3/29/17...Went to Sportzone and walked, Eli tripped and went to the ER,ran some errands, taught kids care groups

My sweetie Eli tripped at school, and Kimmy had to take him to the ER.  He needed 3 stitches and had to have shots to numb it.  He was very brave!

He did good getting his stitches and got this cute stuffed dog at the hospital.  He sure looks happier in this picture!  He thought he was pretty cool once he had his stitches.  He must be trying to be like Evan! Ha Ha!  Our boys need to wear helmets I guess
The foam blocks each had one word from our memory verse.  The kids took turns finding the next word in the verse and building a tower until the whole scripture was said.  They sure did a good job!

I just told Gigi not to stick her tongue out and I got home and Peyton's tongue was out.  That girl!

Couldn't decide what picture to put on so put both on

Isaac, Aleiyah, and Morgan with the tower they build.  Aleiyah put her cross necklace on it.

Got up early and walked at Sportszone.  I talked to Bill and the three guys at his table there and he told me he walked 3 miles in 4 minutes and challenged me to do it.  I usually walk fast, but this was top speed.  While I was walking this guy who walks really fast passed me and turned around to tell me he liked my shirt that said living free to worship him!  He stayed about a half a lap ahead of me.  Finally on my next to the last lap, he caught up to me.  I said, You must be a believer in Jesus and he said he was a firm believer.  Then he shared that he was from Hemlock, graduated in 2000.  He was directing traffic at his house for a graduation/engagement party when a car hit him.  They pronounced him dead.  They took him to the hospital by ambulance and he said the ambulance drivers saved his life.  He was in the hospital for around a year.  He was always supposed to be in diapers and never walk.  He is a walking miracle.  I can't even keep up with him!  I shared the miracle God did for Melissa.  We were both rejoicing in our awesome God.  I walked 3 miles in 45 minutes too!  Wouldn't want to walk that fast all the time.  Came home and read my Bible and spent time with the Lord!  Went to Baby's r us, the Family Book Store (still have lots of nice stuff and good deals and will be open for another 8 weeks)  Got a gift for Cathy and Tim when they redo their vows Saturday.  Dropped some stuff off at Goodwill.  I got a text from Kimmy, and Eli had tripped at school and fell.  My poor sweetie had to get 3 stitches, but was very brave.  He got free hot chocolate and donuts after from Tim Horton's.  That was nice of the worker there.  I was happy to get to go teach my class tonight.  It was a great lesson on forgiveness.  Love the curriculum we are using now.  Joan, Tina, Chris, Pat and I were talking in the hallway and Stacie came up and told me how they miss being in our care group.  That our care group made them feel like they were at home. She was so sweet!

3/28/17...Woke Hailey and Peyton up, Went to breakfast, Had care group

Our selfie

I woke Peyton and Hailey up with a song.  Prayed over Hailey and then prayed over Peyton.  They got up and got ready to go to breakfast.  The girls both got hot chocolate.  Hailey got 2 huge pancakes (she couldn't eat both so papa ate one).  Couldn't believe she is like her papa and doesn't put syrup on her pancakes.  Peyton got two pieces of French toast. I ate one of hers because she could only eat one.  We had fun and everyone was happy to see them and commented on how beautiful they are.  Vikki came to Sullivan's to show dad a light that came on in her car and picked Peyton up while she was there.  She was low on oil so he put oil in and her light didn't come on again.  Thanking God for that!  I took Hailey home and went in to see the kids.  Got lots of hugs!  Even Livia came up and wanted a hug.  She was happy to see me and was so cute.  I was happy to see her too.  Went to Kroger's and got gas, and then went to Aldi's and got some candy for Easter baskets.  Cleaned the kitchen and bathroom when I got home.  Made dip for snack for care group.  Peeled Clementines, made little sausages in sauce, and cut up veggies too.  We had a great care group.  Beth and Tyler came and talked to us about their plans to go to Indonesia.  They were so cute and we sure enjoyed having them.  We all prayed over them before they left.  Marie and Roy came a half hour late.  They forgot care group started at 6:30 not 7.  We were happy to have them back.

