Sunday, 10/25/26, Met up with Bev and Jim and ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel, spent the day traveling home with stops for bathroom breaks and gas, happy when we got home safely, Happy to talk to the girls,

Bev, Jim, Me and Bill at Cracker Barrel for breakfast

Color in Indiana was still kind of pretty

Michigan had some pretty spots where there was still color

Us following Jim and Bev...we followed them from Effingham, IL to Birch Run in Michigan

We got up, got ready, went in Cracker Barrel to go to the bathroom.  I did some looking around in the store while I waited for Bill.  We left around 7:30 in the morning.  We drove and got on the expressway, and Jim and Bev passed us.  We were so happy to see them and they were happy to see us.  Bev called me to see if we had eaten breakfast.  We hadn’t so we drove to the Cracker Barrel in Terri Haute and had a nice breakfast.  They had the fireplace going by us and it felt great.  After breakfast, we led for a while, then stopped for gas at a Love’s when it was time.  Jim led after that for a while.  We were so happy to see the Welcome Michigan sign.  It is always great to get back.  We traded in Michigan and we led when we got closer to Birch Run.  We were both dumping our tanks there.  Bev and Jim had to take their dogs out though so they told us to go first so we wouldn’t have to wait.

We got home around 7 and unpacked stuff right away while it was still light.  I decided to empty the refrigerator too because I wanted to be able to turn it off.  So I had to do that after dark.  Bill helped carry food baskets in.  I sent a text to the girls letting them know I was home and called them later.  I’m always happy to get back to them and hear their voices.  Can’t wait til I see them.  Bill’s always the same way.  We love our family.

Bill had to read his Bible because he didn’t have time in the morning.  I had gotten up early and had read mine.  After doing the food, I was happy I had mine read already.

Bill did a great job driving the motorhome all the way to Arkansas and back home.  I am
happy he is a great driver.

Sat. 10/24/26, Packed up everything, Bill hooked the trailer up to the motorhome with my guidance, he loaded the bike on the trailer after Ziggy brought it up, Ziggy prayed for us and then went to the morning service, we took off after we were all ready, had a beautiful ride on a beautiful day. We stopped at Lamberts again in Sikeston, Missouri. Then we drove til we got to Effingham, Illinois, then stopped at a Cracker Barrel for the night. I was around 9..

There was a big ole wasp on the top of the mirror on the right.  I couldn’t wait to get going so he would blow off.  I sure wasn’t taking him home with us.
Bill in the phone booth at Lambert’s in Sikeston

Me in the phone booth
We both got chicken strips dinners
I got 6 huge chicken strips, cottage cheese and chunky applesauce, Bill caught us each 2 rolls which are huge, then they bring around pass around bowls of fried okra, fried potatoes with onions, macaroni and tomatoes, and black eyed peas.  We didn’t eat any black eyed peas.  Bill didn’t have any fried okra either,  Everything was so good.  The waitress brought us 2 extra rolls to take home, plus we had 2 left we didn’t eat.  We took 4 of our chicken strips home and I took some fried potatoes.  We ate left overs for 2 days.

Bill did a great job driving all day and into the evening.  The country side was beautiful.  We only stopped for gas/potty breaks.  We ate lunch in the camper while we were going.  I cut up chicken strips for Bill and he ate a roll.  I had the same thing only had potatoes with mine.  We snacked during our drive too and listened to Christian music I had on my playlist on my phone.  We enjoyed our stop at Lambert’s for dinner again.  Such a fun place with great food and friendly waitresses and waiters and roll throwers.  We called Bev and Jim while we were waiting 30 minutes to get seated.  It ended up being 20 minutes.  They were 45 minutes behind us and we were just getting seated, so couldn’t wait for them.  We drove a couple of more hours and stopped to stay in a Cracker Barrel in Effingham, Illinois.  We didn’t even play a game after driving all day.  We relaxed, then went to bed early.  Thankful to the Lord for keeping everyone safe today.  We talked to Cindy and they were staying in a Cracker Barrel in Terri Haute a ways ahead of us.  Bev and Jim were staying in a town about the same distance behind us.  Russ and Marsha were staying in Indiana near Indianapolis at a hotel.  Travel will be resumed for all of us tomorrow.  Gayla texted me during the day to see where we were and how we were doing.  I kept her posted all day and let her know where we stopped for the night.

Friday, 10/23/26, Went to the evening service, 1,881 was the final registration total. What a blessed week of worship and teachings, fellowship and great food. We have much to thank God for. Now we are ready to get home to our family.

Thursdays total registered
Friday’s total registered..praise God...so awesome worshipping with so many believers in Jesus!
This whole area and both sides of it were full and the whole back area behind us where we have meals was completely full.

We hugged friends and told them goodbye as we will be leaving in the morning.  Lew and Cindy, Bev and Jim, and Marsha and Russ are leaving tomorrow morning too.  Marsha and Russ are riding their motorcycle all the way back to Alma to his brothers and then loading it on their trailer and driving the rest of the way home.  We are all praying for each other and all who will be leaving in the days after us.

