Went to church.  Special day today because our grandson, Jack, got baptized today.
We are so thankful he is following Jesus.  Nothing could make us happier!  Congratulations Jack!!!
What a blessing that Bill could baptize him.  During worship, Bill and Isaac went up front to worship.  So touching to see grandson and grandfather worshipping Jesus together.  After church, they had donuts and apple cider for everyone.  We all went to Bruce and Melissa's to celebrate Jack's baptism after church.  Bruce had really yummy sloppy joes made.  Lots of veggies and chips to go with them.  I made brownies with powder sugar on them and Bruce's mom brought spicy chicken cheese soup.  We had fun family time and all the kids loved playing together.

We met at Meijer at 9 am.  There were 19 of us and 15 motorcycles.  It was in the 40's when we took off.  I had lots of layers on and sure enjoyed my full face helmet and my heated seats.  I stayed nice and cozy even though it was cold out.  We rode to Mia and had the breakfast buffet at the Paddle Inn Restaurant. They had plain stuff on it for Bill and cheesy stuff and corned beef hash for me.  Sure was good.  After we ate a group of us rode back to Saginaw and 8 bikes rode to Mackinac.  It was pretty chili out all day.  We passed an Amish farm and the man plowing and the little boy by him waved to us.  Love driving in Amish country.  We got home and I put a pot of coffee on and we left to go to Baynes to get something sweet.  We ended up with caramel apples, apple bread, a peach pie, a donut and a blueberry muffin.  We came home and had some delicious peach pie warmed up and our coffee.  I unloaded stuff in the camper that needs to come out for winter.  Got that done.  Loved seeing pictures of Hailey and her first homecoming.  I reposted them on my blog.  It will be a great memory for her.

Dropped some stuff off at Salvation Army, picked up chicken sandwiches from Arby's and then went to Melissa's to pick her up for therapy.  While I was at her house she was using the walker and then needed to do something, so just stood without hanging on to anything for quite a long time.  I was amazed and so thankful to God.  She said she can fold her laundry and do other things standing without having to hold on all the time.  Made this momma very happy.  We went a half hour early to therapy because Matthew wanted to see us and his appointment ended at 1.  We were there and were in the parking lot, but never saw him.  Melissa didn't have her phone so I texted him and he said his dad was in a hurry for an appointment so they had to leave right away.  Kimmy called and said she was at my house, so I took Melissa down and dropped her off for her therapy and then left and went to my house.  Loved having Kimmy and the boys there. (Wyatt too)  They are so nice and such a joy to have around.  I heated Kimmy up a bowl of noodle soup and then we visited and had a nice time.  Bruce picked up Melissa for me since she got out at 3:30 and he picks the kids up from school and could get there pretty quick after that.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac stopped over and surprised us by having Kenzie with them.  What a great surprise.   Loved having everyone here.  Jacob, Kimmy and I played a game of 3-13.  I finally beat them.  Vikki and the kids left to go to the parade before they had the road closed.  Kimmy, Eli and I went to find a case for Eli's iPad Rody gave him.  We went to Ollies, but didn't see anything there so went to 5 Below and found a nice one. Eli was pretty excited and wanted to try it out right away. We got home and the kids picked up everything and they left for home.  Bill and I decided to go to Applebees since I didn't have anything out to thaw.  Had a nice dinner and then came home and watched a movie.  I got all of my motorcycle stuff ready for tomorrow morning's ride.

9/27/18...Got some of the attic stuff sorted and put away, Went on a motorcycle ride, and tried out our new helmets and headphones, Showed a movie tonight with Faith Riders at the Rescue Mission

Love the new helmet and love being able to take to Bill though our headphones. Put my sunshield down and my face shield down.  Love that it has both of those features.

Bill loves his helmet and headphones too

The workers didn't show up again today.  I called and Bob and he said his truck broke down.  I told him he could have called to let us know he wasn't coming.  I got some stuff sorted and put back in the attic.  Got our air conditioners put away too.  Went for a ride on the motorcycle to try out our new helmets and headphones.  The headphones were nice and love being able to hear the radio through them.  Nice to be able to talk to each other while we are riding. Went and picked up popcorn at Goodrich theaters. They gave us tons of it in a big bag.  Showed the movie "Courageous"  It was sure a great movie with a lot packed into it.  Loved it and so did all the guys that were there.  We had 13 come watch it tonight.  Always love going to the Rescue Mission.
