Tuesday, 4/30/19..HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY TO EVAN! Went to Breakfast, Stopped at Melissa's, Went to Small Group

Bought some storage containers for garage shelves

Happy Birthday Evan!  We love you so much!  You bring us so much joy.  Went to breakfast. After that I stopped at Melissa's.  She needed to get a blood test before Friday, so I told her I could take her.  We stopped and got coney dogs at Old Town Drive In and went to her house to eat them.  I stopped at Walmart and got some storage containers for on my shelves in the garage.  Getting shelves organized is fun.  Looks so nice.  Bill and I went to small group.  Fun tonight!  Ron was in Indiana and John was in Nebraska, so we had a small group.  We watched Jeopardy afterward.

Monday, 4/29/19...Walked at SportsZone, Started organizing garage, Did small group lesson

Bill and I walked 2 miles at the SportsZone.  Filled all of the hummingbird and oriole feeders.  Had a Pileated Woodpecker in the yard.  I was talking to Vikki, so didn't get a picture.  I was too slow.
Put shelves I got from the garage sale in the garage.  Great deal!  Thanks Kimmy for taking me into getting them.  I didn't want to take up all the space in the van so hesitated.  It worked out great though,  because we stacked out stuff on the shelves.  Bill met us at Leaman's for lunch, and we put the shelves in his truck and he took them home.  So happy to have them now.  Did my small group lesson.  Watched Jeopardy with Bill.

Sunday, 4/28/19...Went to church, Worked on garden box, met Vikki and Peyton at the dog park, Vikki and Peyton came over, Did Faith Rider's newsletter

Peyton at the dog park

Kenzie called me in the morning and wanted a apple smoothie recipe out of a smoothie book I have.  She loved this smoothie and wanted to make one.  Bill and I went to church.  Max sat on one side of me and Jack on the other.  I sure was happy to have them by me.  We came home and ate meatloaf, potatoes and peas.  Worked outside cleaning out strawberries from the garden box Bill made me.  The weeds were crazy in that thing last year.  Going to try planting our raspberries in there now.  Vikki and Peyton were at the dog park.  I met them over there.  Pat from church was there with her two huskies too.  We visited for a while.  Vikki and Peyton came over for a while after that and we watched Steven Furtick's Easter message.  It was very good. We went out to the shed so Vikki could see the refrigerator.  Bill was drinking a flavored water.  He never would come in the house for a drink if he was out there and kept getting dehydrated and cramps. Now I don't have to worry about him. I sat outside for a while.  Sad that the sparrows threw out all the Robin eggs from the nest on my back porch.  Those buggers!  Kimmy sent me pictures of the rooms they moved around.  So nice!  Love how they did it.  Worked on the Faith Rider's newsletter for May.  Watched a Hallmark movie.

Saturday, 4/27/19...Met at 10 a.m. and went on our first ride for Faith Rider's. Went to the Maple Syrup Festival.

Refrigerator Vikki and I found at the garage sales.  New and I got it for only $15.  Bill wanted one for his shed.  He always forgets to drink while he's working out there and he gets dehydrated.
So nice and holds a lot.  Have to pick up more for the door and another layer on the shelf.

Love flowers starting to bloomc

We met at Meijer's to go on our first ride of the riding season with Faith Riders.  Wes, Gayla and Joel met there with us, but couldn't go on the ride because they had a memorial they had to go to.  It was sunny, but windy and cold.  37 degrees when we took off.  I had three layers on and our motorcycle has heated seats so I stayed pretty warm.  We had a great pancake and sausage breakfast.  Walked through the sales in the gym afterward.  Didn't buy anything this year.  We headed home and it seemed much quicker than the trip there.  No more sunshine because lots of clouds covered it.  My robin was back in the next that had fallen.  The sparrows are sure bugging her.  They did get one egg.  Boo Hoo.  I took some things I had found for Melissa's kids over to her.  Got some really great hugs right away.  Visited for a few minutes, then came home and made meatloaf and baked potatoes to have for dinner.  It turned out yummy.  Talked to Kimmy and talked to Vikki.

Friday, 4/26/19...Went to garage sales with Vikki, Peyton and Isaac. Later we met Kimmy and went with her.

My mom's hyacinths are open and smell beautiful.  So thankful I have them.

Peyton had a dr. appt. and they only had a half day of school, so Vikki and the kids came over and we went to garage sales.  We both drove so we would have room for stuff.  I found a nice small refrigerator for $15 that was new.  Peyton and Isaac were cute as they would find stuff and then ask the person if they could have it for a dollar less.  They got great deals and people even wanted to give them stuff for free.  I found a fan that is rechargeable and also can run on batteries.  Got it for $2.
At 2, we met Kimmy and Pat's parking lot and shared a pizza.  Then we rode with Kimmy and went to more garage sales.  So much fun going to garage sales!  Vikki found nice winter coats for the twins.  Kimmy found a wonderful knife sharpener.  Bill and I watched Jeopardy.  Then we watched a Hallmark Movie.

Melissa and Bruce...so thankful for these two.

