| Nice two hour ride to Jackson today |
Slept in this morning. Made coffee than Bill made toast for us. I put avacodo on mine and he had jelly on his. He read his Bible while I ate. I listened to a few chapters in 1st Samuel since that what the House of David was about. There were a couple of things I wanted to check out, because I didn’t remember them, but I found them in the Word.
After I was done, I went in and sat by Bill and did my Bible Plan reading for the day, 2 chapters in Deuteronomy. After that, I listened to 1st Samuel again and followed along in my Bible, It was so interesting.
We went o Jackson for a Chili cook off to raise money for Run for the Son to help three great missions, and also the outreach CMA does in the states.
We had hotdogs, then tried a couple cups of different Chili’s. There was a raffle to raise money for RFS too. Bill one a CMA shelf. Nice seeing good friends there. Al and Lucy did a great job hosting it at their place.
Evan texted me to see if he and Eli could spend the night. I didn’t see it until we were on our way home. It was a two hour ride, so they will have to spend a different night.

No pictures today.
Got ready, read my Bible, kissed Bill goodbye, then headed to Melody’s for our mentoring time. We talked about God’s Word, praised him for so much answered prayer already, and spent time praying. It was the first time I have been to her new home. It was very nice and so peaceful. When our hour was up, I went to pick up a 4 piece pizza lunch from Little Caesars on my way to Roy and Marie’s. I ate lunch there, then left two pieces of pizza in the box for Roy to have. I also left him a container of mashed potatoes and 3 pieces of chicken that I made last night. Then I got busy cleaning their house. It took me about 3 1/2 hours. When I was done, I went to the hospital to visit Marie. Yay! She goes home tomorrow. As much as she loves how nice everyone is to her in Rehab, she’s ready for home sweet home. I was there for a few minutes, when Nancy and Ralph from church came to visit too. We all enjoyed our visit together. After 1 1/2 hours, I had to leave, so started saying good bye. Nancy and Ralph had to leave too, so while I was talking to Roy, they went out the door and waited in the hallway. When I went out, they asked me where Melissa’s picture was, so I walked with them and showed them where the one on the 3rd floor was. They loved seeing it and loved her big smile.
I went to Kroger next. I picked up some groceries, Easter Candy and Ice Cream. I saw Cheryl from church and she told me she had just seen Pastor Dan. A few rows after that, someone ran into my cart. I looked up and it was Pastor Dan. He sure got a good laugh out of that. I told him to be careful or he would break the eggs in his carton and they’re like gold. I went to the other end of the store, and was finishing up and he ran into my cart again and laughed. We talked for a few minutes more. He reminds me of Jared and his fun personality. I was walking to the check out and saw him and his daughter Charlotte who I had in my Sunday School. I gently ran into his cart. I told Charlotte he taught me how to do that. She laughed. She got a big squishmallow and was hugging it and looking at her dad to see if he would get it for her. It reminded me of Peyton. That is exactly what she would do.
Bill and I watched the House of David in the evening after Vikki talked to me and told me we should watch it. God touched her heart during the last episode she watched that she was crying.
