Bill and some of our wonderful grandsons...Isaac, Eli, and Jack
I got up at 6:30 and got my worship time and Bible reading done early before the day got busy. Bill went to take his sister, Carol, to her family doctor appt. I cleaned out the rest of the stuff in the camper except the stuff under our bed. I unloaded stuff in the house and the garage. Then I dusted and wiped out the cupboards and vacuumed and mopped the floor.
I left to go get gas and then was supposed to meet Maddy at 1. I was early and got to the stoplight before crossing the road to go to Miles Market and noticed the Jeep ahead of me was Maddy. What are the chances that we would both be 20 minutes early. We are never more than 5 minutes early. I parked by her and was happy to see Mason was with her. We went inside and ordered. We celebrated their recent birthdays. I got Maddy an Owala Bottle. She loved it. I had already dropped Mason’s present off when I baby sat the kids. We split a grilled onion smash burger. We ordered Onions for the side that comes with it. We saw Laurie from church and talked to her for a while. We see her a lot when we go out together and joked with each other about it. Laurie is super sweet.
She held Mason and we walked to her table to meet the friend she was with. They left then and we got a high chair for Mason and then sat down. It didn’t take long and our food came out. It’s a good thing we split one because the sandwiches are like a double size of a regular sandwich. We both loved our sandwich and the Au Jus to dip it in. YUM! Mason like his fries, his pieces of cookies and pieces of a donut. Such a fun time and good laughs.
Because we got there early, I was able to get home before Melissa, Kimmy and Vikki left. They showed me what they got Bill for Father’s day. He was still wearing it and said it was very comfy. He loved his Owala bottle too. It was nice seeing Jack, Eli and Isaac. Of course I got my hugs. I love seeing them enjoy hanging out together. Close moms and close sons. I love a close family. We all visited for a while, then everyone left. Vikki called and on her way home, she stopped at a church garage sale. She found a table and chairs, that match the chairs that broke in the basement pretty much for $25 total. Bill drove the Jeep, I drove my car and we met Vikki there. We all put stuff in our vehicles and got it to fit. Vikki had a bungie cord, so Bill bungied my trunk. We only had a few miles to go. Isaac helped unload and immediately took the chair I was carrying from me. He did that at the church too. He is a gentleman. The girls are training their kids up well. He carried the chairs we needed down to the basement. Vikki took a video and pictures and is selling the table and other 4 chairs. She left, and Bill and I went out to the camper. He took the my pillow top off the bed and put it in the family room so we can put it on the bed Vikki sleeps on when she camps with us. We also got the two inflatables and the tent that were stored under our bed. We put the slide out in and are all set to take it in in the morning to Camping World.
Bill and I relaxed after that. We decided to just have cereal for dinner since we weren’t real hungry.
