Bill and I went to drop off items at Faith Rider’s Garage Sale on Geddes Rd. for Run For The Son to raise money for three missions, Mission Ventures, The Jesus Film, and Global Christian Outreach. Then drove to Freeland to stop at The Faith Riders Booth, to see if they needed any help. We visited for a while with them.  We also went and talked for a while with the Gidean who had a table there and was passing out Bibles.  After we walked around more, we went and had breakfast at the Riverside Restaurant by the river.  We enjoyed watching squirrels eat off their feeders outside and also enjoyed watching the boats go by with the Walleye fishermen in them.   Kenzie called me and said they would be stopping over in twenty minutes.  Kenzie, Rehvyn, Hailey and Peyton came over after they finished going to garage sales. I love how they went shopping together.  Vikki did go for a while and showed them a good subdivision to go in.  They found lots of stuff.  Jacob and Eli came over. It’s Jacob’s first day home from MSU and I was so happy to see him.  He was so sweet and gave me a hug goodbye and told me he loved me.  Then he turned around and came and gave me one more hug.  Then he got in his car, got out and told me he loved me again.  I am so blessed with loving grandkids.   We played the Penny Game, ate drumsticks, Eli put two fish in our pond and had fun hanging out together. Melissa, Jack and Evan came after the other grandkids left. Melissa dried some clothes and Evan loved hanging out with Jack and Eli. Eli wanted him to spend the night with them, but he had to go home and mow the grass because Bruce had called and told Melissa he needed to do that. Jack and Eli are spending the night. Yay! The boys cooked the burgers and bacon out on the grill and I made fried potatoes and broccoli.  The burgers and bacon were delicious on our hamburger bun.  Yum! Eli loves cooking and so does Jack.  In the evening, Jack put a movie on Air Play for us to watch.  It was animated and was such a cute movie and very funny.  I laughed so hard.   Grandkids are so much fun!  I did my Sunday School lesson.  I had a very hard time getting it to come up on the computer, but I finally got it.  I usually have it done way before this, but this has been a very busy week.  Of all weeks for it to take so long.  It is a great lesson and will be fun for the kids.

Kimmy came to my house, then Vikki,  Peyton and Isaac got here.  They put the goose Vikki is selling on my porch and tried some clothes on it.  It looked cute.  I rode with Kimmy and Vikki drove her car to Pat’s where we met Kenzie and Rehvyn.   Vikki rode with Kimmy and I and Peyton and Isaac traded off riding with Kenzie, who followed us because it was easier with baby in his carseat and having his stroller .  We went to the subdivision by the school first and found quite a bit of stuff.  Melissa and Bruce got there and called.  We were quite a ways back into the subdivisions.  I told her we would look for them on our way back.  I was going to turn, then Vikki said we should go straight, so we went staight instead.  Both ways would take us to Kimmy’s van.  I said, Lord you must want us to go this way so we will see Melissa and Bruce.  About 5 minutes later we ran into them.  We walked with them for a while, then they were going over to Leamon’s to go to the bathroom and get some cookies they wanted.  We went to pick up Adam’s boutonniere and Hope’s corsage at Austin’s.  They are beautiful.  After that we went and ate lunch at Pat’s Parking lot and also went to the bathroom. We went to the area we went to yesterday to see if there were new garage sales open today.  We found some stuff, then decided to go over to some Kenzie had seen signs for.    Then it was getting close to time garage sales would be closing, and Kimmy had to leave, so we headed to Culver’s for the rest of our time and we all had sundae’s with whatever toppings we wanted on them.   Kenzie had coupons, so it was her idea to treat us all.  That was so sweet of her and it sure hit the spot since we were all tired and hungry from going to garage sales.  We all headed back to Pat’s to get Vikki’s car, and Kenzie came in her car.  We loaded all of our stuff in Vikki’s car, then said goodbye to Kimmy and came home.  Kenzie took the kids and went to a couple more garage sales before they closed  Kimmy and Jared are picking up Jacob and moving him back home for the summer.  Yay!  We girls all went through all of our stuff and showed each other and Peyton and Kenzie tried things on.  They looked cute in everything.  Everyone ate spaghetti and they cleaned it up.  Happy to not have it one more day.  Kenzie, Peyton and Isaac walked out with me to look at the pond and the new bubbler.  I took some pictures.  We came back in and Kenzie packed up all of her stuff, then she left and so did Vikki and the kids.  Melissa called and she and Hailey were going to come do laundry.  I tried my stuff on I got today while they were heading over.  They got here and we started the laundry.  Bill, Hailey, Melissa and I all played the Penny Game.  They loved it too.  We all took a turn and each won a game.  Hailey remembered she had an essay to write by 11:30, so Bruce picked her up and she went home to write it.
Melissa folded her laundry, and we started another load.  We visited, watched some clips of the play the kids are practicing for and I worked on the blog.  I sure am tired.  Had trouble keeping my eyes open.

