie and Tom too.  Amanda went to fix a plate for Matthew, and the baby started crying.  Opa Tom unbuckled her and got her out of the car seat.  She calmed down right away and was so cute.  Amanda left pretty fast because it was so packed and so noisy and didn't want the baby upset. We left a few minutes later for the same reasons.  When we got home, Hailey, Jack, Evan and Melissa came for a visit.  Bill took Evan to get him a new ping pong paddle.  He was really happy.  Hailey, Melissa and I did Just Dance while they were gone.  Boy is that good exercise.  Hailey was great at it and Melissa was very good too.  Ended my day with 10, 484 steps. They left shortly after we were finished.  It was raining with thunder and lightening.  Melissa and Hailey let me know when they were home.  I was happy they were safe and sound.

Thurs., 3/30/23, Met Maddy at Biggby's, Went to Vikki's, Kimmy came too. Went to the Antique Mall, Went to Greg and Merijo's 50th wedding anniversary dinner

Me and Brielle at Biggby

Gail, Amy, Shield, Josie, Gabrielle, Jeremy and his girlfriend,  Merijo, Greg, Andy, Dennis, Dennis, and Bill
I found the smaller bowl that matches my great grandma Daisy's bowl we always use for the mashed potatoes on holidays.  Now there will be a bowl for the corn to match.

Met Maddy at Biggby to mentor her.  It was a good lesson on the Victory God has given us and how to overcome temptation.  We had such a good discussion today.  Brielle came along too and was so good as usual.  I love these girls God has put into my life.

After I was done, I went to Vikki's.  I relaxed on the couch in the sunroom with Lucy, while Vikki got ready.  Kimmy came about aa half hour later.  Isaac was up.  Peyton was still sleeping when I got there, but got up a little while later.  Eli was the last one up.  He stayed up until 4 a.m. so I could understand why he slept in.  We ate yummy chicken sandwiches with lettuce, cheese and tomatoes on them.  Thanks Vikki.  We all went to the Antique Warehouse and walked through after we ate.  It is a huge place and took a long time walking through it.  We all bought something.  I found a pretty matching bowl like my Grandma Daisy's.

We went back to Vikki's so I could get my car and head home.  They went to the Habitat for Humanity Store.  Bill and I had to be at Merijo and Greg's 50th Anniversary dinner at Spencer's.  The food was great, but expensive and Merijo had picked up cupcakes that were absolutely delicious from the Patisserie.  We had a fun time with lots of good friends.

I came home, did my blog and read my book.  I finished it.  It had a great ending.  So good!  Talked to Melissa.  Hailey was home and Melissa had called me to see if they could come over.  I called when I left the party and they decided to come tomorrow instead.

Wed., 3/29/23, Vikki and the kids and Kimmy and the kids came over and spent the day, went to an estate sale, hung out all day, Bill and the boys set up the foosball table at Vikki's

I held this round table I bought on my lap in Kimmy's van on the way to our house down the road.  I told Kimmy I was happy to have another steering wheel so I could help her drive lol!

Vikki, Kimmy and the kids all came over today.  Kimmy was sad because 18 of the fish she just got a little while ago died this morning.  We decided to go to an estate sale right after she got here.  It was at a $600,000 home down the road.  Bill and Isaac drove separate in the truck.  We thought the prices would be high, but they weren't.   I got a beautiful round table for $25, a beautiful wall hanging for $5, a beautiful trunk for $15, a nice tv stand for the basement for $10, a pretty glass jug container for $5, and a vase with a cute artificial plant in it for $2.  Bill got an electric bicycle for $95.  It is worth $600.

Kimmy saw a set of silverware she liked and wanted but didn’t get.    He asked me if we should get the silverware for Kimmy and I told him yes.  Bill told her he was going to the basement to look again.  We girls came home because I didn't want her to see him with it.  When Bill and the grandkids got home later he had me go out to the van where he had put it and bring in that silverware for Kimmy.  We were excited to look through it, but then realized there were only 3 big forks.  Vikki texted Mark McNight (he wasn’t in charge of this sale, but she knows him from other sales.  He told her you can’t return anything from an estate sale.  We prayed and decided to try anyway.  We walked in and a really nice lady working saw us and when she heard there were only 3 forks, she said do you want credit or cash.  She went and talked to the person who collected the money and he gave her the $25 and she gave it to Kimmy!  We were excited to see God make a way when there seemed to be no way.  He even cares about the little things!  Kimmy washed down the bicycle and tv stand, and afterward Vikki hooked up the tv in the basement.  We moved the chairs out farther too.  Jacob hooked the Wii up upstairs.

