What a fun day!  Melissa and Bruce had their traditional get together and wonderful chili dinner with all the fixins.  They always make is so fun and so special.  The kids all looked great dressed up, and they all had lots of fun, even though it was Covid style this year.  Peyton said it was her best Halloween ever!  The Mulder family was able to make it again this year which was so nice.  Bill and I had to leave for an hour while we moved Jame's things to his mom's.  Mark Eisenlord helped, so it went pretty fast.  He didn't have much for us to move, just two truckloads and his mom's vehicle.  We went back to Melissa's and I had another bowl of yummy chili and she made me a delicious coffee.  YUM!  We visited for a while, then Kimmy and Jared had to pack up to go to Eli's soccer game, so we all left.  It sure was a wonderful day and the weather was perfect!  They had the fire pit going if we needed to warm up, but we were all set with the beautiful sunny day.  A nice change from what we've had for sure!  I love my family!

Friday, 10/30/2020, Walked 2 miles, got some groceries, swept off deck, made chili

Made turkey chili for my Kimmy for tomorrow at Melissa's

Love this out of our 21 days of breakthrough prayer devotion

The deck looks so beautiful after I swept it

Put my turkey parts in the pumpkin from my garden today
Thankful Thanksgiving is coming soon.  So much to be thankful for!
Tex passed away today.  He was the kindest person and a great friend.  He always would tell stories that would end up being jokes.  Heaven gained a special one today.

Bill met Charlie for coffee.  Love that he can be there for Charlie and encourage him while he goes through this hard situation.  I walked on the treadmill for 2 miles while I listened to Brandon Lake worship.  Amazing worship!  I came upstairs and worshipped more.  Put everything back in place in the living room.  Cleaned off part of the deck.  Read the Bible and my prayer devotion.  So good!  Face timed with Vikki so I could see Peyton's pumpkin Vikki helped her carve.  Pretty cute and a very happy pumpkin.  I went and got some groceries and things I needed.  I was happy Meijer wasn't too busy on a Friday and everyone was wearing masks.  I finished sweeping and bagging the leaves off the rest of the deck and also the pool deck.  It looks so nice!  Made turkey chili for my Kimmy (and I think Adam likes it too) for tomorrow when we go to Melissa and Bruce's to see the kids costumes and have chili there while social distancing.  Happy it's supposed to be sunny and not as cold.  Bill and I watched episode 6 of The Chosen.

Thursday, 10/29/2020, Did spelling and reading with Peyton and Isaac, Bill met his half brother, Gary for the first time, Shampooed living room,

Peyton and Isaac love getting online with their teacher and class

Evan played the piano for me on Face Time today.  He did a great job and it sounded so good.

Bill with his half brother, Gary, for the first time

Gary when he was in the service.  He was in Vietnam the same time Bill was.

He reminds us of Joey in these younger pictures!

I got up early so I could spend time with the Lord before the kiddos got up.  Peyton got up first, then Isaac.  We ate breakfast, and then Bill left to go to Flint to meet his half brother.  He has stage 4 lung cancer and wanted to meet Bill, so contacted him.  Peyton got all of her spelling words right the first time today.  She was so happy.  Isaac only missed 3 and learned them really quickly.  They read the next book Melissa lent us, Secret Agent.  They loved it.  Peyton didn't want to quit reading it.  Next I read Little House on the Prairie to them, then they read the Picture Bible to me.  We read about Joseph saving lives during the famine and how his brothers came to him and bowed before him like his dream.  Joseph tested them to see if their hearts had changed and saw that they had.  Such a great story! We finished our game of 3-13.  I had 79, Peyton had 100 and Isaac at 89.  We were all close and the last hand decided who was to be the winner.  Vikki picked them up and was super tired from working hard, so left to go home right away.  I ate lunch and then shampooed the living room carpet. It looks so nice now.  Bill got home and said it went well with his half brother.  He was able to talk to him and his son in law about Jesus, and both of them confessed Jesus as their Lord and Savior.  Bill gave him a Bible to have so he could read it.  (I made sure he took one with him when he left).  I talked to Melissa for a long time and enjoyed watching Evan do his typing for online school.  Then he played chopsticks on the piano and Melissa played with him.  It sounded so good.  Then he wanted to just play his part for me.  I loved it!

