My clematis by the garage is almost the same color as my other one.  I was hoping it would me a lighter color.  It’s still beautiful!

We went to the 9 am service at church today.  Got there early so Bill could pray over Pastor with the elders.  I went back in my Sunday School room and got things ready.  My helper for today, Renee came in the room and introduced herself.  I hadn’t met her before.  She was so nice.  We went into the church service.  Worship was amazing.  Josh was singing again after having some problems with his voice and much prayer for it.  Melody was singing and a new girl.  Brittany was playing the piano for worship for the first time and did great.  The songs were so moving.  We took communion after worship and it was a worshipful time too.  Pastor Ken does the best job explaining communion, stressing to examine our hearts and gives us time to do so, explains it so well and makes it such a special time of remembering what Jesus did for us.

I went back to teach Sunday School.  Marika was my teen helper.  Coleen was back to help Thomas.  They were all amazing helping with the kids.  The kids were amazing too and no one got their name on the board.  They listened and answered the questions so well.  Love these kiddos.

After church, we came home, changed, then went to meet Bev and Jim at the Midland Fairgrounds to walk through the flea market.  It was so huge.  Lots of stuff to look at. After we were done looking, we got food to eat.  The three of them got hamburgers and I got a walking taco.  We all liked our food and had a nice time talking while we ate.

We went to the Country Creamery afterwards and got ice cream cones and Jim got a shake.  Their ice cream is the best.  Their waffle cones are fresh and delicious too.

Bill and I went to Stacie and DJ’s after that.  She had called and wanted to know if we could come over because we hadn’t gotten together for Mother’s Day.  She is like a daughter to us.  We drove by our two previous homes on our way.  Always fun to do that.  Brings back lots of great memories.  We visited with Stacie and DJ on their back patio which they have worked on and made so nice.  Stacie also took me in to show me their screened in porch which they have re done.  It’s her happy place now.  So beautiful and I am so happy for her.  She is such a sweet caring person.  They gave me a very pretty and sweet Mother’s Day Card.  We had such a fun time visiting with them.

We got home, and I turned the sprinkler on and watered the garden.  Bill put the butterfly bell garden stake in the garden for me.  I used the sprinkling can and watered our plants we just planted.

Wes and Gayla came at around 7.  We visited in the living room and talked about out plans for our upcoming camping trip to Irons.  After that we played 3-13.  I didn’t start out so well, but then Gayla accidentally threw me a wild card.  Then she dealt the next hand and turned up a wild card for me.  Then I got about 3 pat hand winning hands.  Wow!  I just kept going backwards and ended up winning.  Gayla had said that whoever wins gets the red camping chairs with the umbrella in the family room.  Ha ha!  I sure did good after she said that.  We ate M & M’s, cashews and pecans mixed together for our snack.  Vikki FaceTimed me and we all got to see Rehvyn outside practically running.  He loves it outside so much.  I wish I could have got the wagon over to her.  I am taking it to her tomorrow.  He’s going to love being pulled in that.
