My two wonderful helpers filling lots of eggs with quarters and candy
I am so thankful Hailey and Peyton help do this every year.  They are so much fun while they do it too.  We listened to some good Christian worship songs too.  It was pretty funny at first because I saw the basket of eggs in front of Hailey and I grabbed a bunch for me to fill. When I opened the first two, I thought someone forgot to take the candy out last year.  Then I found out I took them out of the tub that Hailey was filling.  We sure got a good laugh at that one.  Love making memories!
This is a great memory!  Peyton showed me a video of her riding a horse in a store like this.  I asked her if she wanted to meet my horse and she said yes.  I got the horse out that Jared’s mom made and brought to Kimmy and Jared’s Rehearsal Dinner at our house.  She thought that was pretty cool!  I’ve been keeping it here a long time now!  Kimmy can have it and display it at her 50th anniversary party someday.
Such a beautiful sunset tonight.  We all love sunsets!  Beautiful girls with the sunset behind them too.

I got up at 6 am and started the bread makers.  Then I went back to bed until 8:30.  I ate a piece of banana bread for breakfast.  I put my AirPods in and played the Bible Scriptures that were about Good Friday and the suffering and crucifixion that Jesus went through and continued through the glorious resurrection of Jesus.  I can’t wait until He comes back again.  I made the rolls, and while they were rising, I made pie crust and baked two pie shells.  While they were baking, I made the pudding for the filling.  Then I made my mom’s favorite Sherbet pineapple, mandarin orange jello.  I put the money for kids that chose money instead of a basket in envelopes and wrote their names on them.  Then I got the eggs for the egg hunt out and 3 tubs to put filled ones in.  The three son in laws always do that job for me.  Such a blessing!  After I finished that, I had time to go to Vikki’s to hang out with her and Kimmy and the kids.  Rody came home while I was there too.  I made a sandwich to eat on my way there, because I figured they had already ate, plus I had got this really good rotisserie chicken for sandwiches and it is really good. The music the Christian station was playing was so moving it brought tears.  They were playing songs that were so fitting for today.

When I got to Vikki’s, Hope opened the door for me.  I got my hugs from all the kids...very interesting these days...some had to do do-overs lol.  I came home and put worship music on.  I sat out on the deck for a while.  It was in the mid 60’s and very nice.  It had rained during the night and early morning.

Bill and I went to church and walked through the 9 prayer stations taking time to sit and read about Jesus, meditating and praying at each one.  It took us an hour and 5 minutes.  There were lots there participating.  This is always so meaningful as we remember what Jesus went through.  After we were done, we went in the lounge area and were available to pray for people who wanted prayer.  We got to pray for a lady who has been watching our service on line, but never was able to come because of health reasons.  We talked with her for a while after so we could welcome her and get to know her a little.  After our hour we signed up for was over, Wendy came to take our place and cover the next hour.

Bill dropped me off at home.  Vikki and Peyton pulled in the driveway right after us.  Peyton came in the house, Vikki left, and Bill left to go get a Subway sandwich for him.  Hailey got here next and we all went up and started filling eggs.  I came down when the water was ready to boil the eggs Kimmy gave me.  They are so pretty, I decided God colored them better than any I could do, so left them just the way they were.  Bill took them off the burner and put them where they would cool for me.

Melissa and Bruce came over and brought chili for me, Hailey and Peyton.  She called first and I told her Bill had gone to pick up food so she didn’t need to bring any for him.  We had Fritos with them and it was so delicious.  I sure appreciated that with having so much going on today.  The girls and I finished filling the eggs after that.  Then we went outside and took some pictures of the beautiful sunset.  I came in after that and peeled lots of carrots and lots of potatoes.  The carrots are in water in the refrigerator, and the potatoes are in water on the cupboard.  Sure helps to be able to do them ahead of time.  I worked on my blog after that.
