He loved playing with the remote car and was really good at it! We got up and went to breakfast with Bev and Jim at the food tent. We met a nice lady who was a worker and sat at her table. They served breakfast burritos today. They were good, but not my favorite! We walked through some buildings again. The guy who owned the beautiful dog in the picture let us pet his dog. He talked to me a long time in front of the big pole barn, and shared his testimony. He has been set free from alcohol for 5 years now. He seeks the Lord and quoted lots of scriptures. Now his ministry is to go where the homeless are and take blankets and hand out water. His dog is a therapy dog so he takes him and touches a lot of lives. He sure touched my heart. I met another brother I will see in heaven. I caught up with Bill and we decided we should go find the guy that said he would dump our tanks today. Bill finally called him and he said his son would come. They are pretty slow, so we put our slide outs in, Bill put the jacks up which are automatic and then I pulled the boards out. Because the boards were attached to what Kimmy, Vikki, Melissa and families got him for his birthday, I went around and just grabbed the long handles and pulled them it so easily. No more getting on the ground to do it! Yay! This camper is sure fast and easy to get ready to go. Bill rode the trike over to where our trailer was parked and left it there. He was walking back and someone gave him a ride in a golf cart. I had prayed that would happen because it was a long way away out of the area we were camping in and down the road. We decided to dump our tanks at a Loves gas station on the way a short distance away. We said goodbye to Bev and Jim and headed out! We drove straight home only stopping to dump the tanks and get gas once and stopping at a rest area to use the bathrooms once. I read my Bible and prayer books on the way. Tried to nap, but only rested. We snacked on the way. We got home at 4:30 and looked very dark in the direction of our house. It started raining right after he got the bike off and I drove my car back to put the stuff we needed to take in the house in. After we got everything in, I went to see Rehvyn at Vikki’s. I got to see Peyton and Issac too because they were home from school. Saw Rody too. I stayed until 8:15 because Isaac did an update on my phone. He showed me a lot of new things this phone does too. He’s always so helpful! I came home and Bill had dried the load of laundry I washed and had it folded and ready to put away. He had already put his stuff away. I washed the sheets from upstairs, dried them and then we both went upstairs and made the bed. We relaxed after that. Bill read his Bible while I was gone and power washed the camper and motorcycle. |
