Joel was so happy to get his Easter Basket.  He grabbed a Reese's peanut butter egg right away and started eating it.

It was so nice we took Joel outside for a walk.

We got so hot sitting on the deck in the sun!  Thought we were in Florida for a minute!

We had an amazing service at church today.  The Holy Spirit was moving in a powerful way.  Max and Jack were worshipping so good.  Such a joyful time of celebrating Jesus raising from the dead.
We came home and ate mashed potatoes, orange jello and ham sandwiches.  We went to see Joel after that and enjoyed our visit and sitting outside and also getting steps.  Went for a walk down our road when we got home and then watched a movie.

3/25/16 Hailey came to help me fill all of the Easter Eggs for the Egghunt tomorrow! Thank you Hailey!

Made two batches of rolls in the morning.  Also made the jello salad for tomorrow and brownies.

Hailey came over and helped me fill lots of eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt.  She sure did a great job helping.  We watched the movie, "Love finds a Home" while we did it.  She sure loves the Love Comes Softly Series and so do I.  She sampled a roll and a brownie.  After we were done we ate cabbage buns.  Took her home on our way to the Good Friday Service at our church at 7.  It was a moving service as it always is.  Love our church's Good Friday Services.   Came home and got some more stuff ready for tomorrow.

I went to my dr. appt. for my physical today and the parking lot was empty except for a couple cars in the back.  I got in and they said they had tried to reach me and my daughter (Kimmy) to tell me the doctor took off for Easter.  Her husband was there and they asked if I wanted to see him, but I told them I wanted to see her for a physical.  They set it up for next Wednesday now.  Bummer to have to go back.  Called Vikki to let her know I was stopping at Aldi's for flour and salt and then I would be home.  She, Peyton, Isaac and Lennox came over  so the kids could color eggs.  I was so happy to have them do it.  They did such a good job and it was so fun to watch them.  It has rained all day and there is a lot of slush out there.  Bill went to do His Restoration's snowplowing and shoveling and when I got home I shoveled the snow and slush by where Vikki would park when she got her. That's the only place that needed shoveling in the driveway.  I was shoveling the deck when they got her so went in to start coloring eggs.  Got the Easter baskets out and grass in them and started to fill them.

3/23/16 Winter snow warning for us today

We are having a winter storm in March

We are getting snow now but later we are supposed to get ice up to a quarter of an inch

So pretty out and the birds were happy I had food out there

Got up and ate cereal for breakfast and had my coffee and orange juice with Bill.  We went to the hospital afterwards to see Gayla's sister, Jan.  She has been in for 5 weeks(some at Healthsource and some 3 weeks in Covenant.)  We visited with her and talked a lot to her nurse.  We anointed her and prayed for her before we left.  She was so happy we came and prayed.  As we were leaving, I asked the lady in the next bed if she wanted prayer and she said she never turned down prayer.  Bill and I talked with her a few minutes and she went to New Covenant Church.  We had just been there about 5 weeks ago for a revival.  We anointed her and prayed for her too.  She was happy.  We were very happy God gave us that opportunity.  We came home and relaxed and then went to the Sports Zone and walked 4 miles at a fast pace.  Came home and had egg salad sandwiches and veggie soup.  Watched the news and weather report.  Looks like no school tomorrow for Kimmy and the boys..  Kimmy will be so happy because she had us pray there wouldn't be school as she has had a hard week working with difficult kids at school.  We watched the movie Faith Like Potatoes and then the news and then went to bed.

3/22/16 Babysat Evan, then Bill watched him while Melissa and I walked at Sportszone then after she left, I headed over to Kimmy's to spend time with her, Vikki and the kids.

Only 6 of us at breakfast this morning.  Wes and Gayla are in Florida enjoying the sunshine.

After breakfast, I went to Melissa's to watched some things she taped and wanted me to watch.  We did some things around the house and then she left for her Dentist appt. and I took Evan to McDonald's.  He had fun playing and was very happy with the car he got for a toy in his Happy Meal.  He played for about an hour and then we headed to my house.  We went out and saw Bill in the shed and then we were going to feed the birds.  Melissa came when we were heading to the garage.  She stayed for some homemade veggie soup.  Evan had fun with the Duple Train set and made quite the track.  Bill watched Evan and Melissa and I went to Sport Zone to walk.  We walked two miles and then went into see the bird and animal displays.  We had a coffee and sat and relaxed for a while.  Came home and Evan was jumping on the trampoline in pick exercise pants.  They were way too big for him so he kept pulling them up.  Melissa asked Bill what happened and he said right after we left Evan had an accident and wet his pants.  He had them washed already and in the dryer when we got home.  Melissa visited until it was time to go get the kids.  I headed to Kimmy's to spend time with her and Vikki and the kids.  Kenzie had told me she couldn't come now. I got to Kimmy's and spent some time and then Vikki talked to Kenzie and she decided she wanted to come.  I went to get her and then when we got back to Kimmy's we ate.  Vikki had made delicious cheesy potatoes and chicken soft tacos.  It was such wonderful food.  We enjoyed the kiddos and the dogs and after the kids went to bed, we watched the movie, "Do You Believe".  Kenzie laid on the couch with the dogs...gave Truman, Norman and Lennox each a turn.  Kimmy made popcorn for whoever wanted some.  I took Kenzie home on my way home.  Got home at 11:52.

3/21/16...Well my sister is older than me today....She's in heaven andI sure do miss her. Not as much fun not getting to tease her and haveher tease me on our birthdays

Love the CD Vikki gave me to worship to.  I worship to it every day Vikki!  Thank you.  I slept in till 8 so was late going to Sportszone.  I walked 4 1/3 miles, then came home and changed and headed to Aldi's and Krogers to get groceries for Easter dinner.  Came home and dad helped carry groceries in.  Made him chicken, baked potato and string beans and I had salad with chicken on it.  Yum. I am eating soup, salads, Smoothies, nuts and seeds again and already got down to my normal weight.  Now to lose 5 more!

Bill and I watched a movie and I read on my book Miracles From Heaven and then went to bed!  I am thankful for how Bill always takes the pillows off the bed and turns the bedspread back.  He also turns our electric blanket on so the bed is nice and warm when we get in. Also Bill told me to just write on a note on the refrig the jobs he needs to do and he did both of them already without me saying anything.  He was sure happy to tell me the one big job was done😊

3/20/16...Went to a Concert in Midland which honored our veterans! Bill was so happy!

Bill sure was happy to go to the concert honoring the vets.  He wore his marine stuff and looked pretty handsome.  So proud of him!!!

Got home and I had a crocus in bloom!  Beautiful!

We went to church.  Saved seats for everyone.  When Bruce and Melissa got there, I had them pass my Bible to me, not thinking that it still needed to be on the chair to save a spot for Vikki and Rody.  Well church was packed and by the time Vikki came there were only 3 seats in front of us.  She had Danyelle, Brad and Josie with her plus Peyton and Isaac so there wasn't enough room ahead of us.  They ended up going up in the balcony.  After church we had a meeting for the new Sunday School curriculum.  It sounds really good.  We came home and ate some homemade veggie soup and then left at 2 for the concert.  Dad was so excited about this concert.  Charlie and Sue were already there and Melissa and family got there right after we did.  Max was so excited to be there and loved it when they had the different branches of servicemen stand.  His smile was so big.  Bruce, Melissa and family went with us to Pizza Sam's afterward.  The pizza was delicious and papa sure had fun with the boys and getting them balls out of the machine for a quarter.  Came home and watched a movie and got a few steps in and flights of stairs.
