6/12/16. Went to the Frankenmuth parade, our yearly tradition since the girls were babies

Left the campground and went home to get ready.  We went to church.  Melissa and family were there and Rody, his brother, Vikki, Peyton and Isaac were there.  We left afterwards and headed for Frankenmuth.  We got to our spot where we always sit and someone had moved Debbie's rope and put up chairs.  Debbie was pretty upset with her but after dad and I talked to the lady she calmed down.  So glad because when Rody got there, he knew her husband and worked with him.  Her husband was nice and calm the whole time.  Everything worked out good and we all sat together like usual.  Bill and I walked down to get hotdogs as we hadn't eaten anything yet.  They threw more candy this year, but my favorite float wasn't in the parade.  It was the Frankenmuth Bible Church.  They always played wonderful worship music.  After the parade, we went to Debbie and Toms for our annual potluck and swim.  It was 80 degrees out and a beautiful day.  Our family all swam except Bill.  The water was warm and so nice.  We ate hot dogs, brats, Vikki's yummy potato salad, Kimmy's yummy eggs, Bruce's yummy baked beans, Rody's yummy banana pudding, my veggies and dip, german potato salad, taco salad, watermelon, butter horns, German chocolate cake, cookies, brownies and more.  It was such a fun day.  Kenzie and Trevor didn't come to the parade but made it to Debbie's to swim and eat.  Bill and I left there and picked up Mocha at our house, then left to come back to the campground.  We picked up some things and loaded the wood into the truck.  After that we went to play golf.  Bill won the first one and I won the second game.  We went for a walk after that, then came to the camper and played 3-13 and dice.  

6/11/16 We went to watch Eli and Adam's Soccer games. Lovedwatchingthem play

We went to the pool and it was so nice

Got up and took a bike ride around the campground.  When I got back we went to the Pavilion for breakfast.  We had pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee.  It was $3.50 each.  Yum!  After that we got ready and left to go to Eli and Adam's Soccer games.  We stopped for a donut at H & H Bakery in Pinconning and then took back roads to the game.  Bill did great finding the way there.  The boys did great playing and we loved watching them.  Adam got overheated and Kimmy had to go give him water and pour ice water over him.  I gave her my water/fan bottle to use on him.  She said all the kids loved that.  I was so glad he was ok.  He did get back in the game after that.  It was 86 degrees out.  We left and took country roads back.  We went to the cemetery in Rhodes where Bill's family is buried.  We went to the Rhode Cafe for a burger.  We were the only two in there.  The burgers were delicious. They have fish fries on Fridays and we are supposed to go with Chuck and Sue sometime.  We also stopped and took the Schaard Road picture.  A young couple were driving by right when we stopped and asked if we needed help.  We talked to them for quite a while.  We stopped for gas and then got back to the campground.  The beach was so busy.  We went to the pool and went right in.  It was so nice.  Not to busy because it was getting close to dinner time.  We swam and than sat in the sun for a while.  It was so warm out, we went back in the pool.  We came back to the camper and played 3-13 in the air conditioning.  Then we went golfing after that.  We played two games of golf.  Bill beat the first time and I did the second.  We walked all around the campground after that.  Then we ate watermelon and sat on the picnic table and played 2 games of dice.  He won one and I won one.  We took the awning down again as it looked like rain and was getting windy again.  Loaded the bikes up and some clothes to take home tomorrow.  We had a very fun day!

Kimmy and the boys came up for the day.  The boys swam and Peyton and Isaac played on the beach.  Kimmy and Eli took a bike ride.  The guy was coming to fix our hot water heater so I had to wait for him.  I got my bike ride in after he left and then we all went to the outside pool to swim.  It was a little cool getting in but felt great once we got in.  We ate sandwiches for lunch and the boys went in the lake again.
