6/1/16 moved to a new camp sight today

We moved to a new camp sight on the beach side.  So happy

We moved from our dirty campsite to a nice grassy spot.  So happy Bill wanted to move and asked the guy at Outdoor adventures to move us.  Our truck was back home.  We moved right by the beach and we love it.  We can sit in our back yard and watch the kids play in the sand.  We swam, had ice cream, golfed and enjoyed our new grassy spot.  Vikki called Northwoods and they had the goggles we wanted for 2.99.  Yay!  I got one for Peyton, Isaac and Hailey.  Peyton and Isaac tried theirs and loved them.

Wes and Gayla came up at around 11.  It was pretty cool out and windy.  We walked around for a while and then played a game of golf.  We met a couple on the golf course with two kids with them.  We talked to them and their kids went to Arrow wood.  I asked them if they had Mrs. Emily for a music teacher.  I said her maiden name and the 4th grader corrected me and said her married name.

They used  to go to the Catholic church but now go to Bethany Lutheran.  I told them Emily led worship at our church.  The dad's name was Scott and he said he had been diagnosed with MS.  I shared about Melissa and what God had done in our lives and asked him if he wanted us to pray for him.  He said yes, so we all laid hands on him and prayed for him right then.   We didn't swim at all today as it was too cold and the indoor pool was broke.  We played a game of cards called trash with Wes and Gayla and then 3-13 with them and Vikki.  I made potatoes cut up on the grill and Bill made grilled chicken.  We also had corn on the cob.  Wes and Gayla brought cheese curds for us and also cinnamon  bread for dessert.  It was all delicious.  Bill, Vikki and I played 3-13 and Vikki and I played dice after Bill went to bed.

The day went by quickly and then they had to leave.  Hailey had homework to do when she got home.

Melissa, Bruce and the boys came up.  Abby too.  We ate sandwiches for lunch and then had fun doing things in the campground. The boys had fun riding their bikes around the campground and we all had fun swimming, even though the water was cold.  Melissa and Bruce didn't swim though.  We all golfed and then the kids, Melissa and Vikki rode the hayride.  Bill was involved with the Memorial service in Saginaw so he got there right before the hayride.  He went into the pavilion so I decided not to run but went in to find him.  He was in the ice cream line.  They were serving free ice cream and they were done after the 5 people behind him.  I got in line with him just in time to get a free one.  I was going to get everyone off the hayride so they could get free ice cream but Bill said they wouldn't let anyone else get in line.  We went back to the camper and Bill grilled hamburgers on the grill.  I made potatoes sliced on the grill.  We had corn on the cob too.  Papa took the kids to the store which they all loved.  We played 3-13 after they left and then dice.  Such a fun day.

5/29/16...went home for church and brought Hailey back with me to thecampground

Left Outdoor Adventures at 7 to go home for church.  After church, I went to Bruce and Melissa's to pick up Hailey, her bike and her things so she could go up camping with me.  We picked up taco Bell and ate at our house.  Then Hailey and I walked around and looked at all my plants.  Everything has grown so much and looks beautiful.   We stopped at Northwoods in Pinioning to see if they had Intex Goggles with the nose piece.  They were out but had a sign saying they were 4.99.  I asked Hailey if she needed a pair and she said yes.  I will keep looking for them.  We got to the campground and Vikki and the kids were happy to see Hailey.  We had a fun day doing everything at the campground.  Hailey was so much fun and we laughed so hard playing cards with her.  She learned how to play 3-13.  So excited to have her spend the night with us.
