This is how they made it. They saw it on Facebook and tried it. It was delicious and Bill was so happy
We met everyone at Meijer's and then headed to Shield of Faith. Before the service started, they had Bill and I stand up front and had someone walk a birthday cake with candles up the aisle while everyone sang Happy Birthday to Bill. Pastor shared with everyone how we were one of three couples that started the church. They were so sweet to us. They did an amazing worship song of Kari Jobe's I had never heard before. The associate pastor, Mike, gave the message. It was really good. We rode our bikes to the Rustic Inn afterwards and Pastor and Kathy, Chuck and Jackie, Pastor Mike and his wife and another couple from the church came with us. There were 14 of us from Faith Rider's who went. I had a yummy turkey, ranch sandwich. It was so good. After we ate, we came home and I made a dump cake really quick so I could take it to the potluck. Also took potato salad. We ate when we got there and then sat in a circle and talked for a while, then played games. Got to play yardzie. Called Vikki to let her know we were coming home and she, Peyton and Isaac were there when we got there. They gave Bill a braided bread they had made for him. Bill loves bread so was very happy. The kids were happy when we put candles in the cake and sang to Papa. Then we all ate some cake.
