5/15/16...Went to church and then to Jen's shower

When I looked out the window to check on m birds this morning I saw 5 deer playing in the field next to our house.  So much fun to watch them.  Loved seeing them stand on 2 legs

They stayed in the field playing for a long time

It was Celebration Sunday....Vikki took this cute picture of Isaac, Peyton and Kody eating their cake

These truffles were delicious too

This cake was so pretty

This blueberry topped cake was delicious too

Kim did this sock arrangement.  It was beautiful

They had it decorated so beautifully

Delicious cookies too

Beautiful chocolate pretzels

We went to church.  Melissa and her family were there and Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac were there.  Stacie and Kody were there too.  So nice to have them all in church.  It was celebration Sunday and it was a very nice service.  My kiddo's got their awards today!  They were so happy.  Max got an award for doing 2 outflows.  He was very happy to get that one!  Proud of all of them.  We had cake after church to celebrate.

Vikki came and brought the kids for Bill to watch while Vikki and I went to the shower.  He volunteered which was nice.  It hailed on the way to the shower.  Everything at the shower was beautiful and it was so nice to see Chad and Jen and their little girls.  We sat with Chrystal, Lori, Jen and her two daughters.  The food was absolutely delicious.  Chicken salad croissants, prime rib croissants, salad, salmon, some other side dishes and mac and cheese.  They must have had a lot that didn't rsvp because they had to set up extra tables and chairs and they ran out of food.  There were tons of gifts.  It was amazing and we had such a great time.

5/14/16...Bill married Katelyn and Rocco Today

Love this cute picture Kimmy put on of her kiddos and Melissa's kiddos and

Love the three strands braiding of the cross for the unity service.  The Bible says a cord of 3 strands

This is what the bride and grooms truck looked like after the wedding.  Someone shrink wrapped it.

Vikki Bill and Debbie at Farmer's Market

Very cold day!  Burr.  I took Mocha to get her Rabies shot at TSC in the morning.  On our way I saw an eagle by the nest on State street.  Then another eagle flew over my car and was pretty low.  I could really see it's white tail feathers clearly.  So neat.  Mocha loved walking around the store.  She looked like she had to go potty so I took her outside right away and she did both jobs.  Glad she didn't do that in the store.  We went in and walked around some more.  She was good for her shot and it was only $19.00.  Sure was happy about that.  Bill picked up Vikki and went to Frankenmuth to meet Debbie.  They went to the new Farmer's Market.  Debbie got Bill another brick put there which was very sweet of her.  They didn't have the brick down, but took a picture for the paper.  After that they went and saw the other bricks she has gotten for him.  One is at the Military Museum and the other is downtown.  When Bill got home we got ready and then at 2 left for the wedding at the fire station.  The wedding was very nice!  It was pretty cold as they had the doors open so you could see the firetrucks outside.  After that the firemen all loaded all the chairs we had gotten from our church and Wes's church back in our trailer and we took them home to put in the shed.  We went to the reception.  They had yummy snacks and great food.  We danced a couple of dances.  We were sitting at a table by ourselves and Sabrina moved us to the immediate family table.  We got to share family testimonies with Bill's (the bride's dad) brother and his wife.  Had a nice time.

5/13/16...Kimmy and Melissa worked hard pulling weeds and digging upgrass around the house. They sure did a great job. Dad did the rehearsal for Katelyn and Rocco

Me and Melissa working on weeding and pulling grass along the deck.  Kimmy took the picture and worked just as hard as we did.  These girls are workers.  So is Vikki.  She was working at her Aunt Debbie's.
Katelyn moving the fire truck out of the station before rehearsal

Last week Kimmy and I saw a sparrow going into the bird house on that post.  We cleaned out the nest in it. Today we were bird watching while sitting on the deck and were so happy to see bluebirds in the bird house and on top of it.  Praying the sparrows don't chase them out.  Kimmy was taking a picture of the blue bird on top of it too as you can see.

This is my favorite bouquet ever from Bill.  He got it for me on Mother's Day and today that huge flower opened up in it.  A couple more of them are getting ready to open.  Love the white roses too. He got it at Kroger's and it was the last bouquet left.

Bill and Rocco at the rehearsal.  Behind them are three ladders.  They will have flowers on them tomorrow.

Neat cross idea for the unity ceremony.  A cord of three is not easily broken it talks about in Ecclesiastes.  Katelyn and Rocco will braid these three rope strands to represent Jesus and each of them.

Firetruck parked in their while they rehearsed.  They moved all the other ones out except this rescue one.

