Went to Bible study at 7 a.m.  It was on prayer.  We had to pair up with someone we don’t know we’ll.  Kathy Wheeler from Cadillac is who I paired up with.  She leads the worship here and is a music teacher.  An interesting fact about her is she loves Christmas and puts up 35 Christmas trees in her Victorian home.  WOW!  Elaine, Barb, Bill and I went to the dining hall for breakfast.  It was super delicious!  We went to the service afterward. It was very good.  Ziggy played his guitar and sang a song he wrote.  It was really good.  I went to and informative meeting about the wonderful mission of Run for the Son and learned lots to pass to Bill and Sabrina who couldn’t be there.  Cheryl, Arnie, Beemer’s, Daryl, Greg, Luis and Eva came up for the day.  We had a great time hanging out!  We went on a CMA group ride that Bill and Wes set up.  It was so much fun!  37 bikes went from here and we ended up at the Dairy Barn for a bike blessing Bill did and then had ice cream.  Came back and went to a potluck Trinity Riders was having.  Played 3-13 with Wes, Gayla, Barb, Elaine, And Bill in the hospitality room. I won this time!

Fri., 8/30/19...A great day at BayShore Camp

Welcome by Wayne in the tabernacle

Gayla and I helped set out shirts and hang vests, coats, etc. up in the Goodies Store

Camping with our good neighbors, Wes and Gayla. Shared shade and shared picnic tables
It took a few minutes, but I finally got the timer on my phone camera going and ran to my seat to get this picture at our campsite

It was Mike Dewey's birthday so we took him a cake.  Others saw us heading there and joined us.  He and his wife Gail are the past State Coordinators for Michigan
Run for the Son facts on a table at the Rally.  I love Run for the Son and what it does for Missions

Don brought War Room up and spent the day with us.  Elaine and Barb came up too.  They set the motorcycle campers up next to us.  The National Evangelist asked us to be State Reps.  We are praying about it. Went to Goodies and spent the gift cards they gave us for donating to Run for the Son.  We got some shirts and some gifts to hand out for drawings at our chapter meetings.  Also balloons to hand out to kids.  Ate chicken in the dining hall.  Gave Jonah who has Down Syndrome a ride on our golf cart out to the campfire.  His dad walked out and joined us and carried Jonah's walker.  Jonah was so sweet and called us his friends.  He reminded me exactly of Bill’s brother Kenny.  That was the highlight of my day.  His dad was so nice too.  We gave them both a ride back.  The mosquitos were bad and mosquito spray was supposed to come, but it was too windy.  We played cards with Barb in our camper.  Bill won!

Thurs. 8/29/19...Went to BayShore for our CMA State Rally

Wes, Gayla and I were driving back to the campground and saw this doe and two fawns on BayShore property we drove by

They stayed there for the longest time while we stopped and watched them

I had to spread Bill's wet papers all over the camper to dry.  The ceiling fan sure helped dry them.

Bill and I got gas at Kroger.  We only had $20 cents off a gallon because we were gone most of the month.  Next month we get 70 cents off.  Went to Melissa’s and picked the kids up and took them to school.  Bill went to get his stress test done.  I packed while he did that. We left around noon.  I drove the truck and pulled the camper and Bill led the way with the motorcycle and motorcycle camper for Barb to use.  We stopped at Tim Hortons which is our tradition.  Bill got coffee and a donut and I got a sandwich and muffin.  I didn’t eat breakfast so I was hungry.  We looked out the window and here was Roy walking very fast for having a broken femur in January and being 84.  He had seen our camper parked so came in to see us.  We had a great visit.  When we got to BayShore, Wes and Gayla had pulled in so we would be facing them and put our picnic tables together!  They are framily!!!
Bill helped everyone find the spots assigned to them.  Wes and Gayla made chicken, and we made chicken.  We all ate together.  Wes and Gayla took me with them to a vegetable stand we had passed on our way to town.  Bill had to stay and help people get camping spots.  We all played cards in Wes and Gayla's camper when he was done.  It poured for a while.  Bill left his clipboard outside and all the papers were wet so I laid them all over. The ceiling fan sure helped dry them fast.

Tues., 8/27/19.....Went to our breakfast, Took Royce grandkids to school, Got oil change, Worked on Newsletter, Went to Movie Overcomer with Charlie and Sue

Hailey's first day of school. She's a sophomore
Isaac by his locker at Curriculum Night at his school

Peyton by her locker
I took Hailey, Max, Jack and Evan to school. It was Hailey's first day.  I dropped her off first and then took the boys to their school.  We prayed on the way for all of them to have a great day and blessed year.  Got to our breakfast right at 8 when it starts.  Bill was already there and he brought my phone because I forgot it.  After breakfast, I went and got an oil change in my car at Toyota.  Worked on the Faith Rider's Newsletter and got it done and sent to the officer's to review.  Charlie and Sue picked us up at 4 and we went to see Overcomer.  I loved it even more the second time.  Very good movie even though it is a tear jerker.
