Fall has arrived and we have seen some beautiful colors!  Bill has been working on cleaning out the woods behind our house.  I took this picture for him and put it on facebook and asked if anyone noticed anything.  I was seeing if they would notice the deer behind the smoke.  Well many noticed so much more:  a funny face, an angel, a cross, and Angie noticed smoke signals telling Angie to come home.  Also putting on some of my favorite summer pictures!

 

 

Yesterday Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over as Kimmy was going to stop at our house after shopping.  Warmed up spaghetti for them.  Kimmy and Eli came and she had to wake Eli up after he fell asleep in the van.  He was still tired so didn't want anything to eat right away.  Got him to eat dry cereal later.  Kimmy and I walked out to our woods that Bill is cleaning out and looked at it.  Bill and I had to leave at 2:15 to go to stay in our free room at the Soaring Eagle Hotel.  He got a hero's club card for being a veteran.  Nice to see him honored for serving our country.  We can stay once a month overnight for free.  First we met a lady who wanted to buy Peyton's baby clothes.  Vikki asked if we would drop them off to her as she lived in Mt. Pleasant.  Then we went and got our room.  It was very nice and right next door to the room we had last time.  We went to the Indian Museum next and then went to Applebee's for a steak dinner.  We were stuffed when we left.   Bill and I went for a nice swim and then sat in the jacussi.  Talked to two couples.  One told us about how she had cancer, then a heart attack, etc.  She was pretty young when all these things happened.  She was a definite miracle and her husband was so caring and stood by her side.  We got to share about what God did for Melissa with them and the other couple.   Went back to our room and played 3-13.  Then went to bed.  In the morning we stopped at Tim Horton's for coffee, a French vanilla cap with pumpkin spice and banana nut muffins.  We went to Sanford to a funeral for Leslie's Alpin's sister, Linda.
At with them at the meal afterward and then headed home.  Picked up Mocha from Vikki's and visited with Mykenzie until Vikki got home.  Came home and watched a couple Christian Movies.

 

Hailey singing in church 8/29/10

Hailey did a really good job singing in church today. She only got to practice on one Sunday before singing because she was camping the second Sunday they practiced. They decorated their own masks and capes. The song was "Jesus You're My Super Hero". We were so proud of her. I took videos, but couldn't get them on here. Someone will have to help me with that.

Bill's Birthday 8/28/10

All the kids and grandkids came over to have ice cream cake and celebrate Bill's birthday. It was lots of fun. The grandkids,(all but Eli who was sleeping) climbed on Papa and you could hardly see him in the picture. What fun they all are.
Bill and I went out to dinner at Outback to celebrate. We had a great time and the food was really good. Kimmy and Jared were still at the house when we got home so Bill and Jared got to play ping pong. I think Jared beat his father in law on his birthday. Can you believe that.

8/13/10...Eli's first time spending the night by himself at Nana and Papa's House

Kimmy had her surgery today and had to spend the night in the hospital. I picked up Eli from Melissa's and brought him home with me to spend his first night. He is such an easy going baby. So cute and cuddly. He drank his bottles good, but he sure likes to move his tongue when he eats his regular food. More comes out than goes in. He went to bed good and didn't wake up until about 5am. Jacob and Adam are spending the night at Aunt Missy's.

8/24/10 Jack watching Bruce work on a puzzle! I think he knows the answers and is helping daddy!

Kimmy and Jared brought their new toy over tonight. We all took a turn driving it.
Such fun. I was a little nervous driving it. Jared really found a gas saver in nice weather.
