Bill at Bob's Evans about to eat his Farmer's Breakfast. He ordered American Fries and got hash browns by mistake so she brought him more potatoes too. We didn't eat this morning and it was almost noon so he was pretty hungry. |

The policeman I tell about below sat right behind Bill in the next booth |

I knitted this dishcloth with the pattern Kimmy gave me |
We got up early as we had to leave at 8 to go to the VA Hospital in Ann Arbor. We ran it to some traffic backups so didn't get there till quarter to 10 and his appointment was at 10. We parked the car in the ramp (which was hard as there were no places. I prayed and a car pulled out and we pulled in on the very top outside parking floor. We went to push the button on the elevator and it said the button was out of order. We decided we had better walk the steps. Went down one floor and it took us to the Medical Center. We asked where we needed to go and the lady said it was a long walk so she called a shuttle for us. The lady drove us right to where we needed to be so we made it on time. Bill didn't need to have a scan. They asked some questions and decided it was either from his fall or his infection when he had the carbuncle. They think it will go away but will watch it. On our way back we decided to walk. They were celebrating the Marine's birthday and they were giving yummy cake out. We had a piece and also had coffee. After that we left and were looking for a Bob Evan's restaurant on our way home. We stopped in Fenton and ate there. Two police officers came in and stopped to thank Bill for serving his country. Bill and I were going to pay for their lunch so Bill wrote a note on his phone for our waitress so the wouldn't hear. She said ok and then walked away to let their waitress know. She came back a little while later and told us that Bob Evan's always pays for police meals, at least their Bob Evans. Then she said that our meal was taken care of so just to walk out when we were done eating. That made our day! We were thanking the Lord. We got home and had time for a short nap. After that I got busy getting things ready for care group and praying for those coming. Also read my Bible. It was an amazing care group. Many great testimonies, great prayer (especially when Sam and Malachi both prayed for Bill), great fellowship and Bill did an amazing job teaching. I love our care group. Malachi said he was seeking God the past two days and God answered and showed him in care group. Marie brought crackers and cheese, chocolate mint cookies and delicious blueberry muffins. Jeff brought homemade venison jerky. It was really good.