Vikki and Kimmy came over at 7:30.  We called Melissa and sang Happy birthday to her.  Then we went to garage sales in Freeland for the Walleye Festival.   We saw Bruce, Melissa and Hailey right after we got started.  We went to some garage sales together, but then they got ahead of us.  Happy We got to wish Melissa a Happy Birthday in person. We found lots of stuff right away, then when it was lunch time we went to Leaman's for lunch and ate chicken salad and egg salad sandwiches with goldfish crackers.  I found three really nice rolling shelfs.  They are really sturdy.  Melissa, Hailey and Bruce were there eating.  Right after we got there, Bill came and ate.  We put Vikki and my stuff in his truck and he took it home for us.  We needed room in the van in case we found stuff.  We went on the other side of the river after that and shopped across from the High School.  We saw Melissa, Hailey and Bruce again, and they said there wasn't much and were leaving.  We went for quite a while and didn't find anything, but then starting find a few things.  Vikki got a bike for Isaac for $5.  Isaac was getting it with his money.  Kimmy got a SportsBrella. We got talking with the people there and it was our friend Sarah Reimer's things they were selling.  They called her to see if she would take $5 less for it.  She did!  Vikki texted her later to let her know it was us.  Vikki made us delicious Strawberry parfaits.  We ate them while we were parked by a garage sale.  So yummy!  We came home and unloaded our stuff. Then Bill and I went to the Fashion Square Cinema to pick up the popcorn they were donating for the Rescue Mission Movie Night.  We went to the Rescue Mission and showed the movie, War Room.  Everyone loved the movie and they all clapped at the end. Came home and watched James play a great game of Jeopardy.  He is sure amazing and smart.

We walked at SportsZone in the morning.  Our neighbor across the road walked with us.  We had a nice visit while we walked.  Went to the post office and mailed two pendants that Kenzie forgot here to her because someone bought them.  Took Melissa to therapy.  She did a lot of walking outside first with the walker and then with the cane.  She is doing so good.  I picked Peyton and Isaac up from school.  They played basketball outside here for a long time.  We all had ice cream sandwiches.  Vikki came to pick them up and visited for a while.  Bill and I rode the motorcycle and went to visit John Wells in HealthSource.  We had such a nice visit.  He was having a great day and was so fun to talk with.  After that, we went to see Vikki and Rody's new furniture.  It's beautiful and comfy.  We went to Bob Evan's to eat after that and then came home and watched Jeopardy which we had taped.

Isaac and Vikki trying to hang the hammock.  The wind was so strong she had trouble hanging on to it.  Good thing Isaac wasn't hanging on to it.  Vikki said he might of went flying with it if he had been holding it where she was.  The trees were too far apart to hang the hammock.

Isaac, Peyton, Evan and Jack

They had this on the beach to keep the geese away so they don't mess up the beach.  The seagulls still came though.  Pretty scary looking and it moved.  We asked Peyton what was on the beach and she said a dinosaur.  Then we had Max go take a picture with my phone and he brought this back to us.  No wonder there weren't any other kids on the beach ha ha

I woke Jack up with pop up like toast in the morning...then sang him the ants go marching on...my version.  We ate breakfast and then he played the wi for a while.  We went to his house at 10:30 so I could watch the boys there while Melissa and Bruce went to her doctor appt. in Grand Rapids.  They sure were loving and very good!
We came to my house to eat lunch and hang out for a while and then went to meet Vikki and the kids at Haithco.  The ground was pretty wet where we always hang our hammocks so we walked to where the pavilion is.  Hung out there while the kids played on the playground and then played in the water.  Had fun with Vikki and Max there.  It sure was windy.

Jerry, Marie and Roy stopped over.  Marie has been homebound other than dr. appts. since last June.  Roy broke his femur and was in the hospital for 43 days.  Just got home a couple of weeks ago.  I was so happy they called and wanted to come over.  This is their first social visit.  Love them and can't wait until they can come back to our small group.  So happy they are doing better.

Before bed, Jack beat me at Sorry
It was a wonderful day.  Church was amazing, family and friends came to spend the day and the weather was beautiful.  Melissa showed us how she can walk some now without a cane.  So happy!
Bill took Jared, Adam, and Jacob outside to help him put the heavy basketball back board up. The girls, Sue and I got the food ready and on the table.  Finally they were done outside and came in to pray and eat.
We remembered Jesus and what He has done for us and celebrated His Resurrection.   Jared, Rody, Bruce and Travis hid the Easter eggs for the kids to find outside.  The kids had fun and got lots of eggs.  Next they hid the baskets inside and the kids found them.  It was 70 and beautiful outside so we all enjoyed visiting outside.  Jack wanted to spend the night with us.  We played a game of Sorry and he beat me.  I took my turn after him and went out, but it was a little to late for me.  I tucked him in and prayed over him.  Then I listened to him say his prayers.  What a precious prayer he prayed!  I am one blessed Nana!  I have the best grandkids ever and kids and son in laws!!! I love my family.  It was such a fun day with many blessings from the Lord!
