Riding into downtown Flint....686 registered bikes (they actually think there were 1000) in  this 2 hour parade.  The line was 7 miles long of motorcycles! Wow!
Melissa, Bruce and Evan were at our house when we got home.  Sure glad we got home before they left
Evan trying to pick up a pumpkin, but it was too heavy

Went for ice cream with Kenzie and Bill.  My big banana split.

We left at 7:30 to meet at Bringer Inn for breakfast.  We had good food and it was fun being together.  We left for Bikes on the Bricks and Isaac led us their.  It was a beautiful day for a ride.  We met up to be instructed on blocking for the parade.  While we were meeting, another group was in front of the Harley Dealer parking lot, doing a bike blessing.  The police lined up first, then the blockers..The policeman would pull in to an intersection on his motorcycle, then the next blocker would take his place and he would leave.  We were one of the last ones to block.  We watched the rest of the motorcycles pass by, then when the ambulance came, it would let us back in the parade.  We parked in town and then walked around.  We got our free shirts for blocking.  We got a hotdog and coke.  We walked up and down the street on the brick road to look at all the bikes.  They had some vendors there, but not as many as usual.  We stopped at the CMA booth and talked to Diane and Bev.  We also watched the police go through the obstacle course as they competed against each other.  It is amazing to watch them make such sharp turns and go through these quickly.  So thankful for our policeman.  Some of our friends were setting up cones for them when they got knocked over.  We left and came back home, and were so happy Bruce and Melissa were here when we pulled back by the shed.  Bruce had picked some tomatoes for the Salsa he is making.  We took some pictures, then we opened all the doors and windows in the camper and turned on the 3 vent fans.  We all put on masks and Melissa, Bruce and Evan got a tour of our new camper.  They really liked it.  I'm so glad we could do this!  Bill took Evan for a ride on our motorcycle.  Evan so very happy and liked riding on it.  They left after that so Bruce could make dinner and Salsa.  Bill and I decided to sleep in the camper again.  It's nice having everything out there now and the memory foam on the mattress on our bed.  So comfy.  We stayed up for a while and I did my blog while he played a game of Sudoko on his phone.  We both slept really good.

Bill went for coffee with Charlie. I put worship on, then did my devotions, prayer and Bible reading.  I started some laundry as I haven’t been able to do it because of no power.  Lots of catching up to do.  After that I started cleaning the camper.  I cleaned everything but the carpet.  Nothing was dirty, but it felt good to clean and wipe down  everything myself.  I took a load of stuff out and stated putting some away.  Bill wanted me to help him put chairs and stuff in the outside storage compartment. Vikki came after she picked the kids up from school.  I had her pick up lunch for us from McDonald’s.  We ate them started working on getting stuff out to the camper.  Kenzie came and brought her 4 bunnies. They are so cute!  She looked at the camper even though there were tubs all over the place.  We went outside and spent time with her and the bunnies, then went in the house.  Kenzie took Peyton and Isaac shopping while Vikki and I continued working. We put all the tubs in the back and the hauled in a bin at a time to put away.  Vikki’s idea and a good one.  She was a great help!  It was so nice having her help me decide where to put the kitchen stuff and other things.  She cut the foam piece we had on our king size bed in the other camper to a queen size.  Kenzie brought the kids back.  She had to get back home. The kids were both good and are still pretty excited about the camper.  We didn’t get finished until almost 8. We were both super tired. It sure is nice to have it done.

Everything is folded away.  You roll up the carpet and there are places to fasten ties to the motorcycle when you park it to haul.

Bill went with Charlie for coffee.  I read my Bible and listened to worship music.  We still didn't have power this morning.  They said it will be on at 5:30 today.  I'm thankful Bill has the generator running, keeping our freezers and refrigerators cold, and letting us use lights in the dining room, living room,  one light in the shower of our bathroom.  We left at 1:15 and went to take our camper to have it checked over for a trade n.  We waited about an hour and then did the paperwork and then left with our new camper.  We got home and Vikki, and the kids came over to see it.  A short time later, Rody came over.  We had to go to our Faith Rider's Meeting at 6.  Rode the motorcycle there.  Beautiful evening for a ride.  There were quite a few missing tonight.  We rode back home after the great meeting, and then decided to spend the night in the camper.  We packed up what we needed and went out there and sat for a while, then slept.  We both slept good.

We went to breakfast at Tony’s on State St.  Not many there which was wonderful.  We had tried Levi’s and Bringer Inn, but both were too packed for our comfort.  We were going to go look at Toy Hauler RV’s and a motorhome Bill had found in the area.  Our first stop was Hamilton’s RV.  They had a toy hauler and motorhome.  We both loved the toy hauler (can put our motorcycle inside when traveling, so Bill can drive the 5th wheel instead of me.  It was laid out beautifully and is so nice.  Bill talked the salesman into giving us a great price for our 5th wheel we traded in.  He told them he really wanted to do business here, rather than going to Birch Run where our next stop would be.  They guy checked with his manager twice and both time came back with another thousand for ours until it was at the price Bill asked for.  I walked through campers while he wheeled and dealed.  They gave us $2,000 less than we paid for it.  It’s 3 years old and did have a few easy things that need fixing.  They wrote up some paperwork, will go through the one we are getting again to make sure everything is working, and will send us a video of how everything works.  We will bring ours and pick up the Voltage RV tomorrow.  We came home, and Vikki and the kids came over.  We all completely emptied our 5th wheel and hauled everything to the shed and to the garage.  Some stuff we put in the house too.  My there was lots of stuff.  Vikki worked hard and was so fast.  What a huge help she was.  Bill and the kids emptied the outside storage area.  The kids also picked up sticks that had blown down in the storm.  I swept it out and dusted. I had cleaned it when we were at BayShore because we had water.  We finished and Vikki and the kids left.  We got ready and drove by the camper place to make sure they took the camper in to start looking over.  They did.  We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner at around 8 p.m.  They had two seats right away for us and we were at an end by ourselves.  All the employees were wearing masks, so we were happy about that.  We had stopped at Outback first and they were all wearing masks too.  They only had one half of the restaurant open and it was a 45 minute wait.  They said they would text us when there was an opening.  We left, but texted them a few minutes later when we got right in at the Texas Roadhouse.  The food was so delicious.  The steak practically melted in our mouths it was so tender.  The prices were less that Outback prices too.  It was a fun day and evening.  So thankful to have Bill to do life with.  God has sure blessed me with him and with such an amazing family.
