Tuesday, 9/30/25, Bill had VA appt, in Detroit, I went to my dr. appt.,..it was the wrong day, it’s next month, Facetimed with Kenzie, went shopping, packed stuff in camper

I washed all the oriole and hummingbird feeders and then sprayed them down with the hose really good.  Great job to have done.
All dry and ready to put away

Still some beautiful blooms on my Hibiscus, Dianthus, and Autumn Joy,

Looks a little bare under the tree with no orange or red feeders
Beautiful rose in front of the house
Thes plants probable won’t last much longer, but I sure am still enjoying them
Max and Papa...we all sure had a nice time talking while we ate our meal at Culver’s.  I sure do love this grandson!

Kenzie sent me this picture of Rehvyn.  It looks like he fell asleep praying.  He loves to pray!

Bill had a VA appt. in Detroit at 10 this morning.  He got up early and got ready.  I had a 10 appointment with an orthopedic doctor this morning, or at least I thought I did.  I went and found out it is for next month.  Bummer!  I could have went to Detroit with Bill.  Kenzie FaceTimed me so I got to talk to her and Rehvyn which I love doing.  He is so cute and is saying everything so clear now.

I packed more things in the camper and washed the rugs and put them down.  I painted one spot on the step that I missed when I painted before.  I went shopping at Meijer, then to Jack’s for bird seed (they now have a 50 lb. bag of sunflower seeds for $24.99.  That seems like a great deal.  It is a pretty big bag, so I might see if someone wants to split one with me.
I went to Walmart after that and got some toilet chemicals for our trip.  Then I headed home and unloaded everything.  I read my Bible,   I worked on my Bible Study lesson for a while too.  Then I was tired so tried to nap, but. couldn’t, so went outside and put stuff in the camper, painted a little tiny spot, then washed all of the oriole and hummingbird feeders.
I walked around the flower garden and the plants are still looking nice.

Bill got back from his Detroit appointment.  It went well.  They are going to watch the bones in his leg from the knee surgery and see him once a year.  I told him he needs to not be climbing ladders and cutting big limbs any more.  One fall or injury could disable him.  He feels like the bone is loose.  They think it is a little and said surgery would be really difficult and would lay him up for 6 months.  Be careful and take care of it is my advice to him.

He took Max to an appointment, then when he picked him up, they called me to see if I wanted to meet them at Culvers to get something to eat.  Of course I said yes.  We had such a nice time with Max.  He sure was talkative.  He showed us the AI Robot dog that his dad took a picture with in Chicago.  Pretty cool, but I don’ really like AI.  I think they will be using it lots for the wrong things.

We came home and I worked more on my Bible Study lesson, then put pictures on my blog.  I didn’t finish it because I had to figure out a way to send Bill the 2025 Michigan pictures of Events I took so he could send them to Jay.  I couldn’t send them to anyone, but finally sent them to my phone and could send them to Bill so he can label them and send them.

Monday, 9/29/25, Bill took Max to college, Kenzie and Rehvyn came over, worked on Bible Study, washed rugs for camper, went to Marie and Roy’s to celebrate her birthday.

Rehvyn sleeping in his car seat after he left here.  I forgot to take pictures of him having fun when he was here.  Bummer!

Called on my Rinvoq medicine and go it ordered.  Bill left to go take Max to College and then went get a belt for the tractor.  He ended up having to go to Reese to get one.  I put on some awesome worship music by Phil Wickhams and worshiped.  Then I read my Bible, then started doing my Bible Study homework and more Bible reading.  Kenzie called and was close by heading to Aunt Kimmy’s, so she called to see if I wanted them to stop in.  Of course I said yes!  She got Rehvyn out of his car seat and he let me hold him for a few minutes, then he wanted down and when I put him down, he headed up the sidewalk, wanted inside, so we opened the door and he headed right for the family room and got the shopping cart full of toys.  He got the truck out to show me.  Then Kenzie asked him if he wanted to go down the slide, so she carried him downstairs.  He went down about 4 times and then Kenzie went down once.  Rehvyn wanted me to go down, but I passed on that.  He had a pack of BelVita snacks I gave him so he wanted to eat one of those.  Kenzie put the shopping cart away and then I walked out with them to the car.  Rehvyn said bye so sweetly and several times as he was waving.  He also gave me a fist bump.  Kenzie called when she was almost to Kimmy’s and sent me a picture of Rehvyn sound asleep in his car seat.  I talked to her until she pulled into Kimmy’s driveway.

