Bill, me, Alice, Lonnie, ?, Rick, Gayla and Wes

We prayed for Don’s sister who tried to catch her dog that was chasing a chicken. She fell into a well hole and was down there 2 hours before anyone found her.  Had broken vertebrae and was having surgery.  Surgery went well but they told her it would be a long recovery. She was so happy we prayed for her.

Very sweet and smart service dog

Linda, me and Bill
Three cute 3 month old puppies.  Got to pray with their owner.

Some Faith Riders taking off for the poker run to be witnesses for Jesus
Close up of the stunt show.  Gayla and I passed out Christian tracks titled No Fear and Out of control to people watching it. With those titles, people wanted to read them.

Got ready and Bill went outside for pancakes.  Elaine came to do her devotion and to talk to me.  She caught me up on some things going on in her life.  Bill let us know it was time to go to the Bike blessing so we all got on our bikes.  It started at 9 which we all thought was too early, if we want a lot of bikers there.  Bill talked to the girl organizing it and she said they would have it at 10 next year, which is what we’ve done the past two years.  The bike blessing was nice, but not as many came as usual.  It worked out ok though, because we got to pray with people and bless their bikes many times during the day, who missed the group one.  This was a first for me as I did some by myself, with the Lord helping me and growing me.

What a great day of CMA people witnessing, handing out tracks and Bibles, doing group bike blessings and individual bike blessings and praying for people. People are thirsty for the Lord and His Living Water.  It was an exciting day.  All Glory to God!!!!
We worked the booth from 2-5 and had many more opportunities.  Many people who belong to CMA did the same thing.  What an honor to serve the Lord.

We all ate spaghetti that Alice made for us.  It was delicious!  I talked to Vikki a couple of times today. She is loving her new refrigerator.  Her medicine is working and she’s feeling much better already.  Thanking God.  Played 3-13 with Wes and Gayla.  Bill was the winner.  Alice came after we were playing for a while and watched! Fun and blessed day!

Friday, 6/9/23, Walked around and talked with people, invited vendors to our state rally, helped in the CMA booth, had good fellowship back where we are camped.

Linda, Paul and Debbie served in the CMA booth all day and most of the evening.  They witnessed, gave out tracks and Bibles and prayed for anyone needing prayer.  We are very thankful for them.

This motorcyclist did wheelies on the front tire and wheelies on the back tire!

Bill, Jim and I served in the booth for a while in the evening.  Many great opportunities as we talked to people, and handed out Bibles.  People were so happy to get Bibles.  A few said no, but there were so many that wanted one! The Holy Spirit is on the move!
They had beautiful service dogs next to our booth.  Bill took this picture after they put them inside.

We thought this guy was a statue until he moved lol

We all celebrated Arts 71st Birthday when we got back to where we are camping.
We all prayed over the pastor of the church were at.  Elaine, our Faith Riders Chaplain, led and we all agreed in prayer.  I had everyone pose for a group picture afterwards.

We started the morning out reading our Bibles, then went outside for a group pancake breakfast Alice and Wes made for us.  It was yummy.  Then we all headed to the rally to spend the day.  We talked to many vendors and invited them to our street party at BayShore for our CMA State rally.  Many were interested.  Bill and I came back to the camper and had lunch, then relaxed for awhile.  We went back and spent more time walking around.  Bill, Jim and I met Wes and Gayla at Mama Mia’s Pizza and had delicious pizza.  We went back to the CMA booth and manned the booth while Paul and Debbie walked around and looked at what all the vendors were selling.  We were so thankful for all of the opportunities God gave us.  When they got back we visited a while longer, then headed back to the camper.  We all celebrated Arts Birthday and had birthday cake.  Then we had a time of prayer and fellowship.  Mosquitoes got bad, so we came inside.
Hailey sent me these great pictures of where she’s working at camp.  She said she’s learning lots and loves it there. This made me so happy!

Thurs., 6/8/23, packed last minute things, met Wes and Gayla at 7-11, Stopped at Big Boy, camped at church in Mackinaw City, went for ice cream

The sun looked amazing tonight. It was a red orange color
Alice in the red coat in the background invited all of us to stay at her son’s church. She and her husband, Lonnie were so hospitable and even offered to feed us all dinner. We told her she didn’t have to provide food that we all brought stuff.  So sweet of her to offer though.
Barb and Ron putting up their motorcycle camper.
Alice, Lonnie, Rick, and Bill

We went for ice cream tonight and this Great Dane had her ice cream too.  She was such a nice dog.