3/27/17...Vikki Eddy's Birthday, Vikki and Peyton came over, Peyton and Hailey spent the night

Happy Birthday to my best forever friend Vikki!  I messaged her right away this morning!
We are celebrating our birthdays in April.  I ordered her present today on line.
Peyton made this cool castle.  She had fun playing with the foam blocks

So much fun playing Sorry with Hailey and Peyton.  Hailey won and Peyton came in second.

The girls are winning jewels while playing Pretty Pretty Princess.  I won this game though because I got the crown and they couldn't get it away from me.

Princess Hailey with her crown and jewels
Love this cute happy picture of Princess Peyton

Making cards.  Hailey doesn't think her mom will know what the letters stand for, but I do

Finished Cards

The girls had snacks while they watched Lady and the Tramp

I went to Sports Zone and walked for 3 miles.  Bill had to go for bloodworm at 6 and then had four appointments at the VA hospital.  Physical,  X-rays on his finger and knee.  He had a busy morning.
When he got home, Vikki, Isaac and Peyton came over for him to drill a hole in a piece of wood she is using for a dog run.  Peyton wanted to spend the night.  She wanted Hailey to spend the night with her so we called and Hailey is coming too. Peyton and I stopped at Aldi's and Peyton asked me if I could get a surprise for Hailey.  She picked out cheese puffs and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups for her.  Went and got Hailey and picked up Taco Bell for her and a lemonade.  She was so happy!  She loves Taco Bell's Nacho Bell Grande.  I had made homemade vegetable soup so I had that.  I had chicken strips in the refrigerator I had to make and that is what Peyton wanted.  She had a chicken strip and a baked potato and ate the whole thing.  Good little eater.  We played Sorry and Pretty Pretty Princess and then made cards.  Peyton made a card for her mom and dad, Hailey made one for her mom and I made one for Isaac.  We watched Lady and the Tramp after that.  When it was over, I read Miss Suzie the Squirrel to Peyton while Hailey watched a movie more for her age.   Peyton loved the story and I had fun reading it to her.  I read "Jesus Calling" to her too.  I tucked her in and she said she missed her mommy and daddy.  She cried for a minute and then I gave her a quilt grandma bought for Kenzie when she was little.  That made her happy and she also asked me to give her a stuffed animal to sleep with.  She picked a little bear.  She fell right asleep after that.  Hailey went to bed after her movie was done.  Both girls want to go to breakfast tomorrow so I am looking forward to taking them with us.

3/26/17...Went to the Army Reserve's this morning. Bill had a message ready to preach, but ended up not having to

We got up early to go to the Army Reserve Center.  Had a good turn out of guys.  They are so nice and my heart is always touched when I go there.  Our church does a service once a month.  Christine fell off a stool and down some garage steps, so was in a lot of pain and couldn't come.  Praying for her.  Doug Szcepanski gave his testimony of when he was a gunner in Iraq and got attacked by a suicide bomber.  His thumb got blown off, half of his face got blown off and he lost sight in one of his eyes and was badly burned.  He prayed and knew God was with him.  He is a miracle; shouldn't even be alive, but God has a purpose.  He is giving his testimony lots now and helping many people, especially servicemen and vets.  The guys were really interested in hearing his testimony and had lots of questions afterward, so dad didn't get to share his message. He was happy though and had told Doug to take as much time as he needed.  After that we pray for any of the guys/girls who need prayer.

3/25/17 Went to Bikers for Change and then came back and went to the Field and Stream Dinner

Went to Bikers for change and were challenged to let the Light of Jesus shine through us

Our new National Evangelist giving the message

Came back early to go to Field and Stream Dinner at Horizon's with some of our friends
Dorthy, Gary, Debbie and Al

Dick and Bill....Dick is in his 80's and was happy he won a fishing pole.  He also won a metal detector.  His dad used to cut Grandpa Adam's hair.  It's a small world!  Bill and I didn't win anything, but we didn't buy many tickets

Sue, Charlie, Kenny, Kitty and Dorothy.

