Wed, 8/31/22, Left for BayShore at 10:30, Enjoyed a peaceful and beautiful day there

All set up at BayShore for our CMA State Rally!  Bill has worked hard planning it and the Street Party. God has led and blessed him the whole time!

We went into town to the Cutest Button Boutique because I won a $25 gift card there.  It is such a cute shop with lots of beautiful things.  I bought a few cute things.
Bill relaxing

Billon the golf cart they gave him to use because he helps out so much here.
Bill having a hot fudge sundae and me having my free Micha Frappe at McDonald’s.  The red barn was closed so we couldn’t get our ice cream there.

So nice watching the beautiful sunset with Doug and Sue

Selfie we took with Doug and Sue

Kit Kat caught another vole and put it on the front porch.  Nice to see the pests she’s catching.  I gave her some yummy soft food for being such a good kitty.  Vikki surprised me on her way to Kimmy’s and stopped in to give me a big hug goodbye.  That made my day!  Kimmy called before we left and I got to talk to her for quite a while.  That made me happy.  She told me they sold their tractor! Yay!
We packed the last minute stuff, then left at 9:30.
Bill did great driving the toy hauler.  I love how easy it is to set up inside and out.  We decided we had room for the clan, so we put it up.  We are pretty fast at it now.  We ate sandwiches for lunch, then went to we Aliza in the office. We also saw Hailey’s friend, Dustin.  We went for a walk around the campground and greeted a few friends who came early like us.  We sat outside and relaxed.  Went over to Wes and Gayla’s camper they left here and Bill plugged it in and I went in and turned the refrigerator on for them, so it’s nice and cold when they bring the food for it tomorrow.  Gayla called me to see if I would do that.  We walked around the campground, then picked up the cart Dave brought up for us.  We went for a drive in it and planned out where everything will go for the Street Party.  We ate chili I made yesterday.  We walked out on Roberta’s Walk to watch the sunset with Doug and Sue. It was absolutely beautiful!  We stopped to talk to Carol and Phil by their campfire, then came back to our camper to play 3-13.  Bill won by a few points.  It was a close game the whole time!  I texted Hailey to let her know we are at her favorite place.  She texted back that she wished she was here, and that things are going great at college. I texted Melissa too and all of her boys had a great day at school today. Kimmy said her boys did too, and Vikki said Peyton and Isaac did. It’s going to be a great year for these precious grandkids I’m praying for and love so much!

Tues., 8/30/22, Happy 19th Anniversary Kimmy and Jared, Happy Birthday Angie and Jody, Busy day...I did even take any pictures!

Got up early and worked on putting stuff in the freezer and refrigerator.  Bill took out the garbage and then went for coffee with Charlie.  Bill has been so busy with planning the State Rally, plus mowing the yard and picking the grass up, sharing Jesus with people, washing his motorcycle, printing off lots of stuff for the rally this week, plus so much more.  I don't know how he does it all, plus is so sweet to me.  I played lots of good worship music all day.  I had a super busy day today. I filled the cat food dispenser and gave her fresh water for the week, baked butter horns and chocolate chip cookies for the bake sale for Run for the Son we are doing at the rally, made chili for our camping trip, washed Bills truck window and a really dirty window on the outside of the camper.  I also took Meredith to work, which ended up being a big part of the day since her mom didn't tell me to pick her up from school and didn't let me know what time she got out of school, plus a lot of other missing details.  I finally got her though, and we had a nice visit while driving.  When I got home, I labeled baggies and put goodies in them so they are all packaged up for the sale.   I talked to all of the girls, wished Kimmy and Jared a happy anniversary (after Kimmy mentioned it this morning).  I would have remembered eventually because my sister and Bill's sister both have birthdays on their wedding anniversary.  I was happy to hear from her.  They were driving through Amish country, which is always fun.   Max's day went really great at school.  I am so happy about that.  All the kids at his table like each other he said.  Bill and I emptied the backroom of the camper and rolled the carpet up, then he drove the motorcycle in, and we hooked it down.  Then we put the stuff back in. I went to go in the main door, and it wouldn't open.  This was a bummer because I had locked the sliding glass door.  I prayed right away, because last time that happened, I was with Vikki and the screen door latch dropped down, so the door wouldn't open.  We had the back of the camper open,  so Bill noticed the sliding glass door had a lock on it.  He put his key in, but couldn't get it open.  I tried and pushed the door toward the kitchen and it unlatched.  Were we ever happy.  How wonderful to be able to use a key.  Read my Bible.

8/29/22, Max, Eli, and Jacob had their first day of school today. Busy day picking garden, washing and delivering veggies, packing camper, shopping for camping trip,

Eli's first day in 7th grade
Jacob's first day in 12th grade
Max's first day in 11th grade.  Vader's first day with him at school!

Eli and Jacob...Eli is 12 and Jacob is 17.  Same height....both are tall
Vader is Max's beautiful, smart service dog!

Peyton and Isaac with Lucy.  This is the only picture I took today.  It was raining when I stopped at Melissa's.  I tried to yell and have Jack come back out by the garage so I could take a picture of him, but he didn't hear me.  The rain stopped by the time I got to Vikki's after stopping at Jack's and Aldi to get groceries.  It actually got sunny out.