Bill got home and went out to the shed to put the belt on the tractor..  He mowed the grass after he got it on.  The lawn was getting pretty long.  It looks so nice now.

I sat on the deck and went over my Camping list to see what I still need to pack for our Arkansas Camping trip.  Kit Kat sat next to me so I gave her some attention which she loved.

After dinner, which was goulash, I went to Marie and Roys for her 87th birthday.  I took a yummy chocolate cake and caramel swirl ice cream.  Marie said both were her favorite.  I also took her a vase of flowers which she loved.  She was so happy I came.  I found a perfect card for her.  She is such a great friend a such an encourager in the Lord and a prayer warrior.  Bill was tired out from all he did today, so he didn’t go.  We sang Happy Birthday and then had our cake and ice cream.  Then she had me put the flowers in her family room where she spends most of her time.  It was great seeing her walk back there with her walker.  We had a great visit.  Roy came back later.  Before I left, we all had a time of praying for each other.  They are such blessings to me from the Lord.

I left and came back after dark.  It was so nice driving my car with lights that actually worked.  I could see so well.  Melissa called and just told me to call her when I get home.

I tried calling her but got no answer, so she called me back.  I finished my blog which I started this morning.  Bill had the garage out by the road already.  He has a 10 a.m. appt in Detroit tomorrow and I have a 10 a.m. appt. with the Orthopedic doctor tomorrow.  Bummer I can’t go to Detroit with him.  He didn’t give me the date of his appt. until it was too late.  We will be going to bed earlier so we can get up nice and early.

Sunday, 9/28/25, Went to 9 a.m. church service, went to prayer, went to second service, went to Carol’s, took communion, ate delicious Bavarian Inn Chicken dinner, watched football and some baseball, had cake, cleaned camper for trip, Bill put new lights in my car,

Carol, me, Angie, and Bill
Carol made Bill’s favorite sheet cake.  She had aluminum foil over it and when Bill uncovered it we all got a laugh because she had cut the center pieces out of it.  Bill’s facial expression was priceless.  He always takes the middle pieces when he gets his cake.  She had them hid and he did get one middle piece.
When we got home, Bill put new headlights in my car for me.  I could hardly see anything with the other lights.  When it got dark, I took it for a ride and what a difference.  I sure can see really good now.  Thank you so much Bill.