We got up and left early so we could stop at Tim Horton's on our way to Jackson for Biker's for Change.  We got a donut and muffin for our breakfast, plus our coffees.  It rained a little bit, but never heavy so was glad about that. Wes and Gayla called and said they couldn't come because Wes
hurt his foot and could hardly stand on it.  We got to the church where it was held and had 12 of us that came.  Good turn out so we were happy.  The church has their own group like boy scouts, so they served us taco's and nacho's for dinner for a donation.  It was really good.  Good desserts too.
We left at 2:30 so we could get back in time to go to the Field and Stream dinner at Horizons.  The food was delicious there!  We had fun at our table with friends.  Vikki got Mocha last night so I didn't have to worry about her.  She is always so good about watching her for me.  Thank you so much Vikki.

3/24/17...Kimmy and Vikki came over and spent the day. We went to Amy and Dennis's house to celebrate his birthday

Amy playing the watch your mouth game to show us how it's done.  Her daughter, Jalene, was giving her the words.  Dennis with his eyes closed.  We celebrated his birthday!  None of the rest of us wanted to put one of those things in our mouths, so we played 3-13 instead

Kimmy and Vikki came over.  Kimmy spent lots of time texting the dog breeder trying to get her deposit back.  Finally in the afternoon, the breeder told her she would send the deposit back to Kimmy.  Thank you Lord!  We sure prayed.    Went outside for a while because it was such a nice day.  67 degrees was the high.  Took Mocha to Vikki's for her to watch for me tomorrow.  Stopped at Jacks and got meat and bread.  Came home and got ready to go to Dennis and Amy's to celebrate his 45th birthday with Jeff and Debbie Davis and Dennis Watkins, and Jalene.  We had a great time.  She had chicken and ground beef soft shelled tacos for us to make up, and yummy dip and chips.  Cheesecake and lemon poppy seed muffins for dessert which were delicious.  Then we played 3-13 and had lots of fun and lots of laughs.

3/23/17 Caught up on the mail. Balanced the check book too. Vikki and Kenzie came over to visit, Picked Peyton and Isaac up from school

Isaac and Peyton had fun on the trampoline

They loved being outside and playing on the swings and with sticks.  They cleaned off the sticks that were on the trampoline for me.
Isaac, Nana, Peyton, Kenzie and Lenny

Love this picture of Norman and Lenny with Kenzie.  Sure do miss Norman

Kenzie and Peyton in the cat shirts

Got up and got things done around the house and then caught up on the mail and balanced the checkbook.  Sue came over and dropped my birthday present off.  She got me a motivational book and a homemade big bar of good scented soup.  Vikki and Kenzie came to visit before their dentist apps.  So happy to see Kenzie and get my hug from her.  Gave her the shirt we got her and also a couple of shells she liked.  They left to go to their appt. and I went and picked Peyton and Isaac up.  We had cookies when we got home, then we went out and jumped on the trampoline.  The kids picked up the sticks and leaves on it for me.  They had fun with that and then went on the swings for a while.  Isaac picked up lots of sticks in the yard.  Vikki and Kenzie came back and neither one had any cavities.  Happy News.  After they left, we got ready and went to the theatre to pick up the popcorn to take to the Rescue mission for our Movie night.  When I was in Florida I had messaged Luis and asked him to go to the theatre and order it for me.  We order it ahead and give them a newsletter.  They always donate it for this.  Well, he didn't order it!  They were really nice and asked me if I could wait for 20 min. for them to get it ready.  Well after 20 min, they had a very large garbage bag full to the top of popcorn.  The guy even carried it out to the car for me.  We got a call on our way to the Rescue Mission from Wes and Gayla that the Rescue Mission didn't know about movie night tonight.  They guys were all watching the Michigan game in another room.  We were cancelling it, when all of a sudden lots of guys started coming to see it.  We handed out the popcorn and grape drink and while Wes and Bill got the DVD going, Brian talked to the guys.  The remote wasn't working and there weren't any buttons to use on the DVD player so we watched 8 previews that played.  Then after all that, we couldn't play it because there was no play button.  We canceled it and all of the guys were very nice about it.  They were happy they got popcorn.  What a night!  We did get to pray with one of the guys so that was good.  We took the popcorn to Melissa's because Bill though she might want to take it to school because there was so much.  We opened it up and she and the kids had some.  They were sooooo happy.

