Wed., 12/12/25, Big snow storm on the way, Went and got things I need in town before it started, made brownies and other desserts for tomorrow night.

FaceTiming with Rehvyn and Kenzie and Vikk
Our cute boy

It started snowing around 3:30 instead of 1 like they were saying.  They started cancelling schools right away and cancelled Melissa’s dentist appt. for 10 tomorrow.  Most were cancelled by 7.

Made coffee.  Listened to some awesome worship music.  We read our Bibles in the morning.  I had yogurt and granola again for breakfast.  I went to Hobby Lobby and the Hallmark Store to get some things I needed.  I came home and filled all of the bird feeders.  The birds are really eating because the snow storm is coming.  I sure don’t know how they know that so far ahead.  They started already yesterday eating way more than usual.
Kit Kat is spending lots of time in her igloo since the snow began.  I baked a couple of batches of brownies, and made pudding up for another dessert.  Bill went over to Vikki’s to help her put the parts on their Lazy Boys that makes them spin around.  He came home and Vikki called because. a half wasn’t screwed in.  Bill went back after Vikki tried and couldn’t get it.  I made some egg salad up from the eggs Bill boiled yesterday.  Bill came back home and they got it put on the way it needs to go.  It started snowing and Bill said the roads were already getting slippery.  I had called Melissa when I saw Max’s college was closing at 6.  She texted Bruce.  He had just dropped Max off, but Max saw a note in the window of his class saying they were closed.  Bruce got Melissa’s text and he was waiting when Max came back out.  They were going to walk the mall with the dogs then.  She let me know when she was home.  I started praying for protection for everyone on the roads.

Maddy texted me because her AFib was acting up.  She had me pray for her and for the kids to take long naps so she could rest.  I offered to go over and help, but she said they were sleeping long and she was getting rest.

I talked to Melissa again.  Their school was finally cancelled.  Haven’t seen Kimmy’s boys schools listed as cancelled yet.

Tues. 2/11/25, Went to Jacks and Aldi, Bill sold a table saw, Went to Old Town Drive In,

Ordered our coney dogs, fries and Root Beer to go
Cardinals just keep coming
Revhyn is so smiley and so cute.  Love when Kenzie FaceTimes me with him.
Rehvyn laughing whenever Mylee gets a treat

Got up, made the bed together like usual, Bill started reading his Bible.  I added granola to yogurt and had that for breakfast, plus a piece of garlic and onion toast with Avocado on it.
I went to Jack’s to get stuff for Officer Training at our house on Thursday evening.  I called Sue to see if she needed me to pick anything up before we get the snow storm tomorrow.  All she needed was two bags of oranges from Aldi.  I picked them up for her and got what I needed.  Took and dropped off the oranges to Sue and visited for a little bit.  I was happy to hear she drove her car and picked up her meds yesterday.  It’s the first time she has driven in a while.  I headed home.  When I got in the house, I saw that Bill had dried the laundry I had in the wash machine and also folded what needed folding and hung up our shirts.  I was very happy.   I hauled in and unpacked groceries and put them away, then read my Bible.   I didn’t have many.  I took some sunflower seeds and peanuts outside and put them in the storage container.  I put peanuts on the feeder because I had been out for a while.
I talked to Vikki and she wasn’t feeling well.  She stopped taking her diabetes meds except Metformin because she was having many of the side effects.  She called the doctor and they are getting her in on Friday. They said she should stop taking the meds, and she told them she had.  I am praying hard for the doctor to have wisdom and for Jesus to heal Vikki.
I texted with Maddy for a while.
In the evening, Bill and I went to Old Town Drive In and picked up coney dogs, fries and root beers to go.  We came home and ate them, because Bill had someone coming to buy a table saw he was selling on FaceBook Market Place.  We ate and then the guy came and got the saw.
We relaxed in our recliners after that.  Kenzie FaceTimed with us so we could see Rehvyn.  She sent us the picture and video of him.

