Jacob and and I just before we left for the Newsboy's concert.
Hailey and Jacob at G's Pizzeria

Me and my beautiful Melissa

Hailey is so much fun

My heart was so touched by how Jacob loved worshipping.

We were happy to find Matthew!

Ready for the concert....just need to get in the doors.

Waiting in line with these sweeties.  Guess they knew how to color coordinate!
Kimmy came over this morning.  We went outside to put hang the swing and turn the table.  Then we decided to put the other table where it goes.  Kimmy wrapped all the bottoms of the chair legs with electrical tape and then put covers I had gotten over it.  She was so fast and got all the chairs done really quick.  I took the plastic covers off the chair while she did that.  They looked so nice when she was finished.  She also did some of the other chairs.  We decided we would eat outside because it was sunny and nice.  Melissa called and she and Evan were heading over too.  We had soup and sandwiches.  Was nice eating on the deck and visiting.  The girls left and I worked on running copies of the Newsletter I did for Faith Riders so Bill could take them to the meeting.  At 4:20, Kimmy and Jared brought Jacob over.  I was waiting in the drive way and Kimmy took a picture and then we left to go get Melissa and Hailey.  After that, we went to G's Pizzeria.  We got two 12' pizzas,  breadsticks, and pop (Hailey had lemonade).  We all went to the bathroom before we left so we wouldn't have to go at the concert.  We got to the the Dow Event Center and the line was pretty long.We were glad we were there early.  When they opened the doors the line moved quickly.  We got in the doors and guess what.  We all had to go to the bathroom.  We should have waited and found our seats first, because it was general seating and you just found seats anywhere.  We walked in one side and it was packed so quickly headed for the other side.  We found 4 together.  They were toward the back but we could see good.  Ryan Stevenson sang first, then Audioadrenaline sang (They did, Big, Big House and Song of the saints).  They had another group of 3 brothers do a few songs.  Hailey and I went to get some nacho's for her and saw Joel.  We were so happy to see him.  Then when the guy on stage was encouraging the people to praise the Lord, Joel would answer him and we knew where he was sitting.  It was about 6 rows behind us.
Melissa and I went to find Matt.  Found him right away and hugged him and took a picture.
Then the Newsboys came on and we were all so happy.  They were great!  The drummer and drum set was on a circular thing up high. During the one song, the drum platform started spinning and then it even tipped on its side.  The drummer kept drumming.  It was beautiful with the lights spinning.  Amazing.  We couldn't figure how the drummer stayed on it. Must have buckled in.
Jacob really like the light sticks.  I took him down to see how much they were and they were $5.  I got him one and he was so happy.  Hailey didn't want one but about a half hour later she wanted Nachos and cheese so I got her that.  I picked up a light stick for Adam and Eli and one for Melissa's kiddos.  The Newsboys finished a song and the lead singer said good night.  Everyone was clapping and yelling so they came back out and did another song.  What a let down that it wasn't God's Not Dead as we all wanted to hear that one.  Well they finished and then started showing clips from the Movie God's not Dead and then sang the song.  We were so happy.  Everyone was really into worshipping with that song.  It was a great night and I was so happy at how excited Jacob and Hailey were about the concert and how much they loved it.  Melissa and I loved it too.  Took Melissa and Hailey home and then took Jacob home. Went in and saw Kimmy's new dishwasher and all the mugs and stuff they have made with the clay.  Simply amazing!  I couldn't believe all the things they have made and how beautiful they are. Can't wait to see them painted and glazed.

4/13/16...Went to get Stacey Simmermacher's shower gift for Sunday

Went shopping with Phyllis to get a shower gift for Stacey.  There wasn't much left on her list at Babies R Us so we went to Burlington's and found some nice stuff.  Also got a Jesus calling first Bible.  Bill rolled the lawn today.  Nice to have that done.  Made chicken fried rice to take to our potluck at church before kid's care groups.  Gabe forgot all about it but we had plenty and we were all stuffed afterward.  Sat with Emily, Stacey, Pat and Rich.  Came home and watched Ozzie and Harriet.

4/12/16...Went to our breakfast...than to Melissa's

Went to breakfast and then stopped at Melissa's to see if I could help her with anything because her shoulder was hurting bad yesterday. I helped get the laundry out of the dryer for her and fold it and then loaded the washer.  Had to go to Dennis Watkin's mom's funeral so couldn't stay too long.  Went to the funeral.  Dennis was happy we were there.  Ron was there too.  No one else from church made it, I'm glad we went.  Went to get a few groceries after that. Got home and cleaned a little for care group.  We had 16 of us at care group.  Good study on self control.
Beautiful woodpecker (or woodknocker as Peyton would say)  on the suet feeder.

4/11/16 The girls all came over today. Peyton, Isaac and Max came too. Love visiting with them.

Max, Peyton and Isaac

Peyton got the dog paw toy stuck in her hair so she came for Nana to get it out.