We packed the last minute stuff, read our Bibles, jand then made sure we saw Kit Kat outside before leaving to meet up with Wes and Gayla a couple of miles from our house.we followed them and talked on the phone some.  We stopped at a Big Boy in Gaylord.  Gayla and I both got Slim Jim’s. Yum!
We got gas at Meijer and the came the rest of the way up to the church we are staying at.  Alice, Lonnie and their family cleaned out a big area and made it like a nice little campground for us.  They are the sweetest people!

We hung out outside and helped some people as they set up.  We had Rick, a Chaplain from Escanaba, eat chili with us.  Then we took some out to Barb and Ron.  Later Don and Elaine came so I had them come in for chili and we had a nice visit.  A little later, Wes and Gayla, Ron and Barb and us went a couple of miles down the road to Mackinaw City and had ice cream.  It was homemade and was delicious.  When we got back, Bill and I went to Wes and Gayla’s camper and played 3-13. Wes won and I came in second.  It sure was fun.
Vikki called me and said she has an infection from her surgery. It’s a good thing she went in.  If left untreated it could cause brain damage or blood problems.  I am thanking the Lord she made the appointment and they found it.  I love that sweet girl of mine so much!

Wed., Billl met Charlie, I watered the new grass, packed camper, cut up watermelon, watered plants again,

These will probably be about done when I get home.
I watered all the new plants today.  Took a picture so I can see if they grow while I am gone

Our plants have perked up since we watered them with the water sprayer
Ha Ha Vikki and I were face timing today and she said we look a lot alike today.  I was thinking the same thing while we were on FaceTime.

Did laundry and packed my clothes and put them in the camper.  Packed everything except the last minute stuff.  Bill went with Charlie for coffee.  I watered the new grass we planted which was great because it went past that and watered my ferns, hostess, flowers and milkweed too.  I packed all the food for the cupboards and took it out to the camper and put it away too.  When Bill got home, I put all the refrigerator and freezer food into clothes baskets.  It's always pretty heavy, so Bill carried it for me and then I loaded the refrigerator and freezer in the camper.  I took some of the chili I made last night over to Charlie and Sue.  They blessed me with Molasses cookies from the Amish store while I was there.  Charlie also got me a blueberry muffing when he was with Bill today.   After I dropped the chili off and visited with Sue for a while, I went and picked up a couple more things for our trip.  Aldi hasn't had Almond milk the last two times I've been there, so I got some from Meijer.   I also got Coconut Milk to make the drink Kenzie made me that I loved.  Then I went to Souper Cafe and picked up an egg salad sandwich and some soup.  Bill and I split the sandwich and he had the soup.  I wasn't that hungry.  After I ate,  I put the chili in two big containers to take with us and cut up a watermelon and put it in a large container to take with us too.  Then I moved the sprinkler and did the last watering of the garden.  I started working on my blog and Bill asked me if I plugged the electric fence back in.  Bummer!  He was nice and went outside and plugged it in for me.  It was already dark out.  Busy day....got lots done...excited to go to Mackinaw City tomorrow.

Tues., 6/6/23, Mentored Maddy, went to Costco, made chili, started gathering stuff on camping list

This Weigela plant had old branches that just pulled right out.  Only a little growth about two feet high was left at the bottom last year.  This year it is absolutely gorgeous
Knockout roses are going to be a knock out this year.  Lots of buds on the plant now besides these blossoms.
My white peonies are beautiful, but they don't smell much

I picked Maddy up this morning, and we went to Biggby for a Campfire mocha and a bagel.
After we ate, we went through our disciple book.  It was a good lesson about how we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.   Really emphasized abiding in the vine (Jesus) who is the Word of God.  We got cold inside, so we went out and did our lesson in my car.  I gave Maddy my Bible and I read the questions and she looked up the scriptures.  Usually we take turns, but my church Bible was too big to keep passing back and forth.  It was good for Maddy, because she is used to looking up scripture on her phone, or reading the Bible on it, like many of the younger generation does.  This gave her the opportunity to turn the pages and find the books of the Bible.  She got really good at the end.  We had some good discussion time.  She will be 22 on Sunday and is very mature for being so young and already has someone to mentor once she's done.  I am very proud of her!