We ate bagels and cream cheese, macaroni and cheese, and Bill had left over chicken and rice.  No one else wanted that because Vikki told Kimmy that she read that rice has larva in it.  Bill and I are still eating it though.  So is Melissa.

Adam, Jacob and Isaac went with Bill to set up the foosball table at Vikki's.  Then he took them to Culver's.  They were happy when they came back.

The younger kids all played lots of ping pong. Papa played some games with them too.

Talked to Kenzie for a long time.

Tues., 3/28/23, The boys got up earlier today, Moved stuff out of the basement and into the basement, lots of ping pong games going on,

Papa gave the boys some tips for playing ping pong and played with them
These two played lots of ping pong today and are getting very good at it

Eli relaxing at the table, waiting for his turn to play Papa

Good food and lots of fun with these two when I took them to G's Pizza

My new sign originally said "You are so special".  Then I noticed a certain person had changed it to Are you so special.  Then after changing it back, it ended up saying this.  Can anybody guess who the certain person is?
Jared looks pretty guilty doesn't he.
Evan and Adam...Adam helped him with is computer
Me, Jacob and Kimmy during our game
Adam, Melissa and Bill on the other side of the table
Little cozy corner where Bill will mount the TV and will hook up the Wi so they can play the games they like

Started some laundry, emptied the dishwasher, ate my oatmeal and drank my coffee, then read our Bibles.  The boys got up at 9:45 which is early for them when they are here.  Of course they stay up very late too.  I read some Scriptures from the book of James to them.  Then Bill showed a 20 minute video clip he watched last night about the second coming of Jesus to them.  It was really good.  We had a good discussion about it afterward.

We all went down to the basement and Bill took the foosball table apart and the boys hauled it to the garage.  They also hauled up the bookcase and some totes of books.  I did some sweeping and vacuuming.  The boys picked up all of their nerf bullets.  They were both such a great help.  Were rearranged things then, and put chairs in a corner where Bill is going to mount the tv.

After that, the boys and Bill played lots of ping pong.  So nice that they have more room and there isn't a table behind them for the balls to go under.  These boys are learning to put spins on the ball and lots of other good moves.  Bill is a great teacher for them.

Bill ate the leftover chicken, mashed potatoes and noodles I brought home for him yesterday from Zehnders.  I took the boys to G's for pizza.  The boys loved the pizza!  We had ground beef and pepperoni with sesame seed crust.  We got a 16 inch pizza.  I ate 2 pieces and each boy ate 5 pieces.  We had nice discussions while we ate.  Eli told Jack about the Jacob's Choice book and how Jacob was his grandfather (he wasn't sure if great great or great great great.)

The boys played more ping pong, than they wanted to watch the movie, Encounter.  Good Christian movie with a great message.  I made popcorn and closed the curtains so it would be dark, then we all watched it.  Melissa and Evan came about a half hour before it was over.  Evan played on his computer at the kitchen table and Melissa sat with us.  Kimmy, Jared and the boys came and we all ate either baked chicken and rice casserole or pizza.  Jared took the boys to their fencing class.  Bill, Kimmy, Jacob, Adam, Melissa and I played partners in SkipBo.  It was girls against the boys.  The boys seemed to have all the good cards in their pile plus drew all the good cards.  Finally in the end Melissa and Kimmy had some really good hands and got our piles down low, but the boys won.  We sure had a good come back though.

We sure were missing Vikki and the kids.  We called her though and talked to her for a while and looked at some pictures she was sending us.

Happy Birthday to my BFF.  We celebrated our birthdays at Zehnders today and got our free family style dinner.  It was delicious!  It was so fun catching up with each other.  What a fun time!

