6/30/22 Vacuumed camper, went for bike ride, sat outside and read my Bible and book.

Relaxed in the hammock.  Got really windy out so put the awning in.  Cooked a sirloin burger and cut up potatoes on our new grill.  First time cooking on it.  It lit up fast and is amazing to cook on.  Everything was yummy.  Went for a walk around the campground.  Warm out but the breeze made it enjoyable out.  Spent most of the day outside.

Saw in the forecast that it’s supposed to rain during the night so packed everything in the clam and closed it up.  Watched the movie,The Encounter.   Talked to Bill, Vikki and Kimmy.  Texted with Melissa and Hailey.

Kimmy came and assisted them.  I left for up north and they all stayed and organized the laundry room. I thought Bill would do that tomorrow, but Kimmy wanted to help.  It was after 10:30 when I left, and way later when they left.

Peyton, Isaac and I watched the movie, The Woodcarver.  It is such a great movie with such a wonderful message.  Vikki took a nap while we watched it.  She has been working so hard on the house a nap did her good.  Later on, we went to Northwoods and looked around, then went to McDonalds and got ice cream cones and Vikki and I used our Codes to get free lattes for in the morning.  It rained all day.

Monday, 6/27/22, organized cupboards, had a negative COVID test, went for a bike ride and a walk around the campground

Delicious eggs, hash browns and sausage today

Slept in til 8:30, then made eggs, sausage, hash browns and toast for breakfast.  After breakfast I put worship on, spent time praying and reading God’s Word.

At home, Bill walked 4 miles in the morning and 5 in the afternoon.  This makes me so happy, because I want him to stay in good shape to be healthy.  I went for a bike ride.  As I was leaving the camper, our neighbor next to us asked me when the kids were coming back.  I told him today.  He told me they were such polite kids.  He’s the second one in the campground to tell me that.  I sure am a proud nana.

I walked the whole campground, then came back and ate dinner.  I sat in the Clam and read the book Debbie gave me called, Mothers and Daughters of the Bible.  Just in the first chapter, but it’s really good so far.

Talked with Vikki, Kimmy and had a nice talk with Melissa for a while. Talked with Bill a few times too.  He’s feeling great today!  So happy about that!

Pastor sent me a message asking how I was.  He posted a prayer request saying to pray as there were several dozen who got COVID in our church.  Definitely praying!

Vikki and the twins came back up.  I am so happy to have them here!

Sunday, 6/26/22, Slept in, Alone and quarantining in the camper, worked on catching up blog posts, lots of phone chats

Slept in until 8:30.  Had oatmeal and Starbucks coffee for breakfast.  Talked with Bill several times checking on each other.  Talked to Vikki a couple of times too.  Knew Kimmy and Jared were going to help Vikki and Rody more today after church, so didn’t get to call her.  Had a very nice long phone chat with Melissa.  It’s 82 degrees today and the air has been staying on.  Thankful for that.  Listened Read my BibleCatching up on more blog posts to post when I’m home and can.  Usually no internet at all here and super slow when there is.  Today I actually had internet service a few times. Yay!  I did go for a bike ride at least.  Got pretty much caught up on my blog too. Will just need to post pictures when I get home.

Watched Flywheel.

I made yummy goulash.  The kids all love goulash!

Bill brought trailer to help move things too. He sounded hoarse, so Vikki said she needed to test him for Covid.  He was shocked when he tested positive for COVID, so I had to leave and couldn’t help.   Bill worked outside with a mask.  I dropped off dessert to Mike for Moises graduation party.  Watered garden and flowers.  Spent time with Kit Kat.  Put Bill on the church prayer page.  Went to Vikki’s and took pizzas for everyone.  They tore up the carpets and the wood floors underneath are just beautiful.  It was amazing all they got done. there are being lol Got some groceries for him that he likes, and headed back up north to the camper. We are both quarantining.  Talked to all the girls and texted with Stacie and Aunt Vikki!  Hot 90 degree day again.  Made goulash.  Stayed at camper by myself.  Adam , Vikki and the kids were supposed to come back up but because of COVID chances didn’t.

