Emily, Stacey,(and baby), Sarah and Joan before the shower started.

Cute idea for shower gift table!
Cute little acorn treats made of tiny round sandwich crackers and a hershey kiss.  Cute cake balls too!
The two cakes were beautiful and yummy

Stacey was so sweet and loved and was excited over everything she opened

Emily was a great help opening presents and was so organized

Our worship and church service were amazing today.  The Holy Spirit was present in an awesome way.  After church I came home and changed and went to Stacey Simmermacher's shower.  Phyllis saved me a seat at her table.  We ate right away when we got there.  Then all of us Elder's wives prayed over Stacey and the baby.  We played a couple of games and then  Stacey opened her gifts.
She got lots of nice things and was so excited over every one.  She is very sweet and thankful and reminds me of my sweet daughters.  It took a long time for her to open up all the gifts but Emily was a great help and so organized it helped to make it faster than it would have taken.  Came home and read on my book outside and enjoyed the nice weather.  Bill was working on the motorcycle as it broke down on him Thurs. night.  He didn't get it fixed though so will have to take it in.  Praying it is something easy and cheap.  We watched Herbie Goes Bananas and Cheaper by the Dozen 2 and had popcorn.

4/16/16 Beautiful day at the park and then afterwards great dinner and wonderful play at Hailey's school.

Max was so very happy when he won the bid on the Star Wars Goodie Bag.  Lots of neat stuff in it!

Papa and Max...they were both pretty happy

Jack and Max wrapped up in the Star Wars Blanket that was in the goodie bag.  They also used the 3 drinking cups which was nice as Evan was really hot and thirsty.

The Goodies Bruce bid on and won.  He surprised Melissa when they got home and told her.
I talked to Vikki and she was picking up Kenzie and going to the dog park.  I asked if I could meet them there and she said yes.  Peyton was so excited to see me.  What a sweet little girl.  Cole came and met Kenzie there.  It was nice seeing him.  We had fun at the dog park.  Lots of dogs trying to get at Lenny.  We went to the park so Peyton could play afterward.  She had fun on the playground. Lenny tried to dig a hole under the bench we were sitting on.  He's pretty fast at digging.  Cole had to leave for work, so we went back to the dog park for a few more minutes.  Came back to my house and Kenzie and Peyton played on the trampoline.  Vikki left to take Kenzie home and I got ready to go to dinner and a play at Bethlehem.  There was a silent auction and Max had counted his money before he came because he wanted to bid on the Star Wars Bags.  There were 3 of them.  He bid and then some bid over him so Papa increased it a little.  They ended up winning one of the bags and Max was super excited.  Great memory for both of them.  Lots of great treasures in the bag too.  They had a candy booth set up to snack on before dinner.  We snacked some and then ate chicken, noodles, coleslaw and a roll for our dinner.  We walked around out in the hall while they set up chairs for the play and took the tables down.  We sat in the second row from the front.  After that they sat up two rows of soft chairs in front of us.  The VIP ticket purchasers sat there.  Hailey did amazing in the play.  She looked stunning in her green hair and white eyebrows.  All of the kids did such a great job and their voices were amazing when they sang and they did their parts so well.   After a while, they had a 10 minute break.  Vikki and I got up to stretch and go outside for a

minute.  When we came back in they were serving the VIP section cream puffs.  We didn't lack though because Vikki took care of us.  She had yummy orange slices for us and lots of mints.

They finished the play and it just wonderful.  We all enjoyed it so much.

4/15/16 Shannon's baby came home yesterday! YAY! So nice out today. Best day ever for yard work

Shannon and Rob's baby went home yesterday.  Here he is in his own crib! Happy he is home and doing good.  Love his matching outfit and sheets!

Did some walking in the morning while I listened to the Bible and then worship.  Ate cereal for breakfast and put lots of fruit on it.  Got some cards ready to mail out.  Worked outside weeding the flower bed in front of the house. I am working my way around the house.  Got lots done and it was so warm I took my sweatshirt off.  Tony gave Bill a package of walleye so I baked it for dinner.  It was so delicious.  We watched the news, jeopardy, and wheel of fortune and then watched the movie "Frontier Boys".  I had written it down when Sara Ann stayed with us because she said it was a good movie.  It was good but a little tense for me.
