Sunday, 5/31/26, went to the early service, taught Sunday School, teacher meeting after Sunday School, went to lunch with Jeff and Debbie, home and relaxed for a little while with a quick nap, sat on the deck and read my Bible, helped Bill with the pool filter, went to get new filter for inside it, finished filling the pool, helped Bill with the electric fence, watered the garden and the sod, cut a branch off the tree where the bird feeders hang,

Bill in the parking lot of TSC when he realized he had two different shoes on
They are pretty close in color and style so harder to realize than my black shoe and blue shoe I wore one time.
The pond looked nice and clear this morning and the fish were doing good.
Clematis by the shed is loaded with blossoms.  Peonies will be opening soon
The one by the garage has lots of blossoms.  It’s only a couple of years old.
Bill working on the electric fence.  I helped with the bottom row.

I got up at 6:30 because I wanted to have plenty of time to go over my Sunday School lesson again.  Got ready, checked on the fish and fed them, made coffees for both of us.  Went over my lesson, then it was time to leave.  Bill had me drive this morning.  Returned the baby bottle for Life Clinic today for their collection.  Went back to my class and got the lesson out of the folder and it was a different lesson than I had prepared for.  I looked it over quickly, so I would be prepared to teach it.  I was blessed that it was a very easy lesson.  I went out and let Cassy know, I had gotten a different lesson and we couldn’t figure out why her phone showed the right lesson and mine showed the lesson I got.  She had me scan the QR code so, I would be reentered into the teacher group.  It worked right away.  Worship was awesome!  I taught Sunday School after worship.  We had 17 K-1st kids today.  Kris was my helper.  The kids were a little rowdy at first, but I put Ty’s name on the board with a check and everyone settled down.  Ty and Bentley had explained to the new kids about when you get 3 checks, you have to talk to the leader in the hallway.  No one has ever gotten 3 checks.
Time went quickly.  Our orange experiment didn’t work.  Both the peeled orange and the unpeeled orange floated.  The unpeeled one floated higher to the top though.  We had a short Sunday School teacher meeting after class.  Then Bill and I went to Tony’s with Debbie and Jeff Davis.  We had a nice visit while eating, but short because Jeff had to get back to church to teach a class.

We came home and relaxed for a while and took a short nap.  Then I sat ion the deck and read my Bible.  Bill read his inside.  I helped Bill with the pool filter.  Then saw the old filter we’ve had since we got the pool had a crack in it.  Decided we should get a new one, so I ran to Macksood's and picked one up.  Got there at 4:45 and they closed at 5.  Only took 5 minutes to get it and pay for it.  We put it in as soon as I got home and I got the cartridge for the chlorine dispenser out of the shed and put it in.  Filled the pool up the last 3 inches.  Then we sat on the swing on the deck for a while and watched the birds.  After we relaxed, we worked on the bottom row of the electric fence and then dad hooked it up.  No critters will go in the garden now.  I watered the garden.  It is so easy just having to easy connect the hose to the sprinkler attached to the top of the post around the garden.  There is one on the long side of the garden and one on the short side.  They spray the whole garden now.  So nice!

I cut a dead branch I noticed while sitting on the deck with Bill.  It is just a short branch with lots of dead leaves, by where I hang my bird feeders.  It’s in the fire pit now.

I watered the sod which is really growing nicely now.  Then I worked on my blog.  Didn’t finish though.
