5/7/16...Went on our Run for the Son ride to raise money for missions. So much fun. Stopped at Kimmy's too

Kevin, Vicky, Brian, Wes and Bill at Bill and Sabrina's getting ready for the Run for the Son ride to Clare

It was sprinkling out in Saginaw
So happy our bike was ready for us to pick up from the guy fixing it.  Left our car at Kimmy's and met the group in Sanford

Arrived at the Amish Home to have our meal

Inside where we ate dinner.  The little Amish boy in the picture had such cute curly hair.

Jeff and Charlie.  Jeff just got home from Florida and North Carolina.  He was in the hospital in Florida and then several ER's on the trip to North Carolina.  His pace maker stopped which saved his life because someone found him in time, he fell and hit his head and got a brain bleed.  He got out of the hospital and while Vickey drove, he had seizers which landed him in different ER's.  He is a miracle.  3 years ago he fell out of a tree stand in the woods.  Was miraculously found, the ambulance made it back to where they could get him in time, and he recovered amazingly.  God has a plan for his life for sure.
This is the outside of the house....Vicky, Kevin, Kitty and Charlie
We went to the Colonville store and had fun going through it.  I bought a few things.  When we came out this is what we saw.......captions are underneath the pictures
This is what CMA people do after they eat a big meal.  Find a  glider rocker.  Pastor Bob Schultz and Brian

Renae and her hubby...they live about a mile from Kimmy and Jared.   They found a double glider

Kitty and Kenny found a swing

So happy to see Jacob, Adam and Eli

It was a beautiful day on the farm

Oscar the Ram is so cute with his bell.  It sounds wonderful

Clarence was so cute too

Kimmy and Jared's new lambs.  I cut Daisy's ear out of the picture.  Whoops.

Me and my boy Eli

I was laughing because these boys were to dirty to hug and even a little smelly.  I had been plugging my nose

Got serious for this picture with my boys!
Headed over to Bill and Sabrina's house at 8:30.  Stopped and put gas in the car as we had to take it because our motorcycle was being fixed in Midland.  I got gift cards to get the other boys Christmas presents for next year at Toys R Us.  Stopped at Tim Hortons and I got a blueberry muffin.  Bill didn't get anything for himself.  He did pick up a big box of donut holes to take to their house.   Got to Bill and Sabrina's and turned in our money.  Bill gave a thousand and I gave one hundred.  So thankful for all those who donated.  We visited with everyone and then Bill got a call saying our motorcycle was fixed.  I called Kimmy to see if we could leave my car at her house while we rode.  I headed over there after dropping Bill off to get the bike.  Got hugs from all the kids and talked with Kimmy for a few minutes and then Bill got there.  We left and the timing was perfect as we got to Sanford and the rest of the group was at the gas station.  It was sunny from Midland on so didn't even need rain gear.  The only problem we had is when Bill stopped the bike because his phone was falling out of the compartment on the bike.  It came all the way out right where he stopped.  Luis and Eva stopped to make sure we were ok.  Then we had to catch up to everyone else.  We got to the Amish farm and had chicken, ham, mashed potatoes, corn, noodles with chicken, homemade white and wheat bread with apple butter and homemade peanut butter.  Everything was so delicious.  We could have all we could eat too for $15.  I had angel food cake with strawberries and cool whip for dessert and Bill had cherry pie.  That was yummy too.  This was such a nice place to eat and will be a great memory. Rode back with the group until we got to Meridian Rd.  Then the couple who live by Kimmy and us went on our own.  Bill stayed a few minutes at Kimmy's and walked through the woods with Jared, Kimmy and I and then he left to go home and let Mocha out for me.  I stayed and visited and Kimmy and I went to the Nursery to pick up the plants I ordered from Jacob for his band fundraiser.  We had so much fun and I was so happy she went with me.  They had free popcorn and punch too.  Good thing Kimmy was with me.  It said I could pick out a 4 1/2 inch square or 4 inch round container.  We picked out 3 perennials and headed in.  We got the wrong size.  Went back and didn't see any and then checked again and they told us where they were.  Picked out three nice plants and then went back to Kimmy's. Was happy to see her new sheep, and all of the other animals, plus her pottery she was going to put in the Kiln.  Happy to get lots of steps walking there too.  Oh, and a swing for my swings to replace the baby swing.  Thank you Kimmy.  Got home and went and got Evan's birthday present and Max and Kimmy's 3 boys their Christmas presents for next year.  Dad and I watched a Hallmark movie when we got home.

5/6/16 Kimmy, Vikki and Melissa came over today

Evan with the coaster he made his mom for Mother's Day serving her a drink

Did laundry and hung it outside.  Such a beautiful 70 degree day.  Kimmy got here and then Vikki shortly after.  When Bill got home from the Sportszone we went to get Vikki's treadmill and took it to her house.  Then we went to a subdivision garage sale.  Vikki had gone with me there yesterday, but there were more today and Kimmy got to go.  We all found stuff and had fun.  Came home and had soup and taco's for lunch.  Had cherry dump cake for desert and cookies.  We worked on the swing chains Kimmy got.  Kimmy got all the sticky stuff off of them.  She also got a glider swing to hang.  The boys will have lots of fun.  We spent the day outside which was nice.  Weeded around the house a little more and sat outside to read my Bible.  Watched a Hallmark movie that was good.

5/5/16...Vikki came over and we went to garage sales

Peyton found these cool sunglasses in the free box.  Too bad Isaac didn't find some as the sun was bothering him for this pic.