Adam and his sheep

Hans got out and was separated from his mom by a fence. When we got out there, Kimmy and Adam got Hans who was going along the fence trying to get to his momma.  The mom was bleating because she wanted her lamb with her too.  When they were put back together Hans drank her milk like crazy.  He went from one side to the other, got on his knees, and had milk dripping from his mouth.  So funny.  Poor thing looked like the was starving.

Clarence and Oscar

Jacob, me, Adam and Eli. The boys have their shirts we got them in Florida on and are holding their alligator pencils.  They gave us great hugs!  I was so glad to see them!

Isaac and Peyton got free passes for a half hour at Sky Zone because they each read 5 books to their teacher.  Proud of these kiddos!
Nora giving Bill a cup of tea

Nora finally started liking Lenny a little

Vikki came over and Kimmy came too and spent the day.  Melissa was watching Nora so we decided to go to her house and hang out.  Nora was so cute and smart.  Lots of fun.  We all ordered take out from Applebee's for lunch.  Melissa and I got the Oriental Chicken Salad and it was delicious.
Kimmy got chicken strips and Vikki got a hamburger quesadea (spelling wrong)  We saw Stacie at the restaurant.  She had seen us coming and came and acted like a hostess.  She was so cute.
She wanted us to sit with her and her friend, but we told her we were picking up our food
Melissa's house looks beautiful with the new carpet, furniture and all the renovations.  Love it.  It was comfy sitting and visiting on her new furniture.  Bill came over for a while.  He brought Kimmy and I home so Vikki could just go from Melissa's to get the kids.  I went to Kimmy's with her and we waited for the boys to get off the bus.  I put my hood up thinking I would surprise the boys but Adam knew it was me right away because I had Mocha on my lap.  Dead give away!  We were excited to see each other and when we got to Kimmy's we got lots of good hugs.  Gave the boys their shirts and they tried them on right away.  They look great in them.  Such handsome boys and getting so tall  We walked out by their sand fort.  It's pretty cool.  Jacob caught his chicken and brought it out there but it got away.  Boy did he ever run fast bring to catch it.  Adam finally dove on it and got it.  The lambs were really cute.  Hans had gotten out of the pen and was walking along the fence by his mom on the other side of the fence.  She was bleating.  When Kimmy put him back in, he drank so fast and even got down on his knees.  He went from one side to the other and wanted to keep drinking but his momma had had enough.  He must have gone through the gate.  Pretty soon he will be too big to do that.  Jared made sloppy joes that were really delicious.  We sailed the toys submarine.  It took us a few tries but we finally got it to work.  We had a really fun time.

3/21/17...Came home, Vikki and the twins came over, I went to Melissa's, went to care group

Evan before and after his stitches.  He thought he was pretty cool after and was excited!

Ate a big breakfast at our hotel.  Our room was amazing.  Bill drove all the way home.   I was so excited to get home and see everybody.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over when they got out of school.  Got lots of hugs.  Gave them their shirts and had them try them on for the pictures.  They look so cute in them.  Bill rested while I went to Melissa's!  So happy to see them too and got lots of hugs.  They tried their shirts on too and looked cute in them.  After I left, Evan got hit by a broken Light Saber and they took him to Med Express.  They sent him to the ER for stitches.  We were praying and went to Care Group and had them pray with us too.  He did really good and got 5 stitches.  Melissa said everybody was super nice and made Evan comfortable talking about Star Wars.  He didn't want stitches, but didn't even notice when the doctor started them.  Didn't need a shot either.  The stuff they put on it stayed on long enough to numb it.  I can't wait to see Kimmy and her family tomorrow!