Bill woke me up this morning and said aren’t you getting up!!!  I forgot to set my alarm.  I got up right away and started getting ready.  The next thing I know, he’s saying are you ready to leave.  I wasn’t.  I sure did hurry and got ready fast.  We made it to church in order for him to have time to pray for pastor with the other Elders.  The worship team did amazing today.  Such awesome worship to glorify God.  Pastor gave a good message too on church leadership.  After the service Bill and I prayed for people.  The couple we prayed for and then the girl we prayed for after them were all new to our church.  God is moving and bringing young people to Him.  I went to prayer between services.  It was awesome too.  Then I came back in for the second service and Sue was sitting where we sit.  I was so happy to see her.  We prayed for people again after the second service and prayed for another young girl who had been coming 3 times.  We also prayed for Sue for her heart issues and for Osteoporosis which she has been diagnosed with.  We talked with people after church, then came home and relaxed for a few minutes, then headed to Bill’s sister Carol’s.  Angie was there and this is her last full day before she flies home tomorrow.  Carol had ordered  a Bavarian Inn Family Style Chicken dinner to go and Angie picked it up.  Carol also made a yummy sheet cake.  She told me I couldn’t bring anything.  We watched the Lion’s game and when it was half time, Bill led us in reading the Bible and taking communion.  Carol confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior and then we all took communion together.  Remembering what Jesus did for us is always so moving and hearing Scripture about it from the Word of God was awesome.  After that, Angie and I warmed up the food and we all ate.  Then we watched the second half of the Lion’s game.  It was a great game and they won!  We turned the Tiger’s game on then to see how they were doing.  They were behind one point.  They ended up losing.  We turned it to the Kansas City Chief game which is Angie’s team and watched that game too.  They won too!  We visited more and had our dessert.  The trick Carol played on Bill was pretty funny.  We left after that, because Bill broke a belt on the John Deere yesterday and had to take it off so he can put a new one on tomorrow.  He also put new headlights in my car which are amazing.  I am very thankful to be able to see good.  I talked to Vikki, then we FaceTimed so I could see Rehvyn and he could see me.  I also got to talk to Peyton and Isaac and see them.  I hung up so I could take my car for a ride and test the lights, but Marie called me right as I was heading out the door.  She had called me earlier and said she was going to ER, and now she was calling to let me know what happened.  She was home and they had checked everything out and changed some medication.  She just needs to see her doctor tomorrow for a followup.  So happy it was nothing serious.
I took my car for the ride and it was was so much better.  When I got home, I texted Evan to see how he liked Homecoming.  It was his first one.  He said he had so much fun.  He said the girl he took was really nice too.  I texted Jack too.  He had a great time too.  This is his first one he went to also.  Melissa called me and we talked for a long time and I got all the details about homecoming.  I love hearing about family adventures.

Adam, Jack, Max, Connor and Evan

We left at 8:30 a.m. to go to Faith Rider’s Hide and Seek Ride.  We had a good turn out.  We had donut holes and coffee and visited with everyone until 10.  Then we all went on the ride to go to find the places and take our pictures by them.  We had fun hanging out with the new Tawas CMA Chapter.  Such a nice fun group.  We rode to Caro and did a gas fill up stop, then went to the Dairy Queen and took our CMA Michigan Challenge Ride picture.  Valerie did her picture there too because she is doing the challenge ride.  We hung out for a while there, then rode to the Octagon Barn and got our picture there for today’s ride.  When we were almost there, we came to a corner and Wes, Gayla, Cheryl and Arnie were at the stop sign at the corner we turned at.  Wow, that was amazing since they left way later than we did.  It was nice to ride the rest of the way to the Octagon Barn together and hang out there together.  We had fun talking there and getting to know the people from Tawas better.
We left there and headed to a little Park.  Wes and Gayla waited for one of our new riders, so they got there a few minutes after we did.  We got pictures there and visited some more.  Then we went to our third stop which was Ubly Dragway.  I had never been there before but had heard of it.  We stopped and got our picture by the sign there too for today’s ride in order to win prizes when we got back.  We stopped and had lunch at the Charmont Restaurant.  It was very good.  Bill had chicken strips and I had a Slim Jim.

We headed back to Saginaw and met at the church and hung out more.  Some ate hotdogs, but we were too full.  They drew a name to win a prize, then that person would draw the next name.  I picked a $25 Meijer card for my prize and Bill picked one too.  They had lots of nice prizes.   Almost everyone won a prize too.  It was a very fun day!  Bill and I helped take down all of the canopies and pack folding chairs away to go back into the church.  I tripped over a tie down that was from one of the canopies and was on the asphalt.  It was black so I didn’t see it but sure felt it around my foot when it tripped me.  I fell, but didn’t get hurt other than scraping my arm up a little.  I finished helping pack up.  When we were all done, Bill and I headed for home.  What a fun day, but we were sure glad to relax in our recliners.  I talked to Kimmy for a while, talked to Vikki for a while and talked to Melissa for a long time a couple of times.  Exciting night as three grandsons went to Homecoming.  I didn’t get a picture of Adam to post yet.