Finished braided cross
Kimmy came over after she picked up Jacob's birthday present at the post office.  She brought it in to show me.  It is so nice. Jacob is going to be one happy boy.  We went to our church in the truck to help Bill pick up chairs for the wedding.  Pastor Jeff helped us get them.  They were on carts and we just wheeled them up on the trailer so it was pretty easy.  We took them to the fire station next door and dropped them off.  On our way back to our house the old truck bedliner Bill took off which was in the trailer, blew off in the road.  He backed up and Kimmy and I hurried out and put it back in the trailer.  When we got home Kimmy and I went and got safflower seed from the Freeland Elevator.  We split a 50 lb. bag.  The black birds don't like it but the other nice birds do when they get used to it.  Praying this works to keep the yucky birds away.  We filled the feeder when we got home.  Kimmy and Melissa were so nice and helped me pull weeds and grass along the deck in back.  It was hard work and we got a lot one.  They sure are nice daughters to help me like that.  Vikki was at Debbie's cleaning.  We missed her.  We finished and got a little time to relax and visit. We watched a video Melissa showed us of the kids school.  Max is really dancing in it.  He is so cute.  Happy to see him be able to relax and do that.  He was so cute.  I watched it a couple of times on my computer as I could see it better.  The other kids are in it and are really cute too.  After the girls left, we got ready and left for the rehearsal.  We had to pick up some flyers for the Vietnam Memorial Run ride from the people heading it up.  We pulled in the driveway Bill thought was the right one and we heard someone saying hi to us.  It was Kris Hammerbacher!  We were in the wrong driveway and it was hers.  She told us the people lived next door.  We visited with them for a few minutes and then went to the Fire Station.  After they rehearsed, we ate delicious spaghetti, salad and bread.  Then we went to Mooney's and Bill and Sabrina treated everyone to ice-cream.

We had fun.  Stopped at Office Max to get printer ink as our color printer wasn't working.  We only needed Magenta,  Bill was able to print the wedding out how he wanted then with colors.  I gave Mocha a bath and brushed her.  She goes to get her rabies shot tomorrow.

Bill giving his sister, Debbie, away at her wedding

Kimmy came over.  She stayed and waited for the girls to come while I met Phyllis from church and went to get the rest of Jen's Shower gift.  Melissa, Evan, Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came over in the morning.  We visited and then had warm homemade bread and egg salad sandwiches for lunch.  Melissa had to go to an appt. for Max so Evan stayed with us. Kimmy cut his hair really cute.  We sat outside for a long time and then the girls had to leave.  Melissa and Jack came to pick Evan us and stayed to visit for a while.  Melissa and I walked around the yard while Jack and Evan played on the trampoline and rode the cart.  We went to our CMA meeting at the Texan.  We had a lot of visitors and new people there.  One couple is going to earn their colors.  So happy about that.  Bill did a great job leading the meeting.  It went very well. Isaac came and we were all happy to see him and give him a hug.  His 10 month old grandson just died in his sleep two days ago.  So sad and praying for his family.  Had the salad bar at Sullivan's.  Bill had the salad bar and a huge burger. It was a fun day!

5/11/16 Went on a nice motorcycle ride to the Traverse City Pie Company...YUM

Shannon's baby is 9 lbs. now.  Such a cutie.  Keep praying for his hip to stay in place and heal quicker than they think.

Sienna having fun on the playground.  I get a little nervous when I remember Kenzie on the trapeze breaking her arm.
The kids got to go outside tonight.  They were so happy and love playing on the playground equipment.
Gigi kept picking me dandelions
Tons of dandelions for the girls to pick

Sam was cute...she matched the the posts

Got up and went to the Sports Zone.  Then went to the store to get more burger and flour to make the pizza buns.  I was very careful about measuring the salt today ha ha,  I started the bread machines right as we went out the door so I had plenty of time to get back home before it rose too much and stuck to the lid. Came home and showered and got ready to go on a motorcycle ride to the Traverse City Pie Company.  Met Wes, Gayla, Luis, Eva, Jim and Patty at St. Mark's and all rode together.  It was a very nice day for a ride.  We had so much fun.  Bill and I split a turkey sandwich (one of the best I've ever had)  A little expensive ($6.99) but a half was plenty.  It came with blueberry applesauce which was delicious.  Had blackberry peach crumb pie and Bill had apple. It was so delicious.  Had a Traverse City Cherry coffee to go with it.  Triple YUM.  We got home and I cooked the burger and made the pizza buns and cabbage buns.  Went outside and sat to do my lesson.  It was 70 degrees and sunny.  My orioles were here and also a pretty bird on my suit feeder I tried to get a good picture of.  I have to look him up and find out what kind he is.  He had red on his neck.  He was beautiful.  I ate cabbage buns and then left for my class.  I took the hamburger buns for Emily and Derek, but Emily wasn't there because sh had a meeting to go to.  I got a hold of her and she came and picked them up and was so happy to have them.  They are pretty busy with just moving into their new home Friday and now they are redoing the kitchen and her new cupboards came today.  Her kitchen will be tore up for a few days.  The kids were happy to get to go outside tonight.  I had nine children.  I was so happy Peter came to visit.  His grandma told me he was really excited to come see me.  Got home and Bill had a new clip for my helmet.  So happy because it takes so long to thread the strap through the metal things.  Clipping is so fast and easy.  Ran off 8 copies of the Faith Rider's Newsletter for tomorrow night's meeting.