Peyton and Isaac at one of the garage sales

Hailey sent me a picture of her in the sweatshirt I found for her at a garage sale.  She let me know she likes it...so sweet

Got up early and got ready to go to garage sales.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came and she drove over to where the sales were.  We found lots of stuff and had fun shopping.  Peyton and Isaac did great. Peyton is quite the shopper.  Vikki found a treadmill.  They had $50 on it but took $40.  Vikki tried it out there to make sure it worked good and it did.  They had two big horses marked $5 each.  Peyton absolutely loved the white one.  I offered $4 for it and they said yes and then Isaac was sad because he didn't have something so they threw the other horse in for nothing.  They were so nice.  Bill has to go tomorrow to get the treadmill and take it to Vikki's because he took his truck in today to have the rails for the 5th wheel put on.  He also had to get ready for tonight as we were meeting with Katelyn and Rocco for counseling and going over wedding plans and afterward he had to lead the officer's meeting for Faith Riders.  Wes, Gayla, Bill Smith, Luis, Brian, Bill and I were here for it.  Gayla brought a delicious banana cake and I made a cherry/pineapple dump cake and chocolate chip cookies.  The meeting went well and Bill did good leading it.

They gave him this cool bank!

Jacob at his concert playing the clarinet.  In yellow shirt.  He did great Kimmy said
Peyton, Evan and Isaac had fun playing together today
Got up early to make vegetable soup.  After it was done I took my shower and got ready.  Kimmy came over.  Melissa and Evan came shortly after Kimmy, and then Vikki, Peyton and Isaac came after that.  Nice to get to visit.  We ate soup and crackers for lunch.  I had to take Bill to drop his truck off for the rails to be put on.  Kimmy left to go to the pottery store with Jared.  Kimmy came back while I took Bill to go pick up his truck.  They can't put the rails on until tomorrow because they have to order them...the ones he took there won't work.  Visited with the girls until they had to leave.  Did my kids care group lesson.  Ate and then went to church for kid's care group.  Had 8 kiddos.  They were pretty happy!  Tina and Chris had a big tent set up and had a smore' maker going for them to make smores' to eat.  I had picked up more surprises for my surprise box at garage sales and took it and they were really excited about that.  So funny though, as I put the stuffed animals I got out and the cars and the boys picked the stuffed animals and were so happy about them.  I thought they would pick the cars  All of the kids took animals. Tina made me a smore' and brought it to me so I could eat it.  YUMMY!    Came home and read over Bill's agenda for our Faith Riders Officer's meeting tomorrow night to make any corrections.  There was only one.  Read some scripture and then watched the news and went to bed.

5/3/16...Bill had the bed liner put in his new truck. Went shopping for Evan's birthday with Melissa

Put a couple of crosses on Mom and Dad's grave.  Have to put the shepherd's hook back up (they must have hit it with the lawnmower and bent it).  Bill straightened it for me.  I will hang a plant on it.

Bill's truck liner looks so nice.....tomorrow the 5th wheel hitch goes in.  He has it all ready to go.  Yay!

We went to breakfast and had a nice time.  Had a devotion and prayer.  11 of us were there.  Went to Melissa's to pick her and Evan up and then went to Toys R Us to get ideas of what Evan would like for his birthday.  Got a cool lightsaber set.  Got one for Jack's birthday too.  Melissa got a couple of things too.   We went to Babies R us after that and picked out Jen's shower presents for the twins.
I got two baby books, two sun suits, and velour kids hangers.  Went to Tim Horton's for drinks and muffins.  Evan had a donut.  Dropped them off and then headed home.  When I got there, Bill wanted me to take him to pick up his truck so I did.  It looks great.   Came home and started cleaning.  Got a call from Melissa and she left her coat in my car and her keys were in the pocket.  It was time for her to pick up her kids and Caleb and she had no keys.  I hurried and took them to her.  I made every light so was happy about that.  Got them to her at 3:14.  She headed to school and wasn't too late.  She didn't have to go into the school at least.  I was happy to take to Kimmy for a while as Jared's parents have been there so I didn't want to interrupt their time.  Sure have missed her.  I was happy to take to Vikki too as she has been staying at Stacie's and also working at Debbie's.  I am missing her too.  We had an amazing care group.  We had 20 of us there so were packed in as we all have to see the TV for the lesson.  Cleaned up the kitchen and watched the news before heading to bed.

5/2/16....Went to Gayla's sister, Jan's funeral

Digging up around the plants and also adding more plants

Love the finch feeder I got at the garage sales.  Thanks for pointing it out to me Kimmy.  It is just like the one my dad had given me.  Finches eat upside down on it and are the only birds that do.  They are lining up to eat from it ha ha!  We went to Gayla's sister's funeral at St. Peter's.  We stayed for the dinner afterwards with Louise, Gary and Dorthy and Ed and Janet.  Came home and got lots of outside work done.

5/1/16....Taught Sunday School

Fun celebrating Iain's 7th Birthday in Sunday School

Kimmy got her lambs yesterday!  Sure are cute!

Jared and Jacob with new lambs

All 4 new lambs

Cute sheep
Went to church.  Taught Sunday School.  It was Iain's 7th birthday so he brought cookies for class.  We had fun celebrating his birthday.  We came home and ate left over tacos from yesterday's fundraiser dinner.  Called Debbie and wished her happy birthday.  Went to Gayla's sister's showing at Case's.  Watched movies and had popcorn.
