7/20/17....Went to Kimmy's, Took our Camper to the Island for them to use for the bands for Rock the Island to change in,

Jacob, Adam and Eli had tadpoles in this washtub and they are tree frogs now. They are so tiny.  There is one green one.

Me and Adam

Adam, Jacob and Eli....I got extra big long hugs today to last me while they are having fun in Copper Harbor.
This is one of the triplets that Kimmy and Jared bottle-fed.  The triplets are so big and healthy now. So friendly too!  This one let me pet him for a long time.

Kenzie wanted to do a selfie in the bathroom mirror

We went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and this chair was so soft and comfy

Kenzie made me a smoothie when we got home
I got up and got ready to got to Kimmy's.  Stopped at McDonalds and got the boys each a chocolate chip cookie on my way.  We sat outside for a while and visited and drank our coffee, then walked around and looked at Kimmy's flowers.  They are looking so nice.  She trimmed Eli and Jacob's hair while I visited with her.  She does an amazing job.  We packed up the pottery they are taking to Copper Harbor with them.  The boys are such great helpers.  Jacob was trying to beat me, but we slowed him down because we didn't want anything to break.  We went for a swim in the pool after that.  It was so nice and I sure appreciated the cool down.  I got plenty of hugs from my boys to last while they are gone to Copper Harbor.  I had my timer set for an hour because I had to get home to go with Bill to take the 5th wheel to the island for Rock the Island for those in the bands to change in.  I left Kimmy's and she called me right away because I forgot my thermos mug I love.  She was a sweetie and drove to her corner to meet me to give it to me.  Wes was there with his 5th wheel when we got there.  Bill set the outside up and I set the inside up.  We went home and Bill got another cord to take to them to use.  I went to get Kenzie to spend the night.  We stopped at Tim Horton's for a sandwich and ate outside.  We shared some yummy banana caramel crunch ice cream. I wasn't getting any, but she wanted to share hers.  After one bite, I was happy to help eat it.  We went by a garage sale on our way home and I asked Kenzie if she wanted to stop.  She said yes so I turned around.  We were looking at stuff and the lady asked me if my name was Linda.  I said no, but my sister's name was Linda.  She said I had a twin.  I heard her talking to her sister saying the person's name was Linda Schultz.  I told her my sister's name was Linda Schultz.  She told me her name and mentioned where we used to live when I was 15.  Here it was a good friend of ours and my sister's best friend back then.  I gave her a big hug and talked to her about knowing the Lord.  She said she does know Him.  She has been married 50 years now.  Good thing she recognized me because I sure didn't recognize her, but her voice sounded the same as it used to.  Her name was Cindy Richards.  Sure was happy to get to see her.  Wish my sister was still alive as I sure kept wanting to tell her.  I told Kenzie she was the most beautiful girl in school back then and Kenzie said, "Your more beautiful than she is now"  Got to treasure those grandkids and their love.  We went shopping at Bed, Bath and Beyond because she had a $30 gift card Trever's mom gave her and she wanted to use it.  We came home and I made Bill a BLT and veggies.  Kenzie made us smoothies too.  They were yummy and she made them look very pretty.  He had to run to Kroger's and Kenzie wanted to go to her mom's house so we went.  Bill was there when we got there.  He had gotten a tablet with his wedding money and wanted Rody to see it.

7/20/17..walked at Sportszone, Went shopping, Went on ice cream run on motorcycle with Faith Riders. Last night of VBS for grandkids at our church

Bill, Elaine, Renee, Rick, Bill, Sabrina, Melissa, Joaquin, Victoria, Dan T. and Dan, Matt and Lupe

Went to walk at the Sportszone.  Only walked 2 miles because they had redone the floor and I didn't like the smell in there.  Came home and got my Bible and went to McDonalds for a breakfast burrito and my free Frappe.  Sat and read my Bible there and then left and went to Kroger's.  After that I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and got a 10 ft. charger cord that works for my I phone and Bill's Android.  I had a gift card to use.  Went to Meijer's and got veggies, fruit and bread.  When I got home I made BLT's for Bill and I.  Picked some string beans to cook for supper.  Also made cucumbers the way my mom and great grandma made them.  So yummy.  Made chicken, peas, potatoes and had applesauce for dinner too.  After dinner we went to Merrill for a motorcycle ice cream run.  It was very hot out, but felt cool on the motorcycle with the breeze.  We had a new couple come that Bill and I had met and talked to at the Shields Festival in our booth.  They were very nice and the mom's name was Melissa and her 7 year old daughter was Victoria so I didn't have any trouble remembering their names.  Wes and Gayla had invited us to their house afterwards because their son, Michael and his wife Kathy were here for the week from Maryland.  They gave us big hugs when we walked in which was nice.  We had a nice visit with them, Wes and Gayla and Joel.

7/19/17...Got the inside of the camper all cleaned, clean sheets on beds, floors scrubbed and windows washed. Vikki came over while the kids were at VBS and we relaxed in our hammocks

Isaac and Peyton with Pasia's group

Peyton and Isaac in the dance group

Vikki and my view of our yard from our hammocks

My friend, Vikki's, grandson is so cute trying to lock the door.  He sure is getting big
Got up early and was going to walk, but decided to clean the camper instead so I could do it while it was cool.  Put on worship music and started cleaning.  Washed blankets and rugs from the camper and hung them to dry.  Washed windows, vacuumed and scrubbed floors,  cleaned light fixtures, and whatever needed cleaning.  It was a good job to get done.  Watered the plants Kimmy brought me so they wouldn't die.  Vikki called when it was time for the kids to Go to VBS and she came here while she waited for them to get done.  We hung out in our hammocks.  Did lots of laughing and had fun.
Tonight Isaac loved it.  Peyton didn't.  Probably because of her foot and having to use the walker.  Bill was asked to be he head comadant for the Marine Corp. League because the person who is wasn't able to be there.  He was so happy.  They ended up cancelling the meeting though.  He went and just had coffee and talked with some of the guys in it.  We watched Highway to Heaven.

