3/31/18...Melissa sounded better this morning, but now Bruce, Jack and Max have the fever and are going to med Express, Went to see God's Not Dead, A Light in Darkness. with Wes, Gayla and Joel, Went to Pizza Hut afterward,

We had fun at Pizza Hut with Gayla, Wes and Joel after the movie

Wes and Gayla got us this beautiful cross from Costa Rica when they went on their cruise.  It will be going in our new camper.

Loved this artwork of Adam's.  Such a great job for just beginning art. I showed it to Kenzie because I remember her doing this.  She messaged me one she had done when she was around 13.

Kenzie's
We slept in until 8.  Got up and had our oatmeal with raisins and nuts and then Bill left to go get a cord for our camper and I got ready.  I talked to Melissa and She sounded so much better, but now Bruce, Jack and Max have a fever.  YUK! They all went to Med Express.  All got Tamaflu.  Jack had an ear infection so they put him on an antibiotic.  He also is having asthma problems so they gave him a steroid.  please continue to pray for all of them.  I called to see when he was going to be getting home because Wes and Gayla were coming over and he told me he was sitting by the fireplace out in the camper.  I went out and we sat out there for a while.  Wes and Gayla came so we went to the show with them.  We saw God's Not Dead, A Light in Darkness.  It was really good, but I like the first two better.
Love that there are three Christian movies playing at the theatre right now.  Praising God.
We went to Pizza Hut afterward for pizza and had a great time visiting.  We took naps and watched the Michigan game.  Didn't get much done.  Cold, rainy and very windy outside, so we didn't do anything in the camper yet.  Can't wait to start though.

3/30/18...Kimmy and the boys came over, Vikki, Peyton and puppy Lucy came over. Bruce took Melissa to Med Express and then ER. No pneumonia, but she does have Influenza B. The grandkids decorated Easter Eggs, We picked up our new Sabre Camper.

The guy at the Camper place took this picture for their facebook page

Pretty relaxing
Adam, Jack, Evan, Peyton, Eli, Max and Jacob decorating Easter Eggs

So happy these kiddos decorated our Easter Eggs and did such a beautiful job.
Silly Jacob!  I didn't realize he gave Peyton bunny ears.  He takes after his Papa!

I couldn't wait to call Melissa and find out how she was doing.  She had to wait to see how she was after she was up for a while.  Then when she called later, she needed to go into Med Express.  They sent her to ER.  Vikki picked up Max, Jack and Evan and brought them to our house.   All the kids that were here colored Easter Eggs.  At three, Kimmy watched all the kids and Vikki, Bill and I went to pick up our new beautiful camper.  It took a while for the guy to show us everything on it.  It is amazing.  Bruce kept us updated on Melissa.  They ended up diagnosing Melissa with Influenza B.  Sent her home and said she would have to wait it out.  Poor Melissa sure isn't feeling good.  Adam sure was excited about seeing the camper.  He is so cute and sweet.  All the kids were excited, but Adam sure shows it.  I ordered pizza and Kimmy, and Vikki went with me to pick it up.  We all ate and then Vikki, Kimmy, me and Bill went out and had some quiet time in the camper.  Vikki took Melissa's boys home with her to spend the night so Melissa could rest.  We were going to spend the night in the camper, but Bill needs to get a cord so couldn't.  Kimmy and the boys saw lots of deer on their way home.  Sure am glad none ran out in front of her.  Melissa called and still sounds terrible.  Praying Hard and believing God.

3/29/17..Read on my book, Praying for Melissa as she called for prayer and isn't sounding good

Got groceries for Easter.  Was happy to get a 23 lb. Butterball turkey for $11.  Also got a ham.  Sure hope we all feel better so we can get together.  Bill and I went to Church for a very touching service.  The message was so moving and it was just quiet worship with meditating on the words.  So thankful for all Jesus went through to pay the price for us.  Sure do love HIM!  In the evening, Melissa called asking for prayer.  She sounds awful.  Bill and I told her she needs to go to Med Express or ER.  We didn't convince her.  Sure am praying hard for my sweet Missy.  God is faithful!

3/28/18 Isaac came and spent the day with us. Took him to McDonald's and Peyton and Kaitlyn surprised him by coming there to play.

Isaac, Katelyn and Peyton

Isaac came in the morning to spend the day with us.  Peyton was having a friend spend the day with her.  He loved playing marbles and really has a good imagination with them.  We went to McDonalds and he was so happy when Peyton, Katelyn and Vikki came there to play.  Vikki got them all hot fudge sundaes.

3/27/18 Travis dropped Kenzie off and we spent the afternoon together. Went to the bank and then went to Chen's for dinner.

Kenzie and I spent the afternoon together.  I took her to the bank and  prayed before we went.  They ended up getting all of her medical bills from her accident cancelled.  She was so happy she was crying!