Got up and started making rolls and got lots of chicken going in the crockpot.  Then got ready.  Kimmy came while I was still in my PJ's.  I changed and then we visited for a little bit.  She peeled potatoes while I cut them up.  She is pretty fast!  Such a sweet daughter and helps me so much.  I made brownies.  I am taking a meal to Dennis in our Care group and his family at the funeral home.
His mom passed away.  The girls had fun visiting with each other.  Bill, the girls, the kids and I prayed for Melissa and then for Max.  So blessed to have a family that prays for each other and knows the power of prayer.  We ate salad with chicken on it and soup for lunch an then had fresh fruit cut up for dessert.  Still trying to eat healthy.  Kimmy and I got steps in.  Melissa was relaxing on the couch (which she never does) because her shoulder was hurting.  Melissa left to go pick up kids and then Kimmy left shortly after.  I mashed the potatoes, shredded the chicken breasts, and cooked the corn and then packed it up and Bill and I took it to the funeral home.  Dennis and his brothers, sisters, uncle and niece and family were so happy to have the food.  We visited for a while with the family and some friends from our church, then left to come home and eat.  We did our Bible study lesson and watched a movie.

Kari Jobe above and below

Love this picture Rody took of everyone worshipping.  AMAZING WORSHIP

We went to church and Pastor Ken preached another amazing message on the modern family.  So thankful he preaches the Word in truth no matter if it steps on peoples toes or not.  We are very blessed to have him for our pastor.  We got out of church and I had to scrape lots of ice off my windows.  I started my car to have it warming up.  I tried to scrape Rachael's next to me but hers was so hard my scraper would take it off.  The funny thing was that Vikki and Rody were parked down past me and they didn't have any ice on their car.   I came home and changed and ate a salad and soup and then left to go pick up Vikki and Rody.  Rody drove my car and Vikki and I visited in the back seat.  On the way, I realized I forgot to put my fitbit on.  Now I know how Melissa felt when she went to the Ford Museum and forgot hers.  The roads were terrible when we started out.  At church Stacie had Natalie check Kody's arm as he was playing with a friend and hurt it.  She told Stacie to take him in to have it X-rayed.  Stacie called us while we were riding and his elbow is cracked.  Poor sweetie.  I texted Kimmy and Melissa to have them pray because the roads were so bad and there were lots of accidents and one roll over.  Shortly after I texted them the roads got lots better.  Thank You Jesus for praying daughters and for answering.  We got to Great Lakes Crossing and Rody let us off at the door while he hunted for a parking spot as it was raining.  We had driven around looking and hadn't found one.  We were so happy we could just get off at the door.  We walked around part of the mall, then Vikki treated us to Cinnabuns.  So delicious.  We walked around and went in more stores and Rody found a nice pair of shoes.  We went to the food court before we left and got subway sandwiches.  Left and got to the concert a few minutes later.  He let us off again and it was pouring rain out.  He was blessed when a man told him he could park in the VIP section.  We went through the check in and then found our seats.  They were wonderful seats.  The concert started and was amazing.  So happy we could be there.  We went up and talked to Matthew and Malachi and took pictures.  Hillsong's pastor preached and was so good.  We left and it had warmed up outside and wasn't raining as hard.  The roads were good on the way home.   We finally found a McDonald's that was open when we got to Saginaw and got some food.  We were all hungry. It was such a fun night and so nice spending time with Vikki and Rody.  So thankful Rody drove.  He did a great job!

4/9/16....Last day at Biker's for Change

This church was huge and so nice. This is the little kitchenette where they set all the snacks out.  On the other side of it are all the tables.

Loved this yummy popcorn that's good for you

The boys and girls clubs (replacement for boy scouts and girl scouts) in the church, made and served spaghetti for a donation.  It was delicious and they came and offered us seconds of stuff.
Peyton, Mocha, me, and Isaac

Lenny, me and Mocha

Shannon and Rob's little boy, James Robert was born last night. He weighed 7 lb. 9 oz.  He is so cute and looks just like his mom wen she was a baby
After we were dismissed from the Rally, we stayed and helped clean up.  I washed tables and chairs off.  Then we went into Goodies (the store where they set up and sell everything. We helped them pack up everything and put them in storage boxes. It didn't take long (2 hrs.) as they had many helpers.  Headed home and stopped at restaurant for dinner on our way.  It was called the Hitching Post.  I had a delicious Ruben sandwich.  We got back to Wes and Gayla's and our stuff in our car and left.  We saw the eagle's nest on state st. just before Midland Rd., but didn't see the eagle.

Got home and went to Vkki's to pick up Mocha.  Rody walked Peyton and Isaac to his mom's house, but they got home in time for me to see them.  Peyton made me, papa, and Mocha lots of pretty pictures.

4/8/16 Bikers for Change

Biker's for Change....Such great message and great worship

Look at the weather we are having here!

Roger Wilson, our CMA National Evangelist preaching.  He and his sweet wife, Rayleen are retiring in Dec.  We sure will miss them being our Evangelists.  Have had them for 18 years.

We stayed at the Travel Lodge in Jackson.  Wes and Gayla and Elaine stayed there too.  We all rode with Wes and Gayla.  We got settled in our motel and then headed to the church for Biker's for change.  The church is huge with lots of tables in the foyer and a kitchen area.  We all brought snacks so there were tons.  My favorite was the healthy bags of popcorn.  I am going to buy some.
After the message and worship we had pizza and pop.  Also did some shopping at Goodies.  Bill bought a cool mesh leather CMA vest.  We headed to our motel and Bill and I watched When Calls the Heart with our fire stick.  So nice to have.