7/18/17...Went to breakfast, Bill had to go to the VA Hospital to a class so he didn't go. We power washed the camper, car and truck.

The car/truck/camper wash was open at our house today

Bill getting the power washer ready to wash my car.  He did the spraying, I did the brushing.

The camper sure cleaned up nice

I went to breakfast while Bill went to his appointment to learn about diabetes at the VA Hospital.
Charlie, Sue, Phyllis, Andy, Sandy, Louise and I were the only ones at breakfast.  I was going to put Ginny's dad on our prayer list but asked Louise for her prayer request first.  She asked me to write down Becky's friend who had surgery and was in Cleveland.  Becky lives in Petosky.  It was Ginny's dad that Louise was wanting prayer for.  Sure is a small world.  Becky was real good friends with Ginny's mom when were young and Ginny is real good friends with Melissa. I stopped at Melissa's for a few minutes after breakfast.  Max and Jack were there alone while Melissa was at the store, so I just walked to the back so they could see it was me.  Max opened the door and gave he a huge hug right away.  Then Jack came and gave me a hug.  I asked Jack to see his lego set he built that we got him for his birthday and he asked Max if it was ok to take me down in the basement.  Thought it was nice how he checked with Max first because he was watching him.  We all went down and they showed me lots of things they build with legos.  They were so cute.  I should have taken a picture.  Melissa, Hailey, Livia, Evan and Connor got home shortly after.  Livia came and gave me a real big hug. She's always happy to see me.  It was birthday so I wished her a happy birthday.  When I got home Bill and I decided to wash the camper.  Sure is nice to have that job done.

Papa Bill, Jacob, Eli, me and Adam
Isaac, Adam, Jacob, Eli and Peyton with Lenny

Lenny decided to lay down and wait for the kids to look at the camera

I went to Sportszone and walked for two miles.  Went to Pat's and hung a flyer for Rock the Island.
Got home and filled the oriole feeders and bird feeders.  Kimmy and the boys got here shortly after.
We ate lunch and then we girls went to thrift stores.  We all found treasures.  This is probably the last time I will see Kimmy and the boys until they get back from Copper Harbor so I got extra hugs.  Vikki got a little walker for Peyton at Underground Railroad Thrift Store.  She does much better with that than she did with her crutches.  They made under her arms hurt.  She sure goes good with this!  The kids had lots of fun with the legos again.  They sure are creative.  Kimmy, Jacob, Adam and Eli left.  Sure will miss them when they are gone, but sure am happy they go and have so much fun with Jared's family.  Praying already for all of their safe trips.  Rody came and brought grilled hot dogs and hamburgs for us to have for dinner.  I made green beans from the garden and salad.  He and Vikki gave us a very nice television and he also hooked that up.  Thank you so much Vikki and Rody.  After we ate and cleaned up, Vikki and I hung our hammocks and relaxed outside.  Peyton joined us.  They are so comfy.  We did have to fight off some mosquitos so Vikki sprayed.  I just closed my hammock up.  They don't like me too much so don't get too many mosquito bites.

Jack wanted his mom to send a picture of the lego set we got him put together.  This is the first part of it.
Bill preached today at the Nazarene church in Shields.  Melissa, Bruce, Hailey, Max, Jack, Evan, Vikki, Rody, Peyton, Isaac, Debbie, Dennis, Amy, Sue, Charlie, Cheryl, Arnie, (and his daughter),
Gary Edland and his wife, Chuck Wade, Mark and Marti all came to hear him and support him.  What a blessing to have such wonderful family and friends.  It meant so much to Bill to have them come.  It was a small church, but the people there were so sweet.  The pastor there has a great testimony and is going to come to our Faith Rider's meeting to share it.  Bill's message was on sharing the testimony God gives us and also the way we live is a testimony.  It was a very good message.  We went with Mark,Marti, Arnie and Cheryl and their family to Tepanakki's Grill for lunch.  It was delicious and we had fun visiting.  Came home and we each took a nap.  Went to Bruce and Melissa's in the evening for Jack's birthday party. The cake was amazing and very delicious too!   It was so much fun and Jack was so happy.

7/16/17 Bill did the wedding ceremony for Bev and Jim. It was beautiful.

Bill married this sweet couple today

Peyton on her crutches
Picked beans and dug up some plants for Kimmy which Bruce and Melissa picked up and took to her because they were taking Eli home.  Got ready for the wedding Bill was doing.  He me this couple at the Shield's fest where we had our Faith Rider's Booth set up.  He talked with Jim and then they started coming to our church and then asked him to marry them.  We got with them to go over wedding plans on Wednesday night and Bev was so sick she needed to go home.  She has been battling cancer.  We told her about all of the miracles we have seen God do and then we prayed for her before she left.  Well today she did amazing for her wedding and she got a report from the doctor that we had prayed about and she is in remission.  We are praising the Lord!  God is Awesome!!!  Bill did a wonderful job on the ceremony.  I was blessed because my friend Ruth Ann was there who I haven't seen in a long time and we got to talk, share, hug and tell each other we loved each other.  She has been in my prayers, but I didn't know how to contact her.  God is so good and so amazing!!!
We are continuing to pray for Peyton's foot as it is swelling and hurts her.