I walked 2 miles at SportsZone in the morning.  Shampooed Family Room carpet.  I was happy when Vikki and the kids came over for a visit.  Lucy came too and is such a cute and sweet puppy.  She is doing much better with her leg now.  The kids helped papa pick pup sticks and played outside most of the time.  Vikki tried my shampooer out upstairs in the hall.  We sat outside for a while.  It was 53 degrees and sunny.  So nice outside.  Bill got the snowblower off from his tractor.  He had an Elder's Meeting in the evening.

3/25/18...Got sick after I went to bed last night. Didn't sleep much.

I went to bed last night and then had an upset stomach and didn't feel well at all.  Didn't get much sleep until morning.  I stayed home from church, still not feeling good, but feeling a little better. Only thing I did all day, was clean out fireplace insert so we could use it and washed sheets and hung them out.  Lazy day.  Can't wait to feel really good again and back to normal.  Thankful it's not worse though.

3/24/18...We had lots of fun at Season's of Refreshing

3/23/18...Got up early and shampooed the living room carpet with my new shampooer. It did an amazing job and was really easy. We packed and left for Jackson. Picked up Elaine on our way and she rode with us. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express. Very nice with a warm pool and nice room that was very clean.

The carpet got really clean and even some old stains came out.

Nice pool and Jacuzzi/  The pool temp was in the high 80's
Elaine, Bill, Dan, and Gayla were on teams for Family Feud.  We had lots of laughs.
Elaine on her team and Dan going up to join Bill on his team.

Bill, Dan, and Gayla playing.  Ziggy who we met at a bed and breakfast in Maine was the Show Host
Barb on her team

Elaine and Bill facing off.  The question was, What states don't have helmet laws.  They couldn't think of anything, but then Elaine said Alaska.  That was the wrong answer. They had to keep going  till someone guessed one.  It was funny because Michigan doesn't have a helmet law, but neither one thought out of that. Both teams won one and then they had a play off.  Elaine's team won two out of three
Dan facing off

Bill does know how to use a vacuum.  Below is proof!  He did a great job helping clean up.  Our chapter was responsible for clean up on Friday night after pizza.

Hailey
My new Bissell Shampooer

Melissa's kids only had a half day of school today.  I went to pick up Hailey and she helped me fill  eggs for our Easter egg hunt.  She sure was a great help.  We watched the movie "A Matter of Faith" together.  It was a really good movie.  I opened my front door to let the sun shine in because it was so nice outside and to my surprise, my shampooer was on the porch.  I only ordered it two days ago so it was a surprise.  I brought it in and put it together.  I took Hailey home and took some pictures when I dropped her off.  Forgot to take some of her filling eggs.

3/21/18..Bill went to the SportsZone. When he got home he told me he had gotten dizzy while there. I met Vikki at the vet, Picked Peyton and Isaac up from school, Picked Max, Jack and Evan from school. Taught my class,

Happy to see these kiddo's today.  Lucy is sleeping in her cage!

Hailey...She shadowed with a freshman at the high school she is going to.  She had a fun time and loved the school

Max and his smile that I love

My class eating their cookies!  Joan had them make these for large group tonight.  They rolled dough and put it around a marshmallow, then sprinkled it with cinnamon and sugar.  Then they baked them and afterward when they ate them, the marshmallow was gone and there was a hollow space in the cookie.  It was to teach them about Jesus and how He was in the tomb and then gone.  He rose from the dead.  Great lesson and wonderful learning experience for the kiddos.

We had a fun relay race tonight in class.  There were two kids working together.  One had to put a bag down for the other kid to step on and then put a second bag in front of it.  They had to do it from one end of the classroom to the other and then change places and come back.  There were 4 kids on the team.  It was close every time.  They had so much fun doing this, but sure were tired afterward.  Love how they love praying when we have our prayer time.
I went to bed late last night, so slept in this morning.  Bill went to the SportsZone, but was dizzy while there.  I prayed over him when he got home and told me.  Vikki called and Lucy's cast came off.  She was at the vet getting a new one put on and they were charging her $35 for it.  She was very sad that they were doing that when it was their fault it didn't stay on.  I was heading there just to be with her and she called and said they were only going to charge her $25.  Still not right, but nothing she cold do.  They put one on and secured it to her back.  Lucy was having a very hard time getting around with it on.  I talked to her later and she was doing much better.   Vikki wasn't feeling good, so I picked the kids up for her.  They were so cute on the way home.  I went in for a few minutes to see how Lucy was doing, and Melissa called and asked if I could pick the boys up in fifteen minutes and either sit a the school or at Vikki's and wait for her to come get them.  I told her I would just take them to her house.  Hailey was at Valley Shadowing a sophomore and she had to wait for her to get out of class, plus take Celeste home.  She still beat me to her house.  The boys and I were talking about all of the miracles and things God had done and how we know He is real!  It was so wonderful hearing them so excited about Jesus.  I picked Evan up and took him to class wit h me.  He set up all the table and chairs for me.  He told me he just wanted to bless me.  What a sweetie.  We had a fun and great class.  Love my kiddos.
