Sunday, 6/21/26, Celebrate Sunday at church, kids and grandkids came over for Father’s Day, Fun time hanging out together

Celebrate Sunday!  Out side service combining both services into one.  There were over 530 people there.  We had 15 baptisms, 20 new members, 7 new deacons, and 3 high school graduates.  It was an awesome service celebrating all God has done!
I had tapped Brianna’s shoulder to say hi when she went by,
I didn’t think she was going to turn around so looked to see who else was passing byShe is one of my favorite young moms there.  We worked in Sunday School together so she could learn to become a teacher.

As each person was baptized, Pastor read their testimonies they had written out.  Some were so touching.  God is moving on people’s hearts to seek Him.

It was a great day hanging out together.  We missed Melissa and her family.  But we’re happy to FaceTime them and be together that way.  When Stacie came we adults had yummy PB&J sandwiches with homemade strawberry jelly.  The kids weren’t hungry.
After everyone left, I worked on putting pictures on my blogs I need to catch up on.  Peyton spent the night with us.  We watched a good movie.  Bill and Peyton had popcorn.

Friday, 6/19/26, Vikki, Isaac, Peyton and Eli came over, Kimmy came over and brought Arnie, Went to an Estate Sale, Melissa, Evan and Wookie came over, the kids swam,

Peyton and Eli
Evan (putting his possible broken ankle in the water) Isaac deciding whether to swim or not
All four together
Melissa and I twinning
Kimmy and Vikki Twinning.  They are filling my pots I got at the Estate sale with potting soil

They are so cute!....Thank you girls for planting the cute succulents in my new to me pots
Vikki took these of me watering the new plants
Kimmy and Vikki patched some peeling spots on the chairs in our camper

I got up early and cut up some strawberries and put them in the freezer for our lemonades today.  Kimmy, Vikki and kids got here and we had muffins and drank our coffees.  Then we decided to go to an Estate sale.  We went to one that said estate sale, but was really a garage sale and not a good one.  Then we went to the Estate Sale we really had wanted to go to.
We all found some stuff we really liked.  We got home and Melissa, Hailey and Evan were there.  Evan was on crutches and had injured his ankle, possible a break.  Peyton and Eli swam, Evan put his feet in and Isaac decided it was too cold.  Hailey, Melissa, Kimmy, Vikki, and I sat on the deck and visited.  We ate nachos for lunch.  Kimmy did some sewing for Melissa.  Melissa and the kids had to leave.  Kimmy and Vikki stayed and worked on patching the chairs in the camper that had worn spots.  They did an amazing job.  I was happy and Bill was so happy when he came out and saw how great it turned out.  It was getting later and they left.  Melissa brought strawberries that Bruce had picked and mashed and gave them to me.  After she left, I started making strawberry freezer jam.  I made 2 batches and finished at 11 p.m.  I am so thankful that Bruce and Melissa were so kind and thoughtful to bless me.  I am so very blessed with the best daughter’s and son in laws who show there love so much and are so kind and thoughtful and helpful.

Saturday, 6/20/26, Went to serve Saturday, Prayed for 3 hours for those serving and our community, had Chic Fil A for lunch, went to Samuel’s graduation party, took a nice nap, Hailey and Melissa brought Cinnamon rolls over for Bill for Father’s Day, one of the 3 was for me, we sat outside and had a fire in the fire pit,

I trimmed my lilac bush.  I forgot to take a before picture so took at half before and half after.  Kimmy always has trimmed my three bushes, but with the new hedger it’s pretty easy for me to do

Bill used a torch to kill weeds.  He accidentally torched my plant and it caught fire.  He stomped it out but his sock caught fire.  He had a hard time getting it off, but managed to without getting burned.  I am glad he was ok.  I told him no more torching by my plants, and I am hoping for no more torching at all
When we were leaving Melissa’s there was a rainbow on the other side of their house and this beautiful sunset.  I took a picture of the rainbow, but it didn’t look like a rainbow through the screen in the picture.

Bill and I got up and got ready to go to Serve Saturday at church.  We had to be there at 8:00 a.m. There were 206 people registered to go to different places in our community to serve.  This year Bill and I were on the prayer team at the church.  There were 8 of us praying.  We prayed for three hours and covered the workers and the ministries they were helping plus went in the sanctuary where Cassie and Chelsie were getting everything ready for our Vacation Bible School which starts Monday.  We prayed over all the seats and the kids and adults who would be sitting in them, prayed over Cassie and Chelsie and different things that prayer was asked for.  After everyone returned from their jobs, Jon and Jennifer, owners of Chic fil A who go to our church, served everyone free lunch.  It was so good.  They did this last year too.  What a huge blessing!

