8/30/17...Happy Anniversary to Kimmy and Jared, I made cabbage buns for camping, Melissa and I met at Vikki's and then rode together to take the buns we made yesterday to Ginny.

Happy Anniversary to Kimmy and Jared!  What a great couple you are!  A match made in heaven!
Looked for a picture of Kimmy and Jared and didn't find a recent one, so I will add one later.

Pastor's wife, Joan on left.  Elder's wives, Debbie, me, Tina, Denise , and Brenda having fun at our picnic at Pastor's for Elders and wives.  We girls sat under the red umbrella and everything we said we wanted kept just between us, we said we will keep under the red umbrella.  We had so much fun.  Sarah got home and came out and joined us till Nathan came to pick her up.  After we ate we sat in the house with our hubbies and had a meeting.

Spent the day packing to go to the CMA State Rally at BayShore.  Made more cabbage buns to take with us camping.  Called Charlie and Sue so I could give them a couple.  They stopped over to pick them up.  Called people and invited them to care group. Got all packed and the camper ready to go.

Went to breakfast.  I stopped at Melissa's on the way home and helped her bag her dough she had made.  I took things to Salvation Army and then came home and shortly after Melissa got there.  We cooked up the burger, the burger, cabbage and onion and then stared making the pizza buns first and the cabbage buns next.  She sure was a super good helper.  We had fun and are happy to be giving some to Melissa's friend, Ginny to take to her parents who are in Cleveland because her dad had serious surgery and is recovering.  He has been there a long time, but is coming back to Saginaw on Sept 28.  They are the nicest family.  After Melissa left, I got ready and Wes and Gayla picked Bill and I up to go get Joel and take him to Cracker Barrel for his birthday.  We had a great time and of course the food was delicious.  We walked along the riverwalk afterward which was fun.  After we took Joel back, Wes and Gayla and Bill and I played 3-13.  Wes was the winner.  They sat in our new furniture afterward and Wes was really enjoying it.  We almost thought he was spending the night there.

Melissa's kiddos started school today.  I borrowed these pictures she put on for my blog.  They sure are growing up fast.  I am so proud of my beautiful loving family.  Can't wait for first day of school pictures of the rest.

We slept in this morning at the Hotel.  Kimmy called and said she was coming to Saginaw.  She had told me, but I forgot.  I told her we would be home after we ate breakfast.  We went to Legend's diner for breakfast and had eggs and potatoes.  We got to use the $10 off coupon on our breakfast so it didn't cost very much.  It was raining a little outside and kind of dreary out.  We got home and I waited for the girls to come.  They were shopping, so I decided to go get cupcakes and ice cream to have for Bill's Birthday.  Vikki and Kimmy and the kids got here and then I called Melissa and she was going to come so we waited for her.  Bill got really nice shirts from the kids and beautiful homemade cards which he loved and shows to everyone that comes over.  I got him an Outback gift card, two really nice pillows for the couch that match really well.  I got them for him because he's the one who likes to lay on the couch.  Also got him an oversized bath towel because I love mine so much.  Wanted to get him a quick dry one, but couldn't find one.  We sang happy birthday to hm and had ice cream and cake.   It was fun having the kids over.

8/27/17...went to church, left for Mt. Pleasant, Bill volunteered to collect at the Walmart in Mt. Pleasant Checked into our free room. Charlie and Sue came up and we went to eat at Aurora's Buffet at Soaring Eagle. It was $17.95 each, but they gave Bill and I free meals because it was his birthday tomorrow. We also go a $10 gift certificate to put towards our breakfast at the restaurant here. How wonderful that they do this for veterans!

Forgot to take pictures so hurried and just took these of our room

Good service at church today.  We left right as soon as it was over. Ate a granola bar for our brunch.  Got to Mt. Pleasant and I dropped Bill off at Walmart so he could collect money for the Marine Corp Lrague.  I went to Penney's,Goodwill and then to Walmart shopping til Bill got done.  Then we went to check in to our room.  We checked out the temperature of the pool and then met Charlie and Sue for dinner.  The buffet was delicious.  So thankful when we found out ours was free.  They gaveBill and Charlie $20 to play the machines.  We used it and when it was gone,we left.  Bill won $72.  He was very happy.  We wouldn't use our money for this but it sure was nice using there's.  Charlie and Suecae to our room and we played tree games of euchre.  The guys wine two and we won the last one.  They left and Bill and I went for a swim. Sure was happy to get exercise.  Met a nice Christian in the hot tub who was a vet.  Came back to the room and watched Yours, Mine and Ours.  Fun day!

8/26/17...Picked, shucked and froze 2 1/2 bushels of corn today. Went to the Loon's game with Wes, Gayla, Melissa, Bruce and the kids

Corn I picked from our garden today.  Bill was on a motorcycle ride and I checked the corn and it was ready so picked it without my helper.

Ready to start cooking.  Got 24 gallon bags for the freezer.  Will be sharing with my sweet family.

Bill left for Owosso to witness for the Lord.  I was going to pick tomatoes and check the corn and pick what was ripe.  Well I didn't get to the tomatoes because almost all of the corn was ready.  We are going to be gone tomorrow through Monday afternoon so I picked it all, shucked it, cooked it and froze it.  What a big job.  I am used to Bill being there to help with it.  Sure did miss him.
After I finished it, I got ready and we left for the tailgate party at the Loon's game.  It was Family Day and Wes and Gayla had gotten us and Melissa and her family free tickets.  We ate hot dogs, popcorn, and had a water bottle with it.  Bruce and Max tested the chicken wings to see which were the best.  Different churches were competing.  The kids had fun in the bounce houses.  That ended at 6 and then we went and set up our chairs on the lawn.  It was a beautiful evening.  TheLoons won, 7 to 6.  We stayed for the fireworks afterward.  They were really good.

8/25/17...Bill took the camper and Mocha home. Rody took the kids and Lenny home. Vikki and I kept the Clam up and stayed at the campground. Went to Owosso on a motorcycle ride in the evening after I got home.

The trees are changing already.  Such a blue cloudless sky today.  Beautiful!
We went with Wes, Gayla, Matt, Pastor Jim, Art and Angie, and Dan to the Owosso Vintage Bike ride.  It was a beautiful ride and lots of bikes.

We loaded everything and Bill brought the camper and Mocha home.  Rody took the kids and Lenny home.  Vikki and I kept the Clam up and stayed at the campground.  We went for a 3 mile walk and then rode our bikes to the pavilion.  We ate nacho supremes there.  They forgot to give us salsa and sour cream and I didn't notice until Vikki's was gone.  I went and got some for the other half of mine. It tasted much better.  We went for a two mile bike ride and then we went for a swim to cool down.  We did lots of exercise in the pool.  We came back and changed in the clam and then packed it up and left for home.  Got some things done and unpacked and then we left to meet people from Faith Riders at Meijer's.  We all rode to Owosso and went for a 45 minute ride through the country.  After that we went to Jumbo's Burgers to eat.  They had about 12 different burgers they make.  Bill had a Jumbo Burger and I had an olive burger.  They made a special sauce for mine and it was delicious.  I couldn't eat it all though, even though I wanted to.  I was too full.  I had a baked potato with it.  We left and the ride home was a little cool but not too bad.