Made a yummy Cappuccino this morning with peppermint and chocolate drizzle on top.  It tastes so good in my Kimmy mug.

I didn’t wake up once last night.  It was 1 am when we went to bed.  I woke up at 8:45 and  checked my phone to see if Maddy was still coming over, but she let me know she was coming down with a cold so we are waiting until next week.  I went back to sleep for a while and still got up before Bill.  I took a nice long shower and played amazing worship music.

I went out and filled the bird feeders that needed filling.  I sent Lourdes a picture of the Bird seed the cardinals like.  She had asked me to yesterday.  I texted with her and Fred for a while, and thanked them again for the fun time.

Bill and I had left over pizza for dinner.  We also had left over banana cream pudding dessert.  Nice not having to cook tonight.  I ordered a watch band for my friend Cathy.  I let her try mine and she could get it on herself with practice.

I texted with Maddy for a while.  She sent me a cute video of her kiddo’s having fun.
In the evening,  my BF, Vikki, called me.  She had lots to tell me about her dad passing away and how God moved.

Melissa called so I talked to her for a while.

We went to prayer, than into the church service.  Worship and prayer were awesome! Pastor gave a great message on family and how God has to be at the center.  We prayed for people at he alter after service.  We went to Taco Nell after church.  Bill had a gift card.  I hadn’t been there in a long time so it tasted really good.  We got our free senior drinks.  When we got home I made brownies and two banana cream pudding desserts.  Bill and I read our Bibles, then he plowed the driveways and shoveled sidewalks and the deck.

We went to Fred and Lourdes’s house for Mexican food Lourdes made and for pizza,  We all hung out, Jacob went and picked up Abi, and then we ate.  We sat around talking until the Superbowl started.  Hailey, Lourdes, me, Melissa,  and Bruce sat on the sectional couch downstairs.  Their dogs sat with us too!  They are sweet dogs.  Kimmy, Jared, Jacob, Abi, Adam, Eli, Evan, Bill and Fred were watching in the family room upstairs..  The Chiefs didn’t start off well.  They ended up being beat 22-40.  The Eagles played amazingly.  We all had a really fun time.  Fred made up two game sheets so the kids and then us adults could initial 10 squares, more than that for the kids.  All the kids but Adam won.  They sure had fun.  We all left after that.

Nana and Rehvyn
It was so much fun watching all of these Cardinals today.  There were at least 18. The last picture has 13 in it.  They were so beautiful!

Evan sent this video to me.  He sure is amazing!

We got ready and went to Faith Rider’s Chapter meeting.  We had a good breakfast and wonderful fellowship and a great meeting.  I am so thankful for all of the kind and loving friends that belong to this chapter.  I put Abi on the prayer list.  Bill shared his vision this morning.  He had to leave earlier than I did because he had to take a USB drive to Jackson for them to use for their officer’s training today.  I stayed home because I’ve been gone so much, I needed to get things done.  Wes told me he and Gayla were headed to Vikki’s to have Rody help him with his phone.
I went to Kroger and got the stuff I needed to make Banana Cream Pudding Dessert for at Fred’s tomorrow for the Super Bowl party.  I stopped at Melissa’s to drop off canning jars for Bruce.  I talked to Jack and Evan for a few minutes, and remembered to take a picture.  I went to Vikki’s after that to visit her and see Rehvyn.  He is just the cutest!  He smiles so much, plays so cute, and talks so cute.  He held his arms up right away for me to pick him up.  I got to see my sweet Peyton too!  She didn’t want me to take a picture because her hair wasn’t done.
When I got home, I read my Bible and worshipped to great worship music.  I enjoyed watching the birds after that.  There were so many and I was amazed at all of the cardinals that were here at one time.  I wish I could have gotten all 18 in one picture, but the most I could get was 13.

