Pretty gloomy day with some rain. Not many people out at Myrtle Beach. Love the big sky wheel but didn't get to ride on it |

This amusement park is right across from the beach |

You can hardly tell where the ocean is but sure can see the whitecaps |
|
Loved seeing this restaurant with the big crab by the door |

The picture on the screen turned out much better than the one I took of them on stage |

Grand Finale |
We ate a delicious breakfast at our hotel and then drove along the beach in Myrtle Beach. It was sprinkling out but stlll a nice time seeing everything. Saw beautiful homes along the water that make the huge homes in Bay City look tiny. We went to the Alabama Theatre to get our tickets for the performance, but it was canceled because three members of the cast are sick with the flu. The lady that was at the desk in the middle called us over and asked us how we would like to go see the Carolina Opry at 7 pm instead. She said if we spent two hours at Wyndham listening to their presentation, they would give us a free dinner buffet and the Opry tickets for free. We decided to do that, determined that our answer would be no even if they high pressured us. We walked around at a furniture store to pass time until time to go. I got a call from Louise and after she said hi, her daughter Becky got on. They are in Florida. Her daughter said Louise had a tiny heart attack and was having trouble breathing. Becky said she was doing ok though. They were just taking her for an Echo. Louise wanted us to be praying. We stopped and prayed right away. The buffet was all you could eat. There was chicken strips, shredded barbecue chicken, meatballs, mac and cheese, green beans and rolls. The person assigned to the four of us took us to a table to eat and gave us time to enjoy our food and then came back and talked a little with us. The head presentation person talked (she was very good and funny and she played a dvd.) Then Broderick, our sales person, talked some with us again and we followed him to one of their facilities to see the rooms. They were absolutely beautiful and fun just to go through. We went back to the place we started and he told us the price. Only 100,000 for the top package. We stuck to our no, and he was very nice. We talked to him about the Lord and he was a Christian and showed us his phone with a verse a day on it. He had only been there 2 weeks. He reminded me of Rody and because of Rody's name it helped me remember his. He wasn't high pressuring us at all. Then his manager came over and presented a cheaper package. He didn't high pressure either. Than a third guy came and offered a better deal. They were all nice with no pressure. We stuck to our no and got out of there with our free tickets and full tummies. I don't like doing that though because I stiff feel under pressure. Still easy to say no at those prices though. Instead of two hours, it was four. It was rainy out though so we listened to the whole thing. Gayla called me and said Louise has to have a heart Cath tomorrow. She has aortic stenosis. Please pray for our dear sweet friend who is 93.
We went to the Carolina Opry and it was fun and they had great voices and musical talent. They had a very funny comedian too. They honored all the veterans (many stood when they said to). They played God Bless America in their honor. Very touching. It was two hours long.
