These are some amazing grandkids! They are so sweet and well behaved!
Kimmy came with the boys. She put grommets in our screen tent and then we sewed toggles on our
Clam for the flaps to be rolled up. We ran out of upholstery thread so couldn't sew all of them on. Vikki went all over to look for thread, but didn't find any. A lady she talked to is supposed to give us some tomorrow though. Kimmy and Adam are coming back tomorrow so we will finish then. What an amazing help these girls are. Adam wasn't feeling too good when he got here, but did better after he had his medicine. Sure am praying for him. We ate sandwiches and then went swimming and spent a lot of time in the pool. It started raining for a little while when we were in the hot tub. Then the sun came out again and it was warm and nice. I took the kids to the store and they all picked out ice cream for a treat. We sat in the screen tent and played 21 and 15, two games Jacob learned at camp. We had lots of fun playing them and got lots of laughs. Jacob and Eli spent the night. Kimmy and Adam left for home. Adam wasn't sure if he wanted to stay with us or go home, but then he picked to go with Kimmy. Vikki made burgers on the grill and we ate those and some cheesy potatoes. We all had cookies and milk afterward. Jacob and Isaac went fishing again and Eli and Peyton went to the park with Vikki and I. The fish were really biting and Jacob was so happy. We had a campfire and made amores that were yummy. Jacob roasted his marshmallow perfectly. Jacob played 3-13 and dice with us. He sure picked up the game 3-13 fast! He is so much fun!We got a nice compliment from our neighbors in the campground. She said she could sense great peace whenever she looked over here. She is a Christian and is very nice. Proud of my grandkids parents for raising them so well and proud of my grandkids for being so respectful and nice.
