This guy played the regular drums but on our last night played the box drums.  He did such an amazing job playing them.  He reminds me so much of my grandson Max

I wished my baby sister, Brenda, Happy Birthday.  Hailey and Peyton slept in this morning because they were out with Dustin and friends til Midnight.  We let them sleep and we ate breakfast, then Vikki started packing some stuff.
The girls got up and ate breakfast, then got ready.  Peyton left with her friends, and Hailey went to work in the nursery.  Vikki, Rody, Bill and I went to the classes in the tabernacle.
We had cookies between the classes and talked with friends.  After the last class, we talked to Justin for a little while, then came back to the camper.  The kids didn’t want lunch, so went to hang out with their friends.  Rody helped Vikki and I take the tent down, and then Bill joined us and we took the Clam down.  It went pretty quickly.  Rody had to leave for home after that.  Isaac had taken Vikki and my hammocks down in the morning before he went to class.   During quiet time, Hailey took Peyton and Isaac to the Mast Coffee shop to get drinks.  Peyton and Isaac were so happy she took them.  Hailey is such a sweet thoughtful girl.  They almost got hit by a train on the way walking back.  Hailey said she’s never seen a train in the daytime at Bayshore, and I can’t remember seeing one either, but the trained honked and was getting pretty close.  Yikes.  Their a a number of tracks there and only a stop sign.  You really can’t see if anything is coming unless you get right by the track.  We thank God for his protection on our family.

After the kids got back, Vikki asked me if I wanted to go to the coffee shop.  I said yes and Hailey said she wanted to come but not drink anything.  We had a fun time hanging out and our specialty coffees were delicious.  We came back to the camper and packed up more stuff.  I washed the sinks, refrigerator, and whatever else needed washing while we were hooked up to water.  I packed the rest of the stuff in the camper so we could put the slide outs in, Isaac and I got the stabilizers out from under the jacks, and then Bill, Vikki and I rode with him to the dump station and he dumped our tanks.  He drove us back to our campsite, then parked and turned on the generator so we could keep the air running.

We ate left over pizza from the Village Pizzeria for dinner.  Clean up from that was super easy.  Then we went to the last service.  It was a great service with awesome worship.
We had told friends goodbye already, because Bill and I had to leave before service was over so we could get home and he could park the camper before it was dark.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac stayed until around 11 so the kids could hang out with friends longer.  It was the best BayShore Family Camp.  We say that every year though.  We all love BayShore and how it reaches out to people to come to Jesus and strengthens our relationship with Jesus.  Every year they get the best pastors, teachers and evangelists to share God’s Word.  It is amazing who God brings across their paths to have come.

Thurs., 7/30/26, Bill left to go home and then to the dentist in Lansing, Wes and Gayla left to go home, Went to class on Matthew, went to class on James, came back and had lunch, relaxed in hammock, picked up pizza’s for dinner, Michelle and family came over, went to worship/church service, Hailey came back, she brought us a beautiful loaf of zucchini bread, Isaac slept in the tent

Bill left before class to go to Lansing and see a dentist about a tooth implant.  Wes and Gayla saw him leave and left right after him to go home to meet with friends in Grand Rapids they had scheduled before they knew they were coming to BayShore.  I texted her later and it ended up getting cancelled because her friend had migraines.

I went to class on the Sermon on the Mount in the tabernacle with Vikki and Rody.  It was really good.  We had our cookies and coffee outside, visited with people, then came back in the tabernacle for our class on James which is really good too.  We went to our camper and had lunch after we were done.

After quiet time was done, the kids went to hang out with friends, and Vikki and I relaxed in the hammocks for a while longer.  Bill texted me and said they were prepping him for surgery for a sinus lift before the surgery.  I called him and asked if he needed me to come pick him up.  They were only supposed to talk to him about it and check his teeth over.  The girl told him surgery would take an hour and in four months they would put the implant in.  The dentist came in and told Bill he was done, so they didn’t do the surgery.  She must have mixed him up with another person.  Yikes.

Michelle Torrey and her family came over to heat up food.  They sat outside and ate.  We had to leave before they were ready to leave to go to the tabernacle for worship and the service.   They left shortly after us.  Hailey texted me when she was here.  We were just getting out of the service.  I was so happy to see her again.  She brought us a big loaf of zucchini bread with lots of nuts on the top.  Yum!  It was the best ever!  She and Peyton went and hung out with Dustin til it was late.   He gave them each some more Bay Shore Unshakable shirts which made the girls happy.  Bill and I went to bed.  I had offered make the bed up for Vikki but she Sid she would. Vikki made the bed up for Hailey.

Got up, ate breakfast, then we all went to our classes.  Both classes got together before the next class to enjoy cookies and fellowship.  It was nice talking to friends and also meeting new friends.  They had to cancel beach day in Caseville, because there were warnings at the beach for high waves and also E coli.  They had planned to take the bus there like we did before BayShore got the pool.  Everyone looks forward to that beach day each year at family camp.

Vikki and I decided we would take the girls and go drive to Caseville and look at the water and see the waves.  We stopped at Beachy’s first and walked through all of their cute shops.  We walked across the street and went in another cute shop.  Vikki and I bought ducks in French Fries for our guys for their jeeps.  They are so cute.  We drove through the city park to look at the beach and there were waves, but not as high as we had expected.  We went to Dairy Queen after that and all got Blizzards.  We sat in the shade outside and ate them.  They sure tasted good.  Bill, Wes and Gayla were playing putt putt golf back at the campground.  I hated to miss playing with them, but had already asked the girls so it was important to keep our plans.  We got back to the campground and Bill made the rest of the burgers up, I warmed the left over potatoes up and warmed the corn up.

The Bridgett, Bethany, Bethany’s sister and Kinsie were all sleeping in our tent tonight, so Vikki, Rody and I helped set it up with them.  They all put their stuff in it before we went to class because it’s easier to do before it gets dark.  We all went to worship and the service.  It was awesome worship!  Vikki, some others and I all went up front to worship.  The songs were amazing to worship to.  After service, we went back to the camper while the kids all hung out together until they had to be back at the camper at 10.  Vikki, Bill, and I played 3-13.  I don’t even remember who won, since I didn’t write it when it happened.

The girls were in the camper and had drumsticks.  Then they visited for a while and then went out to their tents, leaving their phones in with us.  They are such nice Christian girls. We love BayShore and are so thankful to be able to come each year.  This is our 23rd year.