Melissa called and she and Hailey brought cinnamon rolls that Hailey made for Bill for Father's Day.  They are going to Muskegon this year to celebrate with Bruce’s Dad for once.  We are going to FaceTime tomorrow when Bill opens his gift from Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki and families for Father's Day.  We sat out on the deck and decided to start the fire pit.  I tried and saw flames once, buy couldn’t get it started.  Evan decided he would start it.  He tried several times, then I prayed that God would help him where he had the sore foot and was trying so hard.  It started right after I prayed.  We were all so thankful to have a fire.  I gave Melissa a jar of jam I made for her and Bruce to try.   They left and we went inside and I worked on catching up on some blogs.  There’s been so much going on, it is hard to keep the blog up.

Thursday, 6/18/26, Got 2 3/4 inches of rain last night, Our new Mantis came, Bill assembled it, starts so easy, filled window feeders, went to Aldi, did a basket of filing upstairs

Rehvyn at his Grammy’s today.  Kimmy went there too.  He’s sitting by Barney as he calls Arnie
He loved it at the pet store
Uncle Isaac and Rehvyn playing their games
Bill did a great job assembling the Mantis.  He was at least twice as fast as the last time
Me starting the new Mantis

I got up at 8:45.  Fed Kit Kat and looked at the rain gauge.  We got 2 3/4 inches of rain overnight.  The only standing water we had was on the far end of my new flower garden.  about a foot right at the end in a curve.  No plants under water so I was happy about that.
I put the finch feeder back out and also the jelly dish that doesn’t have a cover to go over it.  Good thing I did.  The food in them would have gotten ruined with all that water and wind.
It is still a windy day, but not bad by the tree with the bird feeders.    No hard rain today either.  I had to fill the window feeders.  We had so many birds yesterday they were about empty.   It sure is fun watching them so close to the window.

The Mantis came and Bill put it together.  It took him half the time of the other one if that.  He carried it out by the shed and put gas in the tank and oil in were it goes.    Then he started it.  It took a couple of pulls the first time.  After that, one easy pull is all it took.  I can start this one so easy.  Yay!  The garden was way too wet to try to use it.  We will just be patient until it dries out some.  We read our Bibles and did our Prayer book/drevotion.

We came in and ate Nachos and soft tacos.  It was fast and easy warming them up.  We had banana splits/hot fudge Sunday style as a snack.  Talked to Sue a couple of times today and talked to Lacy. Sue and Marie today.  Talked to Melissa, Kiimmy and Vikki too.  Kimmy gots lots of weeds pulled and plants transplanted at Vikki’s today.

Worked on the blog then got ready for bed.  She’s such a hard worker.  Kenzie went to Vikki’s too and hung out with Peyton and Revhyn hung out with Vikki and Kimmy and the boys.

Wed, 6/17/26, Chandler came home this morning, had to fill jelly jars and finch feeder, got an inch of rain in the rain gauge, garden looks good, but wet, caught and released another chipmunk, went to Meijer and Aldi, Baby Chandler isn’t eating because it’s coming out his nose, please pray,

The hummingbird eating from the oriole feeder after I just filled the hummingbird feeder.  Go figure!
The Grossbeak came to the window feeder to eat
The bluejay sure is a piggy.  He eats 3 times as fast as the other birds.
The orioles were here lots today and so were many other birds

Beautiful sunny morning but cool 60 degrees out.  I got ready, did laundry, ate breakfast, read my Bible out on the swing.   Bill had already read his.  Ran the pool filter an hour.  Washed the finch feeder out and let it dry in the sun. .
I had to fill two of the jelly feeders.  Walked around and looked at how everything was doing after the inch of rain we got.  Everything looked good and very green.   I noticed I had a chipmunk in the live trap even though I didn’t have any bait in it again.  I took it and released it, then went to Meijer and did Shop and Scan and got another 5,000 points, then went to Aldi and got some things I needed there.  Then I came home and brought everything in.  Bill was napping.  I got things put away pretty quick.  It was three and had started to rain lightly.  Then it cooled off more.  It was just a light rain on and off all day.  We are maybe going to get some thunderstorms tonight, but they took away the flood warning.  Glad of that.  I watered my inside plants, did some other things around the house, then sat and talked to Melissa and watched birds at my window feeders.  Two hummingbirds were both going at the window hummingbird feeder for a long time.  I took videos of some of the birds around today.

In the evening, I made soft shelled tacos and nachos for dinner.  Took a shower, then relaxed and looked on Facebook and then worked on my blog.  It is 11:02 and it just started thundering out.