Wed., 10/28/2020, Bill had surgery clearance appt.at VA, Cleaned house, Vikki brought kids to spend the night

Max lowering a bucket of bricks down to Jack.  Jack waiting below.  Once a brick came rolling off the roof and Bruce yelled for Jack to run.  Yikes!  Jack learned to stay back until he got the all clean signal.  Of course Melissa and I were praying!!!  She called me to let me know to pray, so we prayed together on the phone.  It was cute because when I was talking to Kimmy later, the boys were in the background and said, We should go help them and get it done fast for them.  They didn't think about Covid and how they can't get close to them right now.  I thought that was so sweet.  Our family is such a blessing to each other

Evan was inside doing schoolwork.  Max came to say hi through the window.  Evan was so happy.  they are so cute!

Before they saw Melissa taking the picture they were looking at each other and putting their hands together on the window.  She said it was really sweet.

Lots of soot on the carpet.  The shelves by the fireplace, window sills, and registers were all covered too.  I had to take everything off the shelves and wash it all down.  Big job!

Carpet right after shampooing it.  So much better!

I started cleaning the house.  Bill went to meet Charlie before having his bloodworm at the VA and then his Surgery clearance appt. there at 11.  They told him he didn't pass his EKG and has three blockages.  He has to go for further testing at Covenant when they get it set up.  I laid hands on him right away and prayed for him when he got home and told me.  I also let the girls know so they can be praying.  We know how powerful prayer is.  He mowed the lawn while I shampooed the family room carpet. Got everything cleaned except tomorrow I will mop the floors and shampoo the living room carpet.  This shampooer is amazing.  Did Day 3 of our 21 days of Breakthrough Prayer.  So good!  Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac to spend the night.  She brought me some of her chicken alfredo to try.  It was delicious.  When Vikki got home, she called and talked to the kids and played a game on her phone with them.  They had so much fun.  We watched The Dick Van Dyke show, and then they got ready for bed.  I read the picture Bible to them and then we prayed and I tucked them in.  We have such sweet grandkids!

A hunting we will go.  Bill is hungry for turkey! He's going out to our woods to try to get one
Took this of Bill, but I thought it was kind of cool how it looks like lights are hanging from the pergola.  I didn't notice the dining room light was reflecting in the picture while I took it

Great picture of Jared on his new lawn mower. Nice tractor for sure and an amazing person sitting on it!

Bill and I got up, and shortly after Peyton got up and asked who was making all the noise.  Of course I said Papa ha ha.  Isaac came down about 15 minutes later.  We ate breakfast.  Isaac ate a bowl of cheerios with Kimmy and Jared's honey on it and a bowl of oatmeal.  He's a growing boy!  We made ground bologna after that.  They thought it was fun getting a handful when it came out of the grinder.
We did our spelling.  They both missed the same amount on their spelling test. They wrote their words, and then new them after that. They got online with their teacher and class at 12:10.  She's such a nice teacher.    We did our reading after that.  They finished their book about the Shipwrecked Pirates.  They didn't want to stop reading it.  They are reading some big words really good now.  I started reading Little House on the Prairie to them, and they read the Picture Bible to me.  We played 3-13 and had some chicklate chops.  Our new name for chocolate chips because Peyton accidentally called them that.
Vikki came after work, and we ate ground bologna sandwiches.  Isaac wasn't hungry, so didn't eat with us.  Kimmy, Adam and Eli came and spent time with us while Jared took Jacob to the dentist to have a filling put back in the tooth he lost one out of.  They came here when done and they opened the surprise bag we brought back from our trip for them.  After that, we all went outside and put stuff away for the winter.  Jacob and Adam were amazing and were such a great help getting the heavy stuff so Bill didn't have to with his sore shoulder.  They are always so willing to help.  Kimmy, Jared, and Vikki helped us too.  Then they all helped to get the inflated ball in the center of the pool and got water all around it so it would stay put.  What a great help they all were.  Thank you all very much.  We love you so much!  Such a fun day!
