Mason...he brought a part of a toy to me. Winston is on the left with my shoe in his mouth. He steels shoes, but doesn’t chew them up. Thankful for that.
I got up at 7:15 this morning. I ate cereal for breakfast. I listened to worship music and spent time with the Lord. Bill got up. Then I walked on the walking pad for a mile at 3 mph. I continued listening to amazing worship music. I tried to call Melissa, but she didn’t answer. She didn’t answer last night either, so I was concerned. She called me back and I sure was happy to hear from her. We talked for a while, then I hung up so I could read my Bible. Bill and I read our Bibles and did our prayer/devotion books.
I dusted some rooms. Just need to do the family room tomorrow. I swept and mopped the basement steps and part of the basement floor that was dirty from the guys working down there. I took a nap in the afternoon. Bill just relaxed. I made chocolate chip cookies when my nap was done. Bill went out to the garage to work on putting some extra lights on his Jeep.
I texted Maddy and the baby is doing better and they are turning some meds for the vent down more. I am so happy he’s improving each day. I asked Maddy what time I should drop off the meal I am making them. She said 5 would be good, so I started cooking the macaroni. I had already cooked the burger and onion, so just cooking the macaroni, then putting it all together. I got it all mixed and put some in two big containers for them. I also packed some chocolate chip cookies in a container. I put both in a clothes basket, then added two cokes, 4 candy bars, a bag of animal cookie packages. On my way to their house, I picked up a loaf of Spatz Bread to go with the goulash. I dropped it off and while Alec took the basket to the kitchen and unloaded it, I played with the kids. They are such sweet kiddos. I hadn’t seen them for a while because of my surgery recovery, then they were all sick. They both remembered me and came right up to me and said hi. It was fun seeing them. I left and headed home. Bill was gone when I got home. He had to go get a part for something. I ate a bowl of goulash. Bill got home and he had a two bowls of goulash.
He must have liked it.
We watched some news on NewsMax after we ate. Glad they don’t stir up people to act out in anger. These so call peaceful protestors, are in videos showing them acting very angry and destroying government property. Praying Minnesota and for our nation. The governor and the mayor are responsible for stirring up people to go against law enforcement. They should be thankful ICE is there to arrest illegal violent criminals. How blind can they be.
Worked on labeling some pictures in a picture book made up for our 50th. Fun looking back at family photos.