When Bill got home, I made eggs, potatoes, sausage and toast.  Later on we had banana splits with hot fudge on them, plus other toppings.  Yum!  I made the pudding for tomorrow’s dessert.  It is snowing pretty hard outside and we already have 2 inches.  It will be a beautiful sight in the morning.

Friday, 2/7/25, Went to Cathy’s, Cathy and I went to Brittany’s, had a Zoom meeting with CMA Michigan area reps/goodie reps

Brittany’s chicken coop....Her hubby has cut lots of wood from trees that fell in their woods.

Beautiful eggs from Brittany
Tim put a pipe around their bird feeder to keep squirrels off. It was working.  There were three Blue Jays on this feeder at the same time.

I got ready and went to stay with Cathy again today.  I’ve bern praying that God would help her do something better that she couldn’t do well.  Yesterday it was getting up off from the couch by herself three times.  She didn’t struggle with it either.  She just gave the right push up with her legs.

I made us toast with avocado spread on it for our breakfast.  We watched the 700 Club and prayed with them when they were praying for the sick.  We decided to go to Brittany’s to visit and get some eggs while we were there, because Brittany said she had lots.  I needed to help her get in the car at her house.  When we got to Brittany’s house, she got out of the car really well other than needing me to pull her up.  It was nice seeing Brittany and her two daughters.  They were really cute.  Her 3 year old, stood on a stool and rinsed all the dishes and handed them to Brittany to put in the dishwasher.  She did it carefully and well with a smile on her face.   Her other daughter, drew pictures and did some work on writing letters.  She did a great job too.  When Cathy was ready to leave, we said goodbye to the girls and Britt, a. gave hugs and headed back to Cathys.

Cathy wanted me to come down to the basement with her.  Today she walked down the basement steps ahead of me so well and went up again well too.  I was amazed to see the difference from the day before. She wanted to give me some salmon they caught when Salmon fishing in the fall.  They have given us some before and it is so delicious.  Looks like this will be delicious too.  We made spaghetti sauce with venison and mushrooms when we went back upstairs.  I am so thankful for this dear friend who is family in our hearts.  Before I left, she asked me if I brought my Bible again and when I told her yes, she asked me to read it to her.  It was a very blessed day.

We ate when I got home, then we had a zoom meeting with all of our Area Reps and our goodie reps. It went well and we are sure thankful we have such great friends that do so much to help out.  Dave and Chrissy, our prayer leads, were able to join us too.  He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer throughout his body back in early summer.  He is doing good and will also be coming for our Seasons of Refreshing for 2 days.  We are thanking God for this amazing miracle.  God is so awesome!

We had tangerines for our snack tonight.  They are so good and so easy to peel.

Kimmy let us know Jacob was at the ER with Abi.  She was in a lot of pain and they think it is another cyst.  They gave her medicine and and will be doing an ultrasound to check for cysts.  We are all praying for her and waiting to hear updates.

Thursday, 2/6/25, Went to spend the day with Cathy, snow covered slippery roads, 35 degrees as a high, very windy

I got ready, then left early to go to Cathy’s.  It’s a good thing I left early.  I slid in places, but was going very slow.  Cathy and I ate toast with Avocado oil on it for breakfast.  It was so good.  We did some cleaning, and I put all of the pictures she had in a box back out.  She had packed them away in order to put her Christmas decorations out.  I read the Bible and she asked me if I would read it out loud.  Of course I wanted to.  We read John 9 and John 10.  I prayed over her afterward.  We had good talks and had some laughs.  We did a big load of laundry and got it done before I left.  We had cabbage buns for dinner.  She really liked them and was happy she could hold them good.   She was able to get up from the couch almost every time today.  I only had to help her a couple of times.  She wasn’t able to do that yesterday.  God is answering prayer.

When I got home, Bill had the dishwasher all emptied for me.  I made him a couple of cabbage buns and he had some Oreos.

I talked to Melissa a couple of times today.  Bruce’s hand is painful when it is in the splint, but not when it is out of it.  I will be happy when he is pain free.
