Sat. 9/20/25, Our niece Amanda had her baby girl today. She’s beautiful! Went to Breakfast West Branch Chapter made, it rained hard, lined up for group ride, 4 from the Tawas chapter came, it rained, went to Buccelli’s for pizza buffet, came back to campground, hung out with Marsha and Russ, Chili Cookoff, Kenzie’s chili won!, Yay

It was a rainy, wet ride for 50 miles

The Tawas chapter pulled into a parking lot because they couldn’t see good while riding.  It was a cozy restaurant where we all warmed up and had coffee.  Gary and Marie, Russ and Marsha and Jeff W. came back 40 minutes later.  Gary was leading the ride and didn’t stop for us to put our rain gear on.

Kenzie made my chili for the chili cookoff the day I ended up in ER for back pain.  I froze it and thawed it and cooked it tonight.  Her chili won the chili cookoff.  I’m so happy for her.  I renamed my recipe, Penny’s Award Winning Chili after I won 2 times at the Harley Dealer and 2 times at the CMA Leadership campout.  I had the recipe on the cupboard, but wouldn’t have been able to make it to take.  It was so sweet of Kenzie to make it for me.  She deserved to win for sure.  Thank you Kenzie.
