Grandpa had his ulcerated sore removed from his lip this morning. He did great and even wanted to go look for honey rock cantelope seeds afterward. So far he hasn't even needed pain medication for it so he's really happy about that. We also went to the store as he wanted to get some soup to eat. Bill stopped in at lunch time to see him and then took me to lunch at Subway. Aunt Jody called to see how he was doing while we were there.
Went to get Kenzie from school and then back to grandpa's. The therapist called him to see if he felt like doing therapy and he did so she was there shortly after we got there. Came home and some friends stopped over to show us their new Cadillac.
It was luxurious. Heated front and rear seats plus heated stearing wheel. Many other wonderful features too. I still like my Honda better though especially with gas prices like they are. They brought their dog (a big Rotweiller) with them. She was such a sweet, friendly dog. She didn't want to move over in the back seat so I could get in so I squeezed in with her where she was. She gave dad a big lick on the back of his neck. You can imagine how much he liked that. We ate and now Kenzie is taking a big bubble bath with the Conair Water Jet sprayer that Vikki got for me a few years ago. Still love it Vikki. You pick out very nice gifts by the way. It is such a wonderful way to relax. Kenzie is going to give me a foot massage tonight. I didn't know until Vikki had her give me one yesterday, how very relaxing it is. She said she would give me a back rub too. I will be spoiled soon I think. The one picture is of Kenzie sweeping the garage. She is trying to earn money to buy something she wants.

Went to grandpa's this morning and he was feeling great, which I am really happy about. After that, I was off to church. Had fun teaching Sunday School. We came home, ate lunch, and then Vikki, Rody and Kenzie came for a visit. They brought us great chicken salad sandwiches and chocolate cake. Vikki's loves them and has been wanting us to try them. They were delicious. Thanks you very much you guys! Very nice of you. After they left we were off to visit our friend Maynard down the road. Enjoyed out visit. Left and headed to the store, then to get a Concrete Mixer. Soooooo delicious.... Came home and started sorting pictures and looking for one I ran off the other day. Can't seem to find where I got it from, but I searched for an hour so am giving up for now. I wanted to put it on the blog as it was of all the girls and the grandchildrenon the couch. Anyway, no pictures for todays blog. This is short but sweet.

Went to grandpa's this morning. We always watch the weather together and today we were really thankful the storm missed us. Yesterday grandpa and I went to Meijers to get groceries. He is cute as he always reminds me to get paper bags. He has a great memory. He bought a pineapple and when we got to his house, he asked me if I had enough time to wait for him to cut the pineapple up so he could send half of it home with me. He is such a sweetie. It was the best pineapple I've ever had so it really hit the spot.
Kimmy was coming over with the boys so I went home to be there when she came. She got here and we decided to go to McDonalds for a fun time with Jacob. We also called Melissa to come bring Hailey and Max to play. It was cute to see Jacob so excited about his cousins coming. Adam was the best baby. He only had one toy, but was happy to just sit and watch everybody. Didn't fuss at all. I enjoyed seeing the kids all play together and was able to capture a good picture of Kimmy and Jacob. We headed over to pick up Kenzie from school, stopped at grandpas and headed back home. Got ready to take Kenzie to her volleyball game and as we were getting ready to go out the door she told me she didn't have any tennis shoes. She had left them at school and her room was locked. We made it to the shoe store, ran in (and I mean ran) picked out a pair she liked (they were even on sale), paid and ran back to the car. We made it to the school 5 min. before the game was to start. What a memory!
I should have let her play in her church shoes as I remember Bill taking Melissa to a soccer game in her church shoes and it was the only time she ever kicked the ball.
I couldn't believe it when I watched the video of her and she had her good patten leather shoes on. That was a good memory too. Left the game to go with Melissa to Hailey's dance class. Got to watch Max play with his friend which was really cute to see. Headed back home. I was so happy when Kimmy, Jared and the boys were still there. We had a nice visit and fun taking pictures of the boys and Kenzie. Today we went to Marylynn's daughter, Danielle's wedding. It was beautiful and the food was great. We sat with Pastor, Sherry and Cathy and had a good time. Doesn't the cross look beautiful in the wedding pictures?

Once again I am behind on my blog. Between appointments for grandpa and church activities I have been keeping quite busy. I have also been trying to run off pictures to send Aunt Linda.
We had a good Bible study Tuesday night, then fun at All Stars last night at church.
The kids were wonderful and so much fun. Today was cleaning day at grandpas. He wasn't feeling too good this morning so he sat in his chair looking sick most of the time I was there. Later when I came back he was feeling much better and when I went back even later to take his supper he was even better. Hope tomorrow morning goes well. Next week he has to have a ulcerated sore removed from his lip. Also has to have an endoscopy in the middle of the week. Many appointments lately, but so far we have been getting good reports which I am very thankful for. Kenzie started her volleyball games this week. Loved watching her play. She has another game tomorrow night at 5. I'm watching Max while Melissa takes Hailey to her dance class so I will have fun with him. Kimmy is probably coming over with the boys which I am looking forward to. Should be a fun day. Kenzie got marked outstanding for her violin grade. She has a concert coming up. Can't wait to hear her play with others.
Melissa, Bruce and the kids came to visit last Sunday. It was nice to have them over. I had a couple of good long phone conversations with Vikki today which I also enjoyed. Got to talk a couple of times to my sister, Linda. I was so happy to talk to her. Please pray that she gets moved to a good rehab close to her home where she can get good physical therapy. She is very lonesome for her family. Being so far away makes it hard to visit as often as they would like.