Thurs., 4/25/24, Happy Birthday Melissa! We love you so much! Kimmy came over after she dropped Eli off at school, walked around yard, she put solar bubbler in our pond, went to garage sales, Bill picked up Kimmy’s boys, then picked up Peyton and Isaac, Vikki came shopping with us for a little while, went to Melissa’s and took her card to her, we showed each other our garage sale finds

Happy Birthday Melissa.....we love you so much!
Vikki and Kimmy gave Melissa this calculator.  She had one just like it when she was little.  What a great memory and a great surprise for Melissa.

Kimmy put the solar bubbler in our pond for us today. Thank you Kimmy!
Kit Kat was very curious about those bubbles lol
Adam in the Green shirt and blue shorts and socks.  He played great during the game!

Adam and me

Some of my nice garage sale finds.  Prices were amazing today.

Shoes that look new I picked up for a shoe drive for foster kids.  Other stuff for me.
Suitcase for Bill.  His suitcase is hard to use now because the zipper sticks.

Stuff I found for Hailey for her to wear and for her apartment next year.  Spartan first tee shirt on the far right is for Rehvyn
Wii Board for $2.  Mine doesn’t work and I wanted to do some balance exercises.
Will use this when camping.  It’s a nice big one!
A little blurry.  Cute little birdbath.  Very heavy for it’s little size.
A little teapot for Kenzie.  It’s so cute.  I also found some clothes for Peyton, Isaac, Evan and Jack.  Gave them to them right away.  Found a SquishMallow for Peyton too.  Can’t have enough Squishmallows.

I  got up early and sang Happy Birthday to Melissa and talked to her.  Got ready, made 4 chicken salad sandwiches, packed snacks to go with them, and then put waters and diet pops in the cooler.  Kimmy got here and we walked around outside so she could see how my plants were doing.  It was even colder than yesterday morning out.  28 degrees when I got up.  She put the solar bubbler we got yesterday in our pond for us.  It’s so cute.  She’s going to bring me some fish to put in the pond.   She called Melissa and we both sang Happy Birthday.  We went in the house and Bill was calling Melissa to sing to her, so Kimmy and I joined in again.  We love our Melissa!

We left for garage sales after that.  It was a perfect day for shopping when the sun came out and it warmed up.  We FaceTimed with Kenzie a couple of times today.  She’s coming shopping with us tomorrow.  We started out by Leaman’s, and found lots of things and great deals.  At 12:30, we went to Leaman’s and parked to have our lunch.  It was yummy and we were full after we ate the sandwiches and pretzels.  We had snacked on delicious apples Kimmy had cut up and packed while we were driving earlier.  We walked through and looked at things for sale, then went to the bathroom and left.  We went to the other subdivision we like going to.  Vikki called and was bringing Kimmy’s goose.  We met at the Elevator, then Bill said he would pick Vikki’s kids up after he finished picking up Kimmy’s kids and taking them to their house.  He took Peyton and Isaac out to lunch at McDonalds.  He is such a fun and great papa.  We sure appreciated him doing that so Kimmy could shop longer and Vikki could come for a little while too.  We never ran into Melissa and Bruce this year.  First year we haven’t!  We loaded everything of mine from Kimmy’s van into Vikki’s car.  Kimmy went straight to Adam’s game and Vikki brought me home.  Kimmy called to say I left my phone in her car.  I decided to go to Adam’s game and get it from her there. Peyton and Isaac called me to tell me they liked the clothes I got them today, and Peyton said she loved the Squishmallow.  Adam played really well for his game.  I love watching him.  Jared worked on my phone to get Apple Pay working for me.  It took a while, but he got it working for me.  Thank you Jared!  I wanted to send Jacob money yesterday and it wouldn’t work for me.  I sent it after Jared fixed my Apple Pay and it worked right away.  Jacob texted me back that he got it and wrote a sweet text to me thanking me.  Yay!  He comes home tomorrow.   I am so happy he will be around.  I have really missed him lots. Hailey is moving home from college tomorrow too.  I am happy to have her around again too.  I miss her so much when she’s at college too.  Great kids! Kimmy took a picture of Adam and I, but hasn’t sent it to me yet for me to post.  I came home and wrote out Melissa’s birthday card, then packed up the stuff I got the boys and Hailey so I could show Melissa.  I headed to her house as soon as I got done.  We had so much fun looking at each others stuff.   I took pictures of Hailey’s stuff I got her and sent it to her.  She had lots of great finds too.  Vikki called and was bring Melissa birthday gift from her and Kimmy.  I had to get home because I hadn’t seen Bill much at all today.  Vikki sent me the picture of Melissa with the calculator.  I came home and read my Bible chapters.  Then I worked on my blog.  Bill sat next to me on his recliner.
I’m tired so going to bed.  I got 14,000 steps today.  Yay, Kimmy just sent me the picture of me and Adam.  Posting it on here before I go to bed.