We went back to the camper and visited with Ziggy.  We made our plan for the next morning on when we would be leaving.  Ziggy is going to pick up our trailer from the field and bring it up for us.  It is a little rough on a motorhome going down there.  He always does it for us.  He is staying another day and sleeping in his Jeep.  He has a mattress in it so said he will be fine.  I told Gayla he was staying and she said he could stay with them.  She told him the next day, but he said he would be fine in his Jeep and was leaving at 5 in the morning, so he didn’t want to wake them.  We went to bed at 10:30 and the plan was to leave at 9 in the morning.

Ziggy came back to the camper with a purple hat.  I got my purple hat out that I got the first day goodies opened.  Ziggy wanted to take a selfie.

The morning service was really good.  We got to go because Debbie and Paul volunteered to go prepare the meal today.  They only needed one couple.  After the morning service, we looked at Run for the Son sale Tables, and went into goodies.  Looked at silent auction stuff.  Bill has a bid on a half helmet, Russ has a bid on an old jean vest with an indentation of the CMA logo instead of a patch, and Ziggy has a bid on a half helmet.  Russ saw someone with the jean vest on and thought is was so cool, but knew it was very old so didn’t think he would be able to get one.  There were 3 and two were his size.  Marsha and Russ came to visit, then at one, we left to go on our ride.  We lost Wes, Gayla, Betty and Mel, when they had to change lanes and were behind big semi’s and had a semi on the side of them.  They missed the turn.  We didn’t notice they were missing until, Wes called me and I found out they were in Mt. Ida.  It was too far to turn around and come all the way where we were, so the four of them ate in Mt. Ida and we ate in the train car.  Bummer they weren’t with us.
Wes, Gayla, Betty and Mel at a cute restaurant in Mt. Ida.  I’m glad they at least had each other’s company when we got separated.

We got back to Mena and all went for ice cream in town.  When we were leaving, Debbie looked for her phone and couldn’t find it.  Paul checked his phone finder app and her phone showed up in Oklahoma at the restaurant parking lot.  They went to their motel, got their truck and drove 60 miles back to the restaurant.  We went back to the camper and got ready for the evening service.  Bill and Ziggy wore purple hats.  I lent Bill mine.

Me and Jane without hats lol

They found Debbie’s  phone.  It had tracks over it, but it worked perfectly.  Yay!  They headed back and a group of deer crossed the road in front of them.  God protected them.  They made it back to the evening service in time to get in the group picture we were taking.  God sure worked everything out.  We were all thanking Him and praising Him.
The service was so amazing and the worship was so amazing too.  The Holy Spirit was present and moving.

Wed, 10/21/26, Volunteered to work at support center to make breakfast, than lunch for the Directors of CMA, fun and good fellowship, BeBo and his wLife, Jim and Linda, Ralph and Cheryl, and a couple other people we didn’t know helped too, Rayleen stopped to say hi and thanked us, we got to eat both meals, when the food was delivered back to us. Walked around venders with Ziggy, then went to goodies and walked through it, went to CMA 101 class with Russ and Marsha, out to eat at Papa’s with Marsha, Russ, Lew, Cindy, and Ziggy, back to camper and visited with Ziggy, then to evening service which was awesome

Evening service at Colors on first night

First night of Colors Rally...Jared and Jennifer sharing the word and the total registration so far.

Jerry and Darrel leading worship...They are anointed and filled with the Spirit.  Awesome worship

John Ogden Sr.  is the CEO of CMA.  He gave the first message and it was a really good one.

We volunteered to work at the Support Center from 8a.m. until 1p.m. today. We worked with Jim and Linda Hall, Cheryl and Ralph, Loretta and Bebo, and some others we didn’t know.  We made breakfast first, then did dishes and cleaned everything up.  They brought the extra food back downstairs and we all got to eat what we wanted.  Then we made dinner which was baked small potatoes with onions and seasoning, huge chicken breast quarters, carrots and green beans, plus rolls.  There was lemon pie for dessert.  The Directors told us it was the best meal they’ve had there.  Big compliment which we were grateful for.
We cleaned up after lunch too and waited for them to bring the leftovers down.  Then we got to eat that meal too.  It was busy with two meals to make, but still fun serving together.  Rayleen stopped in to say thank you to us too.  She is always the sweetest.  She used to be our National Evangelist with her husband in Michigan.

When we got back to the camper, Ziggy was just getting back too.  We walked around the vendors and looked at stuff with him.  After that we went to Goodies with him and walked through that. Then we went to CMA 101 Class with Marsha and Russ, Lew and Cindy, and Ziggy.  Then we all went to Papa’s to eat Mexican food.  They put cut up Jalapeños in Marsha and Russ’s fish taco’s, so their’s mouths were on fire.  They had listed that on the menu.  Poor Marsha was about in tears as her esophagus felt on fire.  When we got back to the pavilion she got some ice cream and that finally helped.  We went back to the camper after that and visited more with Ziggy. Then we went to the evening service which was awesome.  Great worship, awesome worship and prayer for anyone who wanted it.  Lots of great fellowship afterwards.

We visited more with Ziggy, then got ready and went to bed at 10.  Ziggy said he is really sleeping great on the bed that lowers over the driver seat.  We are all on the go a lot, but it works out good for him to stay with us.  We get in the Word of God together, know a lot of the same people and He loves the Lord like we do and we love riding motorcycles on these great roads here.