Wed, 6/23/22, camping with Peyton and Isaac at Wilderness campground

Isaac sleeping in the morning
Breakfast outside
Peyton, Isaac and I played candy bar bingo. We sat with Peyton's friends and their dad.

Had breakfast outside this morning.  The kids slept in this morning which is unusual for Isaac.  Cooler 66 degrees this morning but sunny with no clouds!  The kids did the art and craft project with their friends today.   Then we all went swimming.  We got out of the pool, came to the camper and had lunch, then went to play bingo.  Peyton’s two friends and their dad, Peyton, Isaac and I sat at a table.  Isaac got two bingos, Peyton’s friend got a bingo, and her dad got a bingo. People at other tables we’re getting lots of bingos.  Isaac gave Kendal the flashlight he won and got some sand toys for Peyton.  So sweet of him.  The kids painted at the pavilion , the played in the sand.  We all swam for a couple of hours after that.

We went to McDonald’s for dinner and got a couple of things from the Dollar Store.  The kids played more while I sat relaxing in the Clam.  We played 3-13 before going to bed.  We were very happy to have Vikki come up to stay with us.

Baby Oriole was under our camper making lots of noise
Isaac and Peyton by the camp store!
Isaac

Isaac and I had the pool to ourselves

We all took turns walking with papa

Gayle and Pastor Tim...The Joneses.  Bill took this picture when he saw them!

We all had breakfast, then Isaac and I went swimming and sat in the hot tub. We were the only ones there.

All four of us went for a walk around the campground.   When we got back to the camper, Bill packed up the grill and went home.  He is returning it because it doesn’t work and getting the smaller Coleman one, which gets great ratings.

He sent me a picture of the Jones’s at Camping World later.  The are the nicest people and have a great ministry for the Lord.  I wish I could have seen them.  Before he left, we all set up the Clam.  Isaac put all of the stakes in.

Peyton, Isaac and I rode our bikes to the store and registered.  I let them pick out some candy.  We played corn toss, then went inside and played 3-13.  I was the winner.  We went to the pavilion and got ice cream.

Peyton made a nice friend, so they played at the playground lots.  Isaac did lots of bike riding.  We played store when we were back at the camper.  Peyton set up all of her pop its to sell to me and Isaac had a techy store.  His stuff was really expensive compared to Peytons.

It was another hot day, but not in the 90’s like yesterday.  Thankful for air.

Peyton and Isaac took their showers, then we played 3-13 before bedtime. We read the Bible and I tucked them in.

Tues., 6/21/22 Packed in the morning, Lunch with friend Vikki and her parents, went to Wilderness campground

Beautiful morning to read my Bible on the deck
Took a picture of my cracked window.  Bill's pulling the camper ahead of me.
Fun playing 3-13 with Peyton and Isaac.
I love my sweet Peyton so much!

I got up early to read my Bible and finish packing the camper.  Watered plants too.  I picked up some groceries at Sams Club, then met my friend, Vikki at her mom and dads.  We picked up lunch from Panera and took it back to her parent’s place to eat.  They bought our lunch. So sweet of them.  I haven’t seen them since COVID so I sure enjoyed it.  Her mom is 89 now and her dad is 93.  Vikki and I took their car to wash and vacuum for them, then went to Walmart to pick up some groceries for them.  We also got them a shepherd hook at Hobby Lobby.

We dropped everything off, and I left and went to Jack’s to get lunch meat and cheese for our camping trip.  Vikki brought the kids over and packed their things in the camper.  Isaac rode with Bil,l and Peyton rode with me.  The road we take was loose stone and they didn’t have it closed.  We were all going slow, the some nut started passing everyone.  My windshield got cracked and I’m wondering how many others.  Our camper and Bills truck were ok.

It was in the mid 90’s and roasting. We set up everything.  Isaac helped Bill and Peyton helped me.  At dinner time the power kept going out because everyone was making dinner and running their air conditioners.  We were sure thankful when it started working again.  After dinner we played 3-13.  My losing streak broke and I finally won. We read the Bible, then we all went to bed.
