1/30/16

Max and Jack loved building things with the legos.  Evan loved playing with the ones I have already put together.

The boys slept in after staying up late watching movies last night.  They played with legos a lot and watched a movie.  Right after breakfast they wanted to go out and pick up sticks, but I had them wait till papa got up so he could get the stuff out for them.  Bruce, Melissa and Hailey came to pick them up and visited for a little while.  At 5:30, we met Wes,Gayla, and Joel at Bob Evans.  The hostess took us back to a corner with a round table and right back in the corner with us was a small table really close. My brother, John and his wife Rose were sitting at it.  We hugged and visited with them for a while.  I am so happy they are living for the Lord now and serving him.  It would have been pretty awkward if this had happened before they received Jesus.  Thank You Lord.  They are at their church every day,  working in the cafe/donut shop and John also does projection on Sundays.  Rose went out of her way to talk to Joel and was very kind to him.  Wes and Gayla insisted on buying our meal.  Afterwards, we went to their house to play cards.  I won the card game and then we switched and played Rumicube.  Wes won that.  It was lots of fun.

Got up and did my hair as I was supposed to go to lunch with dear friend Vikki today.  I got a text from her saying Terry was taking her to the hospital because she had pain in her left arm and a prickly feeling.  Ended up being diagnosed with Myofascial Pain Syndrome.  Keeping her in my prayers for healing in Jesus Name.  I was busy finishing knitting her bag I am making and did get it finished.  Picked Hailey, Jack and Evan up from school.  Melissa picked Max up from school early as he was pale and felt like he was going to pass out.  He was doing better once he got home and she had him put his feet up.  I took the kids home and then took Max and Jack to my house until time to go to the party.  Bill had to go to Detroit for a followup appt. for his knee.  He is doing well, but the dr. said he would probably have pain since he had to put a long bone graft in his knee.  We are praying against that and believing the report of the Lord, By the Stripes of Jesus he is healed!!!
The boys played with legos for a while and watched the deer and the birds through the binoculars.  Then Bill called and said he was almost home so we waited for him and then went to Hailey's Party.
We had pizza, breadsticks, Cookie, and ice cream.  Took the three boys home with us so the girls could enjoy their party time.  Watched the Movie Beethovan's Treasure Hunt when we got home.  Played with legos too.

1/28/16 Melissa came over

Melissa came over after she dropped the kids off at school to get something out of her camper.  We visited while we drank our coffee and then went to Meijer's so she could look for stuff for Hailey's party that she found at the other Meijer's.  We found some stuff but not the things she was looking for.  We both got a package of really nice socks.  Went back to my house and then she went home to get the house cleaned for the party.  I knitted on my bag, made spaghetti, we ate and then it was time to go to Victorious Believer's Church for a Saginaw City Revival.  It was so nice and the Holy Spirit moved amazingly.  Wes, Gayla, Elaine, Matt and Lupe, and Luis went too.  DeMistro was there and a couple of other people Bill worked with.

I was so happy that Kimmy and Jared surprised the boys and took them to the theatre to see Star Wars.

1/26/16 We had care group

Got up and went to breakfast.  Came home and got the house ready, then knitted and watched the news.  Did our lesson for care group.  Got Subway for supper.  I got a footlong meatball and marinara sub and Bill got a turkey.  Mine was a special or 4.44.  It was yummy.  I am saving some for tomorrow.  Had a good care group with lots of sharing.  Watched the last episodes of When Calls the heart.

1/25/16 Went to Vikki's to check out her new furnace and then went with Kenzie and Cole for banana splits at Tony's on State St.

Peyton, Nora and Isaac at Vikki's

Kenzie and I decided we would let Cole have the whole banana split and we would just split one.  So glad we did as it was huge and we hardly made a dent in it.

Kenzie took a picture of me eating on ours

Cole after he started getting full.  He did a pretty good job eating his

It was starting to get a little harder as he got full

What was left of Cole's

Kimmy and the boys had appointments at the dentist.  They stopped here on their way home and dropped off my fitbit.  None of them had any cavities.  I sent some treats with them and a utensil holder for Kimmy.  Sure was glad to see them.  I should have taken a picture
The banana splits were half off since we brought our own bananas.  Kenzie and I were glad we split one because we got so full so fast.  Cole enjoyed his, but then got to full to finish his too. We had a nice visit and fun eating our special treat.  Prayed for Kenzie's ankles and legs.  Glad she let me pray for her right in the restaurant.  We left and when I got home we watched more episodes of When Calls the heart and I knitted.

1/24/16, Jack and Melissa came over so he could have a quiet place to work on his homework.

Jack interviewed me about when I was young and then he came to write it out and make up his board.  I should have taken a picture of it too.

We went to church.  The girls and families were each there except Kenzie.  After church, I went to Walmart to get dvd's for my camera.  Came home and made sirloin patties, baked potatoes and peas.  Melissa called and was bring Jack over to finish his interview project for school.  Melissa ate with us and then she started working with Jack on writing out the answers to the questions he asked me.  He started out pretty good, but then got tired and had trouble focusing.  I had Melissa leave and I started working with him.  He started doing really good again and finished pretty fast.  It turned out very nice.  Melissa was good a getting the board all laid out nicely with the questions, answers and pictures.  They visited for a while and after they left, Bill and I watched more episodes of When Calls the Heart.
