Bill, Sue and Charlie waiting for the concert to start |

Concert has started |
We got up and went to church in the morning. Rody left just before us to head back to go to church. Vikki and the kids stayed up north. After church, Charlie and Sue picked us up to go to the Casino for a concert. Bill had got free tickets for a 3 Dog Night/Credence Clearwater Revisited Concert. We got to Mt. Pleasant early and drove through the new Outdoor Adventure's Campground there. It was much nice then the last time we drove through. Very nice big outdoor pool and a small pond and a very large pond. All full hook ups and cement slabs. Each one is a pull through spot too. After that we went to the Casino. We went to Aurora's Buffet for dinner. There was so much food that we were stuffed afterward. We went to the vehicle and got our blankets and snacks. Walked all the way back to the other end by the gaming room, through it and out the back door. We had to go through metal detectors. Then they scanned us. It beeped for me. My fitbit clip has metal in it. I took it off and it still beeped so the guy wanted to know if I had something else in my pocket. I told him no and showed him. He finally let me in. Then Charlies's hip went off. He has an artificial hip. Then Bill knees went off, he has knee replacements. He also had a pocket knife in his pocket which they made him take back to the car. Another long walk for him. At the gate, we realized we had to sit up on the hill. We called Bill and had him bring the car over and park in the lot right next to where we were. Charlie went to help him with the chairs. Meanwhile, we found out we couldn't have chairs, so called to tell them to forget it. Charlie and Sue were good sports and got on the ground on their blanket next to ours. It wasn't easy for them or for Bill. We sat through Three Dog Night, but were getting kind of sore with nothing to lean on. We really wanted to hear the next band because we didn't like the first on other than the last song they did a cappella called Prayer for the Children. They had beautiful voices. Well it was time to get up. I got up first to help the others. Bill rolled and got up pretty good. Bill and I were trying to help Charlie, but it was very difficult. A huge guy, about 300 lbs. offered to help and he picked him right up. Then his wife told Sue to get on her hands and knees and she would help her get up. We all helped. I should have videoed us. It was so funny and we all sure did have a good laugh about it. Another memory made with good friends!