I weeded the flower garden,  picked the veggies in the garden in the morning, washed the veggies and let them dry.  Lots of tomatoes, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, and 1 green pepper.  I bagged some up for Lisa and her mom from church, Charlie and Sue and Vikki.
Bill was going to take the motorcycle to Sebewaing, but I checked the weather and saw it was supposed to storm.  I had him take my car instead.  I packed and got some things out in the camper.  I decided to wait until he got home so I could take the car grocery shopping.  I called him and he was going to be here in an hour.  He called me when he got to Saginaw and told me he was going to stop and fill my car up for me.  I was happy to hear that.  So sweet.  When he got home, it looked like it was going to storm out.  I checked and there were severe thunderstorm warnings until 5:30.  Bill didn't want me going out when it could storm (I didn't want to either)  I waited and left when the warnings were over.  I dropped off Lisa's veggies, then stopped and dropped off kale and and shoe insert Jack had left here, then went to Jack's.  I went to Vikki's and dropped her veggies off, then went to Aldi before it closed, and then to Kroger.  Kimmy called me while I was in Aldi to see how Max's day went.  I had texted Melissa earlier just to see how his day went.  He had a great day.  Kimmy and I were both happy that he did great.  The store was almost ready to close, so I told Kimmy I would call her back.  She was playing bed wars with the boys, so told me I didn't have to.  I sure wish I would have.  I wanted to hear how the boys first day went.  When I got home, I drove right back to the camper and unloaded the groceries we are taking with us.  Kit Kat wanted to come in with me, but I told her no cats allowed.  She scratched on the door and I gave her a spray of water.  That took care of that.  I messaged with Kenzie today. Got my goodnight text from Adam.  Made butterhorn dough so it can be in the refrigerator overnight like it says.  Read my Bible after that and then did my blog.  It's 1:01 and I am going to bed.

He liked the lights too.  He got a $50 gift card to Outback from Charlie and Sue and a card telling him to take me out to dinner (Yay).  He got a gift card for Denny's from Stacie, DJ and Kody...he loved that too.  He got a $50 Olive Garden Gift card from Diane and James at church too.  We will be eating good in the neighborhood!

Bill opening the grill cover from Melissa, Vikki and Kimmy and families.  DJ in the background.  Bill sure needed a grill cover (ours just spit down the side)  and was very happy.

We went to prayer and then into the church service.  Worship was awesome and Pastor gave the best message.  Life changing!!!  After church, Kimmy, Jared and the boys, and Vikki, Rody and the kids came over.  Kimmy and Jared brought pizza and I warmed up all the pizza left over from yesterday.  We ate and then Kimmy worked more on Vikki's car.  She wanted to get done before everyone else came over.  Melissa, Bruce and the kids came over , Kenzie came and Stacie, DJ and Kody came.  Charlie and Sue came over too.  We celebrated Bill's birthday and had cake and ice cream.  I had Vikki and Kimmy take cake and ice cream orders, then Kimmy dished up cake and I added the kind of ice cream they wanted.  Stacie took it to the person who order the kind on the plate.  It was a good system!
We hung out all day and sat on the deck visiting.  It sure was a nice day and we were sure happy to have everyone here.  Everything was picked up upstairs, outside and in the basement and it looked like I had just cleaned the house.  We are blessed with the best family and friends!  Sure do love them all.

Bill and I answered some questions Adam needed from another generation for his class.  Kimmy and Jared answered for their generation.  After that, we relaxed in our loveseat recliners.

We sat in chairs watching Kimmy bondo Vikki's car and visiting
Evan...it was dark out and my camera does a weird timing thing...doesn't turn out clear

Jacob and Adam slept in.  I got ready for the shower, then wrapped the gift and filled out the card.  Bill went with Faith Riders to Owosso for their Vintage Bike show.  Jared brought Kimmy, and picked up Jacob and Adam.  I had given the boys a treat, so I gave Eli a Kit Kat Bar when he came.  Kimmy and I left to pick up Vikki and Peyton and headed to Frankenmuth for Amanda's baby shower.  Melissa stopped in at the shower to tell Amanda hi but couldn't stay.  Shani sat with us at our table which was nice.  Amanda got lots of nice things for the baby.  The food was really good and the cupcakes and special cookies were too.  After the shower, we stopped at Vikki's and planted the mum Peyton won at the shower.  Kimmy, Peyton and I went to Lowes and got Bill's birthday present from her, Vikki and Melissa.  Vikki drove to my house and then we got there shortly after.  Kimmy worked on the other side of Vikki's car fixing it.  We sat and visited with her.  Peyton and I headed to Costco's so I could get Bill's birthday gift.  She was fun to shop with and look at things.  We got a famous Costco hotdog and a drink when we were done.  When I got home, he was out in the shed, so I put the gifts down in the basement so he wouldn't see them.  Melissa and Evan came over to visit while Kimmy worked on the car too.  Peyton and Evan had fun playing together.  I baked a birthday cake for Bill after everyone left.  Tomorrow we celebrate his 74th Birthday. I sure am thankful God gave him to me.