After I dropped her off, I went to Costco and picked up Drumsticks for Melissa and myself.
I put them in stay cold bags, and put the air on high in my car.  I dropped mine off at my house and left the car running, then went to Melissa's and dropped her's off.  They were still nice and cold.  I went to Boehlers Greenhouse and picked up my cucumber plants (they didn't have any Sunday when we were there). After that, I picked up my Prescription at Walgreens.  I was happy it was free.  There was a really bad accident on the corner by Walgreens, so I had to go through McDonald's parking lot to get around the corner.  There were two ambulances that took people to the hospital.  A car was flipped on its side.  I prayed for the people in the accident.

I dug up my spearmint and planted it in a small planter.  Vikki called me and told me it spreads  lots, so I didn't want it in my garden.  I added one more plant to my planter on the deck.  It's a yellow wave petunia that has smaller blossoms.  I also dug up my lavender from last year as it was dry all over except one green little piece.  I got a different type of lavender that I like a whole lot better and planted it in my little flower garden.

It was a cooler day in the 60's, so I watered the garden as the plants looked a little wilted.  They sure perked up.  I even watered my ferns, because they looked dry.  I noticed lots of Milkweed coming in the little wooded area.

I started going over my camping list, so I know what I still have to pack in the camper for our trip.  I made chili to take with us.  I am looking forward to this trip.  Wes and Gayla are camping there too.  We are all excited to spend time together.

Monday, 6/5/23, Fixed Peyton and Isaac's breakfast, went to Vikki's, went to doctor, went to Melissa's, watched movie with Jacob and Peyton

Brielle in her car today!
Adam relaxing when I got to Vikki's
Jacob was relaxing too
Isaac played the piano for me before I took the picture
Peyton was relaxing too;  Kimmy and Vikki were as busy as could be though

Bill met Charlie for coffee.  Vikki called while I was still in bed.  I stayed up until after 1 last night so it felt good to sleep in.  I got up and got ready, then by that time the kids were up.
I made them toast and Isaac had cereal.  Peyton only wanted toast.  After breakfast, we went to Vikki's.  We stopped at McDonald's and got Peyton, Isaac, Jacob and Adam shakes.  When we got to Vikki's, she and Kimmy had moved the refrigerator, and put the coffee station where it was.  They also moved the table, so they were putting all of the small stuff back where it went.  It looks nice the way they arranged it.  They were making room for Vikki's new refrigerator.
I stayed until I had to leave to get home and get ready to go to the doctor at 1.  Kimmy's boys both had dentist appointments at 2.  My doctor appt. went good.  I got the pneumonia shot while I was there.  She put me on the lowest dosage of a statin because my Cholesterol was 263 last time.  She's so nice and she's easy and fun to talk to.  When I was finished there,  I stopped and got the shingles vaccine.  I don't ever want to get those again.  I had them several years ago and they were awful.  When I was done, I picked Melissa up and we went to Walgreen's and she got her free over the counter stuff.  I took her home, and then went back to Vikki's and watched a movie with Jacob and Peyton, called A Week Away.  It was a Christian musical and was really good.  Kimmy and Vikki went to go get Graduation party stuff while we watched it.  After it was over, I came home and used the 4 prong tool I bought, to loosen all the dirt in the new flower garden.  It worked so good and only took 10 minutes.  The ground was pretty hard before I did it too.  I moved a host into that garden too.  I made salmon, a baked potato and peas for dinner.  It turned out so good.

I had to go to Walmart and get more potting soil, for my plants on the deck.  I ran into Vikki while I was there.  She was getting plants so they could plant her garden tonight. When I got home I finished planting my deck plants.  They looks so pretty.  I sent a birthday and family gift to our Compassion Child, Rehemet, and sent a time capsule card I wrote a prayer on for our sponsored child, Frank, to Feed the Hungry.  So thankful for these kids and it's so fun to keep up on what they are doing.

Bill mowed the grass while I was at Walmart, and had the sprinkler going on the small area of the garden I didn't get to last night.  I was happy about that.  The ferns in the woods by where my plants are were getting pretty dry, so I watered those and also watered a few other plants.
Saw where Kit Kat killed a baby mole.  Good kitty!
