Monday, 12/30/19, Took Christmas decorations down, went to lunch at Levi's with Anna and Lisa

Lots of water everywhere this morning.

Bill at the funeral doing his part in the ceremony

It rained really hard during the night.  Thankful for the sump pump doing its job and the basement staying nice and dry.  There was so much standing water in our yard and in the fields.  Our swing set had lots of water around it which is very rare.  I put away all the Christmas decorations except for the Christmas tree and the stairway decorations.  Bill went to a funeral at Bethlehem Lutheran for a fellow veteran to help with the ceremony.  We watched the movie, Togo.

Sunday, 12/29/19...Went to church, Went to lunch at Olive Garden with Beemer Family, Watched the Christmas DVD's

Bill relaxing and playing a game on his phone

We got up early to get ready for church and have time to read our Bibles.  I talked to Pat who just lost her husband and was having a hard time during Christmas.  Then I talked to Lisa who is going through an emotional time.  I went into the prayer room and the first person who prayed, prayed for people who would be at church who are grieving or going through relationship troubles.  God is so
good to put it on hearts to pray for what is happening without even having to say anything.  After church, we came home and changed, then met The Beemer family and Melissa and Scott at Olive Garden.  We had yummy spaghetti and brought some home.  We had fun and a good time visiting.
Melissa and Scott are a really nice couple.  She doesn't eat any cheese, so Bill was pretty happy to have company and so was she.  We came home and I watched the Christmas DVD's.  I loved watching them and seeing all those precious personalities in the family.  I got some good laughs too.  Kept in touch with Kimmy on their trip home and did lots of praying (got her sisters praying too) because of fog warnings. I was very happy when they got home safely.  We watched the Movie Hatchi.  It sure was a tear jerker, but a very good movie.

Sat., 12/28/19...Made Noodle Casserole and a cake for tonight's Facilitator Meeing

Got turkey, cream of chicken soup and seasonings going in crockpot.  We ate oatmeal for breakfast. Did our prayer and Bible reading. Put worship music on too.   I read my Best Friend, Vikki's,  journal she wrote and dedicated to me again.  It just touched my heart so much.  Love how humble her prayers are and how she knows God is the answer through out it.  I sent a message to her to let her know I read it again and how moving it was.  What a great friend she is and I always know she loves me no matter what!
God sure blessed me.  I love the keyless entry locks Bill put on the shed door and the back house door.  How Nice!  He was surprised and sure liked getting those for Christmas.  Love it when I can really find something he likes.  At 6 we went to church for the facilitator meeting/potluck.  We had good fellowship, good food (other than everything was cheesy except what I made and what Lindsay made.)  Bill wasn't to happy about all the cheese.  Glad I made him noodle casserole so he had something he really liked.  I made a dump cake which was really good and so easy to make.
We had good discussion about our small group prayer time and a few other things.

We slept in.  Ate breakfast and did our daily reading and devotions.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac came over to have leftovers with us, which is our Tradition.  We watched worship on tv for a while and Vikki set the Roku up on our living room tv which is great to have.  We had a snowball fight with the snowballs we got for Christmas at Melissa's yesterday.  Peyton and Isaac were pretty good at throwing them.  I sure was tired out after we were done.  Shane sent me a cute picture of Ava and Claire.  We went to Wes and Gayla's for dinner and to play games  Bill drove the motorcycle because it was 60 degrees out.  I followed in the car.   So nice to see and spend time with Joel and them.  We ate spaghetti and salad for dinner.  Ae the rest of the banana cream pie I made for dessert and also cookies.  Everything was delicious.  Wes won at 3-13, I won one game of Skip-bo, and Bill won the last game.  We had such a nice time.  Love our framily...friends who are family!

Listened to worshipful Christmas Music and then read my Bible. We went to Bruce and Melissa's house at 9.  The kids all came running and gave us great hugs.  We had cinnamon rolls and coffee first, then Bruce made us an amazing breakfast...egg casserole, plain scrambled eggs, rolls with egg and potatoes inside, waffles (stuff to make Belgium waffles too), hash browns, American fries, bacon, sausage, fresh fruit, and homemade bread.  It was the best breakfast ever!  Afterward we opened gifts.
I love this tradition.  It was so much fun watching them open their gifts. We loved our gifts too...especially Bill's ping pong socks and the snowballs.  We had a snowball fight in the house with them.  Nice that they don't hurt when they hit.  We went to Kimmy and Jared's after that.  Love relaxing in their LazyBoy's.  I brought the snowballs in for them to see.  We really had a snowball fight there.  Those boys got into it and so did Jared. It was so much fun.  Eli loved using my neck thing I got from Hailey.  I brought it in to show them because it is so comfy.  Kimmy had snacks and meat and cheese out, but we were too full to eat. We had a nice time there and then got our hugs and left for home.  We rested at home for a little while and then went to Rody's moms for dinner.  They had just finished opening presents.  We visited and then ate.  The food was delicious.  Didn't eat much, because we were still pretty full.  They are always so nice. Peyton and Isaac were cute.  We came home and watched It's a Wonderful Life.

Got up early and made the cheesy potatoes, set tables, and got everything ready.  Read my Bible and worshipped Jesus!  I am so thankful for Him and what He has done for us.  Kimmy and family got here about 9, and Melissa and her family and Vikki and her family shortly after.  We snacked on sausage, cheese, crackers and Christmas Cookies.  Took some pictures and videos and then opened gifts.  The kids did their gift exchange first.  It was fun watching them and they gave each other such thoughtful gifts.  We all opened according to age afterward.  We all got such nice gifts and our family is so special and giving.  Bill wrapped his own gifts for me this year.  First time ever!  Kimmy was out of a job.  Charlie came, but Sue wasn't feeling well, so stayed home.  Melissa and Kimmy helped set the silverware on tables.  We ate at 2. Kimmy and Vikki made me sit down, and they cleaned everything up and put all the food away.  They always do this for me and are such blessings.   I texted Stacie because they weren't here at 2.    There was a mix up and she thought it was tomorrow.  It ended up her boss let everyone go home, so she picked DJ and Kody up and they came around 3.  The girls were blessings again and got everything out for them to fix their plates and eat.  What kind hearted sweet girls.  The guys played Euchre.  We ate dessert after we were done being so full.  Rody had to leave to do sound for the Christmas Eve Service at Church.  He came back afterward.  Melissa and her family left to go to the Christmas Service at Bethlehem.  Kimmy, Jared, Jacob,Vikki and I played 3-13. I was the big winner tonight.  We watched Overcomer while we played.  Jack played his instrument for us and Eli played his recorder for us.  Then Kimmy and Vikki cleaned up everything again and unloaded the dishes from my dishwasher.  I am so blessed.  I love my family!