I wished my Best Friend, Vikki a Happy Birthday right away.  Bill met Charlie for coffee.  He called me after they were finished so I could meet him at Kroger and we could fill up with gas and get our $1 off up to 35 gal.  Sure is a great savings.  We also went to the new car wash, and Bill drove my car through.  It's fast and gets it super clean.  Bill headed home, and I went to TJ Max before heading to Zehnders.  I got to Zehnders early and looked around.  I bought a slice of chocolate cake for Vikki to have for her birthday.  We met in the parking lot so we could park next to each other, and then went into Zehnders and checked in.  We got a table right away.  We sat in a room where there were only 2 other people, so we had a nice peaceful visit. The food was super delicious and lots of it.  We packed up the leftovers for Bill.  We had sundaes for dessert and sat and visited for a long time.  We said we were going to give to each others favorite charity instead of giving each other gifts, but she got me a pretty bracelet too.   Afterward, we walked around the gift shop downstairs and each bought a cute Michigan decoration with our 20 percent off coupon.  Then we went to Bronner's and walked through the store, bought an ornament and then picked up our free ornament.  We spent almost 4 hours together!  What a fun day!

I stopped at Vikki's afterwards to visit with her and Kimmy.   Peyton is feeling better, but stayed upstairs pretty much and didn't come by us.  It was comfy sitting in Vikki's sunroom. l laid on the couch and almost fell asleep.  We walked out and looked at Vikki's flowers coming up and then went across the street and looked in the windows of the house that just went up for sale.

Bill called and was taking Jack and Eli to a movie.  We quick looked up on Plugged In. com to read up about it and make sure it was ok for them to see.  It was, so we called Bill back and told him.  They brought some popcorn and pop back.

I left at 5:45, so I could get home to see Bill before he went to the elders meeting.  Eli and Jack were playing ping pong in the basement.  Bill left, and I made chicken tenders and French fries for Eli and Jack.  Kimmy and the boys stopped in and had some too.  So nice getting to visit more.  Eli and Jack wanted to spend the night again, so I told Kimmy it would be good since all their stuff is here and they have their fencing class tomorrow night.  She would be coming here anyhow.  The boys were super happy too!

They played ping pong most of the evening.  They sound like they are getting pretty good at it.  Bill got home and went downstairs with them for a while.  I read some on my book again.

Made coffee for Bill and I to take with us.  Jack and Connor slept in.  They stayed up until 2 watching a movie.  I went to bed after midnight last night.  Bill and I went to prayer, then into the church service.   It was another awesome message.  We prayed for people after church, then I had a Sunday School leaders meeting to go to and Bill left to go home and take the boys to Culver's.  My meeting lasted about an hour and was so good.  I went and picked Isaac up afterwards.  He came out to the car and we headed to McDonalds for a Nana Date.  Isaac was a gentleman and got the doors and had great manners.  We were happy they still had Shamrock Shakes.  Isaac didn't want anything else so we just got our shakes with Oreo's.  We sat and talked and he showed me some videos of kids playing the piano.  Isaac sounds much better than the ones he showed me!  We had a really fun time, and it's a good thing we went today because Vikki went there a little later and they were all out of Shamrock Shakes.  Poor Vikki and Peyton, lucky us!  I dropped him off at home and headed home.  I warmed up my Parmesan Chicken from yesterday and made some more noodles to go with it.  It was delicious.  The boys and I watched Hopevale's church service online.  It was really good too.

Brad and Jen rode their motorcycle over and came in for a few minutes.  Bill decided to ride our motorcycle with them to Delta.  Too cold for me!  Jared came a few minutes later and dropped Eli off.  The three boys had fun for a while and were cute to listen to.  Eli played the video of Jacob playing his clarinet at his concert the other night.  Connor was pretty impressed.  Bruce and Evan came to pick up Connor to take him home.  Eli is spending the night here with Jack.  Bruce visited for a few minutes and then they left.

Jack and Eli played some ping pong and had fun hanging out together.  Bill took a nap.  I got an early start on my blog.  Read on my book.  Almost finished with it.
