Sunday, 9/28/25, Went to 9 a.m. church service, went to prayer, went to second service, went to Carol’s, took communion, ate delicious Bavarian Inn Chicken dinner, watched football and some baseball, had cake, cleaned camper for trip, Bill put new lights in my car,

Carol, me, Angie, and Bill
Carol made Bill’s favorite sheet cake.  She had aluminum foil over it and when Bill uncovered it we all got a laugh because she had cut the center pieces out of it.  Bill’s facial expression was priceless.  He always takes the middle pieces when he gets his cake.  She had them hid and he did get one middle piece.
When we got home, Bill put new headlights in my car for me.  I could hardly see anything with the other lights.  When it got dark, I took it for a ride and what a difference.  I sure can see really good now.  Thank you so much Bill.

Bill woke me up this morning and said aren’t you getting up!!!  I forgot to set my alarm.  I got up right away and started getting ready.  The next thing I know, he’s saying are you ready to leave.  I wasn’t.  I sure did hurry and got ready fast.  We made it to church in order for him to have time to pray for pastor with the other Elders.  The worship team did amazing today.  Such awesome worship to glorify God.  Pastor gave a good message too on church leadership.  After the service Bill and I prayed for people.  The couple we prayed for and then the girl we prayed for after them were all new to our church.  God is moving and bringing young people to Him.  I went to prayer between services.  It was awesome too.  Then I came back in for the second service and Sue was sitting where we sit.  I was so happy to see her.  We prayed for people again after the second service and prayed for another young girl who had been coming 3 times.  We also prayed for Sue for her heart issues and for Osteoporosis which she has been diagnosed with.  We talked with people after church, then came home and relaxed for a few minutes, then headed to Bill’s sister Carol’s.  Angie was there and this is her last full day before she flies home tomorrow.  Carol had ordered  a Bavarian Inn Family Style Chicken dinner to go and Angie picked it up.  Carol also made a yummy sheet cake.  She told me I couldn’t bring anything.  We watched the Lion’s game and when it was half time, Bill led us in reading the Bible and taking communion.  Carol confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior and then we all took communion together.  Remembering what Jesus did for us is always so moving and hearing Scripture about it from the Word of God was awesome.  After that, Angie and I warmed up the food and we all ate.  Then we watched the second half of the Lion’s game.  It was a great game and they won!  We turned the Tiger’s game on then to see how they were doing.  They were behind one point.  They ended up losing.  We turned it to the Kansas City Chief game which is Angie’s team and watched that game too.  They won too!  We visited more and had our dessert.  The trick Carol played on Bill was pretty funny.  We left after that, because Bill broke a belt on the John Deere yesterday and had to take it off so he can put a new one on tomorrow.  He also put new headlights in my car which are amazing.  I am very thankful to be able to see good.  I talked to Vikki, then we FaceTimed so I could see Rehvyn and he could see me.  I also got to talk to Peyton and Isaac and see them.  I hung up so I could take my car for a ride and test the lights, but Marie called me right as I was heading out the door.  She had called me earlier and said she was going to ER, and now she was calling to let me know what happened.  She was home and they had checked everything out and changed some medication.  She just needs to see her doctor tomorrow for a followup.  So happy it was nothing serious.
I took my car for the ride and it was was so much better.  When I got home, I texted Evan to see how he liked Homecoming.  It was his first one.  He said he had so much fun.  He said the girl he took was really nice too.  I texted Jack too.  He had a great time too.  This is his first one he went to also.  Melissa called me and we talked for a long time and I got all the details about homecoming.  I love hearing about family adventures.
